and now it has gone.

dizzydixies · 02/02/2009 21:14

strange, ok.

had terrible night with Dylan so shattered. Got up and managed to do school run and go straight to Tesco from there. Did shop, came home in fecking blizzard and D asleep in her car seat - didn't last long and she then proceeded to 20minute nap on whenever I put her down for rest of day. DD2 in good form so we walked to school to collect DD1 - fecking blizzard

now ladies we are NOT talking nice fluffy snow here, we are talking fecking wet, miserable, slap you in the face snow mixed with sleet & harsh wind which we stood at the school and watched coming in off the sea/river and KNEW we were about to get it - my face felt like someone had been smacking me about

back home, DD1 feeling a bit better, DD2 overtired and whinging, Dylan still grizzly and yet I still decided to make a pie for tea [never learn emoticon]

just an on and off day here, felt like I was all over the bloody place due to lack of Dylan sleeping - to be fair her tooth has cut through today so it was probably that but I took quite badly to it with being so tired from sod all sleep

so, there you go - nothing exciting just strange and all over the place

anyone watching Masterchef tonight? silly mare with her basil and coriander ha ha ha [evil emoticon]

right should attempt to catch up before drown in all the chatter

sazzles I think it is because dh says no more that I want to enjoy it for as long as I can too.

dizzydixies · 02/02/2009 21:35

WHO WAS IN GLASGOW AND DIDN'T TELL ME!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

no1 I fed DD1 till she was 8months and then I went back to work, I work shifts so it just wasn't worth the effort

DD2 got 6 months of maternal guilt as she was bloody hellish from day one, had they been the other way round am not sure she would have been bf at all.

I'll just keep going with Dylan, we're doing ok and I'll work it out as we go and my boobs have never recovered since I had DD1 so once am decided that the Dixie clan is complete I'll be getting them chopped off

VG delighted it all went well and looking forward to our Wheat date!

CC your DS is hysterical bless him! loved your fb photos too we had friends round for tea last night and she is due her first in May and I looked about the same size

I made chocolate banoffee for desert last night so DH and I have just polished that off - at least it had banana in it

sambo303 · 02/02/2009 21:37

rotter impressive cake!

steak just wiping away the tears of laughter from the thread you linked too

no1 asked dp what he thought about when to stop bf - said he'd given it no thought. That's what I love about my dp, he's oldskool. Myself, I would like to make it to 6 months then BLW so bf continues alongside that, then going back to work in Sept and not sure what will happen then. In an ideal world I would bf in the morning and evening for a further 6 months and then be pg with dc2 heh heh, day dreaming now, will stop.

dizzydixies · 02/02/2009 21:44

TS am so sorry to read about your Gran, I hope she's now in peace, love to you all

ALBS hope the ear infections clearing up now, remember to wrap up REALLY well if you have to go out

Miamla well done on the Arnica

should we start a thread knit?!? I found mum's knitting when clearing out her wardrobe and couldn't bring myself to look in it incase it was something half done for the baby - shall be braver next time

dizzydixies · 02/02/2009 21:47

ann meant to say you could use either olive oil or coconut oil for the cradle cap

just rub it in and leave it and then in the morning give it a gentle massage with a soft baby brush

dentinox also good for the shampooing

rotter great cake! have declared myself fecking pie genius tonight!!!

even the kids liked it

rotterpotter · 02/02/2009 21:56

Yes, have had wine, need pie now what flavour?

I must say that DH has never minded sharing my breasts with the DC, even if he occasionally gets a little squirt of milk . He is not one of those who think more than a handful is a waste, thank goodness .

The only thing I found was that DD got fed up of my slow let down in comparison to her sippy cup, I'm sure that's what did for us in the end.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 02/02/2009 21:57

mmmm.. i wonder if that is part of it.
I know he does't mind bf and supports it/me.
I know full well he can seperate the two, but I know we wont resume bedroom shenanigans properly until I stop.(maybe deep down he thinks 6 months is enough and wants 'Me' back too iykwim)
think he also shit scared of me getting pregnant.

rotterpotter · 02/02/2009 21:57

X-post Dizzy, yes please to the recipe, big fans of pie here [fat pig emoticon]

dizzydixies · 02/02/2009 21:59

lol rotter will see if I can find a link and if not will post it for you

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 02/02/2009 22:00

x post dizzy you see my dh being a boob man an all, would/does gag at the thought.
I just do not do it for him when pregnant and feeding.
I have tried to ply him with alcohol, but he quite often says, 'there is not enough beer in the world, sorry love'

cheeky fecker

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 02/02/2009 22:01
