thank goodness for that oops, am already worrying about going to Ireland and outing myself as a fraud to VG without having to pretend I'm off somewhere having a life

I have to go to bed or I will collapse.

Hope you all get a lie in (even if it is only fictitious/ficticious ??)

oopsacoconut · 28/03/2009 21:58

TwilightSurfer · 28/03/2009 22:49

thank you dizzy. pink. will be offer googling pink heals shortly. how are you this evening? i am wishing you a very restful night.

sazzles, too funny about emma turning her nose up to your cooking efforts. bless dd1...ladies SHE HAS THE MOST AMAZING APPETITE!!!

Yes Dizzy Lovely Lovely new name. And please feel free to send me links of shoe pics. I am CLUELESS about the shoes for this dress. I have knee high back (tall healed) boots and black (thick strapy) heals in my possession...but I was thinking maybe this dress needs a little vavavoom. I don't konw. CRUD!! This event is in less than a week!!! ARRRGGGHHH!!!

Sazzles I've just commented all over your holiday album.

dizzychixies · 28/03/2009 23:36

va va voom and called glamorous too!!

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2009 00:11

ooohhh dizzy me likes!!

just dug out boots....she pics and tell me if the boots are a possibility (since they are technically free).

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2009 00:16

oh don't look too closely at the area behind me in that photo otherwise you will see how unskilled i am at housekeeping.

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2009 08:09

Whew! It's 3am and I FINALLY finished reading the last thread. Goodness. I've noticed that PMS does something to my brain that makes it hard for me to focus mentally long enough to read anything. But I did it!!

This is very very late but thanks to all it's good to be back!

Expectant, I think a Singapore meet up with be great! I'd love to be knocked out and wake up there. Amazing place. One that I would love to visit.

VG I love you enthusiasm for travel with you boys. Makes me want to start planning my next vacation. Buckets what was your address?

Eye Lash coloring sounds interesting..... I bet if I tried it before the party on Saturday I'd have a funky reaction and my eyes would swell shut. That's my luck these days.

Dizzy thank you for the kind words about my beach pics.

Oops did you get the cat cleaned up properly after the vomit incident?

I can't wait to hear about Cyteen's hen weekend. Very !!

No1...chickenpox!!!

Sibh vertigo

Buckets I just want to say thank you for sharing the bonding differences between your boys. I'm not in your exact situation but the bonding (and a few other issues) are quite similar. Sometimes I feel sad that Reese has been easier in 7months than dd1 in 5 years. But whatchagonna do but love them both as best you can. You inspire me to work harder with dd1. The dear one is devilish again. Just thankful she held it together perfectly for our vacation.

Poppy 13min!! Wow! That's a lightening labour. Good for her. Oh and too funny about being refused booze. That's a compliment.

Dizzy nice job with the CEO letter. I should do the same regarding our stay in a high end hotel recently. Total Crap! Five times during the night a train sslloowwllyy went by tooting its horn at every blasted intersection. Sounded like it was in the room with us and we were on the backside of the hotel, farthest from the bloody thing.

Belated birthday wishes to babyAtaraxis!!!

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2009 08:10

For the record it did not take me 8 hours to catch up. I did sleep for a while but then couldn't so decided to put myself to good use.

Notice that good use was mn reading and not laundry or other silly housekeeping task.

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2009 08:24

ALERT

HOT MAMAS PLEASE REPORT!

alittlebitshy · 29/03/2009 09:18

Morning - marking my place on new thead.

taken me ages to read.

Glad sazzles is back. a question sazzles (well maybe more than 1). What did you do re food for dd2 on hols and what did you do about car seats? we're going away after easter- only to ireland but it's a plane trip so luggage restrictions etc and i'm panicking.....

dizzychixies · 29/03/2009 09:39

ALBS lovely, where are you going to be, we're going north AND south Ireland but we're taking the car on the boat. Is it a random trip or do you have friends/family there? Could they borrow car seats from someone on your behalf? I know we've hired them from the car hire company before too.

TS well done on the catch up

not a bad night here even with the clock change sun is shining and all 3 seem on good form so am off to make someting of the day - you'll realise that this involves the gymnastics run (for which I cannot find the certificate), collecting lunch box I left at friends house and need for tomorrow, going to tesco and if the kids are playing nice going to homebase too look at wallpaper - hardly living the good life

speaking of which I must check my lottery numbers too as if I've won I shall fund us ALL a meet up in France/Singapore/Argentina/Scotland/Ireland and Hawaii - TS has family there

dizzychixies · 29/03/2009 09:43

hop nobody booked any flights - not a penny

alittlebitshy · 29/03/2009 09:46

We're going north - enniskillen (sp), portadown and lisburn. dh's god daughter is the main reason (they moved just after their baptism last year) but taking the chance to see other frieds too. wanted to do south too but timing of easter and school hols means we don't have enough time. We have a friend in Dublin (plus of course vg too) and i so so want to do dublin but it'll have to be another time

We are flying cos as our trip is so short (mon to fri) - taking time out to get to boat etc would mean we wouldn't get to see our friends v much (they're both drs and don't have muc time off over ester)

can you trust car hire car seats??

dizzy what are you doing for food for dylan? We can do a bit of cooking at friends i guess but... seems cheeky/ too much effort . neither of mine have ever had jars etc (irrational)but am wondering about taking a few ella's kitchen/plum pots just in case.

dizzychixies · 29/03/2009 09:50

Ella's kitchen and plum pots all acceptable in this house she gets what we eat too but I don't see the harm in them at all. The Ella's packets are great for just squeezing onto a spoon when you're out and don't take too much, ireland has dragged itself into the 21st century rather nicely and now has these things readily available

fully understand why you're flying, we're going for over a week this time which is why we're taking the car with us. Are you hiring a car whilst you're there? We've used hired seats before (not practical taking on ryanair/easyjet) but I've also taken the pram chassis with the car seat on it too.

Miamla · 29/03/2009 10:14

good morning all
DP left early this morning so i popped downstairs to smuggle the laptop back to bed. DS currently throwing all of his toys out of his cot and practicing his best smiles. I think he wants to be released Oh and before you start congratulating me for actually having DS in his cot.. he slept in our bed, he's only in the cot because i needed a wee!

DS slept for a continuous 4 hours last night!!! i feel amazing having so much sleep but could i get back to sleep again? could i heck!

TS that dress definitely needs either strappy orange or strappy pink shoes. not v good at searching for these things but i'll have a go

Miamla · 29/03/2009 10:18

TS what about these

Miamla · 29/03/2009 10:19

TS these are perfect but i'm guessing a little over budget
