dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 19:45

ohh good luck No1 I hope he has a good sleep for you and what a lovely dsis you have

TS I love it when DD1 has her friends over as they go upstairs and do all sorts of very important 5yr old girls things leaving me to sort out other stuff - granted I have to then tidy up her room but it makes her feel all grown up and important having a friend over

sazzles you warm enough down there?

miamla thank you for noticing my absence had a lovely time with Poppy and the Poppets

poppy nipped to St Andrews, believe I may have been caught by sodding camera whilst in back seat DD2 crying inbetween sobs of ' I don't want to go, I MISS POPPET1'
nothing like a touch of melodrama!!

CC only 31minutes to go

evening everyone else do not late me stay on here yapping all night again please as am pooped - fell asleep giving Dylan her final feed at 6pm tonight whilst DH bathed the other two - he found us both sound asleep on the bed and took Dylan through to her cot for me

new NEXT directory arrived today [meep for the credit cards][meep][meep]

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 19:52

poppy you know how you liked the pink but thought the floor length was a bit much? how about this?

here? I know you're not actively looking but it IS lovely and would suit your colouring very well

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 20:08

Well I just about survived that [phew] The whole thing went down a storm and the cake was a great success. We had an amazing moment when MIL and FIL walked out the church it suddenly, from absolutly no-where, it started to snow great big white flakes totally beautiful. We have an inch or so of fresh white snow outside it is truely beautiful.

DD was much admired and I have to say she was the most beautiful baby there - one of DH's Aunt's said 'DD is lovely she's not one of the doughy, lumpy babies' whilst looking at DH's nieces. This caused much inter family snipeing.

DD was exhausted as she never got to have a big nap. So boobies and bed at 7.30 and not a peep has been heard.

I am now ready to veg infront of the telly.

oops thats fantastic am glad you had a good day after all your hard work

winter weddings are the best imo

CaptainCaveman · 07/01/2009 20:10

dizzy are we winning?

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 20:11

we're not only winning, we've won its paid for and is going to be sent directly to Mr DS1 Caveman so he'll get a parcel straight to him in his name

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 20:14

too many beautifuls

DD is a serious pudding - it takes alot to get her to giggle, have only managed it a few times, but grins insanely at anyone. She has absolutely NO interest in rolling or wriggling or moving at all.

Also in church today as the IL were renewing vows she blew an enormous raspberry then got the hiccups which made the whole gathered lot laugh and they had to start from the beginning again.

sleeping was also no existent for us lastnight - awake at 12, 3, 5, 7.30 then her and DH slept in until 10 whilst I finished things off in the kitchen.

Dizzy - for you with the speed camera. If it's any sort of consolation, I've thought I've been caught there before but nothing's ever come through... Thanks for the dress link. You are evil... It's gorgeous! Have just remembered that I'm supposed to be organising a reunion of our uni lot this summer . I now have a reason to get it sorted! Was great to see you.

VG - Sorry - knew you weren't having a go about the nurseries, it was just because you were asking!

ann - We have another Grand Old Duke of York giggler here. That and The Wheels on the Bus. The one thing she has in common with her sister as a baby!

Poor you Buckets with the car locked, Kurt inside drama. Glad all worked out so well.

at your DP Sambo. I can only imagine what hard work it must be staying strong at silly o'clock in the morning even with lots of support. Hope he makes up for it tonight and takes over!

How's your back today No1. Know what you mean about the tugging. Plenty of that going on here. Lots of out-loud ouching.

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 20:16

going to catch up with today's posts and reply to everyone.

So glad all went well today oops. Snow - how lovely!

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 20:19

give you a giggle poppy town was empty so got a prime parking slot, left girls in car whilst I marched into key/shoe repair shop to get parking voucher for lovely blokey to tell me its been parking meters since Sept

back out walking past puzzled DD2 to get ticket from meter then returned to car - shows you how long its been since I was there, or at least since I paid to park there

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 20:22

Oops did any take pictures of you all in the snow? That would be the most beautiful of photos.

We're back from doc without a problem. Doc said it would be find to "try" the milk based formula for a few weeks. It would give us a good idea if the excema (sp?) is being caused by it. We also decided to give her that vaccine that may or may not have caused the problem warrenting the ambulance call a few months back. I feel better about it all now and Reese is older, bigger and VERY healthy. We'll just wait and see.

She weighed in at a solid 15lbs. I think that's what she weighed 4 weeks ago.

I've not mentioned it but I've been a bit down in the dumps the past few days but loads of things happened to me for the good today so things must be looking up.
First I've been extremely tired. Then school was cancelled so I got to sleep in. Second the sky has been gray for days. Then the sun came out. Third I've not felt pretty. Then an old friend commented on an old photo bringing back good memories and a lady at the doctor's office questioned me about how I got my figure back so quickly.

Now I suppose a tree will fall on our house tonight and the government will want to audit my tax files.

Sibh · 07/01/2009 20:26

TS -- for the record, that tennis woman was nuts.

DD2 laughs at random stuff which annoys the small ones here too. The only guaranteed laugh I get is if I balance her, tummy down, on top of my head, roll her around a bit, pull her down in front of my face and shout 'boo boo' quite loudly at her. It's 'boo' twice because that's what DD1 always said.

When MIL was here over Christmas she couldn't even raise a smile from the child because she is an unbelievably quiet person and DD2 only responds to raucousness and tomfoolery.

Buckets -the whole trip sounds a bit of a nightmare. The whole car keys thing always makes me nervous with small ones around ...

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 20:29

Thank you Sibh.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 20:32

ts I am so sorry you have been feeling down, you should tell is and we can try to cheer you up. Youa re always great/quick with all the words of encouragement and support. You are wonderful. I was about to comment on one of your fb pics earlier and yes you do look stunning.
I am glad all went well at the docs.

oops I bet the snow was lovely, and lol at your dd raspberry blowing. You can relax now after all that baking.

Diizy and poppy glad you both had lovely day fingers crossed you dont get ticket.

Marcus is now fast asleep, took 40 mins I let him cry/whinge again but comforted him too.
So all the thoughts and suggestion from dh re the occas. ff have been taken out of my hands now as It has been so painful to hold ds in the position of feeding I have given him a ff today.
I have had to take strong painkillers to get through the day, and I thought It was upsetting to spill ebm, but not as soul destroying as pumping and pouring down the sink. feel like I have failed in some way giving ff. I know that its not true, and I dont want to offend anyone who ff I stress I am not against it as dd was topped up with ff. Just feel guilty.

CaptainCaveman · 07/01/2009 20:32

dizzy I do declare that I LOVE YOU and so will ds1 when he gets the parcel

Off to the pub and dh is tugging my sleeve to make me go out NOW!

Catchup tomorrow x

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 20:33

I am going to put DD2 on fecking ebay, am at my wits end, I don't know what to do to be getting her to go to sleep at nights

she's currently up there banging about, kicking her wall etc etc

aarrgghhhhhhhh

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 20:39

No1 {{{{HUGS}}}}} Remind me again, are you seeing a doctor of sorts about correcting your back problem? I just hate the way painkillers make me feel. You won't have to stay on them long will you? {{{{{HUGS}}}}} And thank you for the kind words. My down moments are usually over silly things for example this time was appearance. How stupid is that?!?

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 20:41

I'm going to try and catch a quick nap before dinner. be back later.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 20:42

Its not stupid. I am the same at the moment I am sure I am getting bigger and hate myself a bit atm. Dh says I am being vain and there is only me who can do something about it. men eh!!

Yes I am seeing chiropractor. They help me a lot,but not had this pain before. I suffer lower down lumber area usually. I did pilates before dcs as this is great for core strength. Hopefully going to try again.
