oh albs hvs can be so kind and sensitive can't they . Cheeky mare. Discount the stupid charts - H is happy, healthy, wees and poos ok? There, nothing to worry about . Repeat the mantra my baby is an individual not a sodding chart.

Well, still waiting for british gas and now the frigging curtain pole has fallen down in our bedroom ON TO DS' COT!! Bloody good job he wasn't in it at the time! . I'm going to sulk....

Miamla · 12/01/2009 16:07

what?! are we not meant to be giving them chocolate fondue and haribo every lunchtime?? i knew i'd get this weaning thing wrong!
albs from my experience the best advice i ever got was "ignore the hv". If they'd had their way, DS would have been on formula from 4 weeks because they reckoned i didn't have enough milk to keep such a big baby going!
if you're worried, i'd get a second opinion from someone else. your DS is a couple of weeks older than mine, isn't he? well i reckon my DS will be close to that in a couple of weeks

dizzydixies · 12/01/2009 16:11

oh dear, I fear I may have lit a fire on the baby names thread

should know when to hold my own bloody tongue sometimes

poor Dylan, her bottom two teeth came through fine but cutting this top one is causing her some distress - she bit me 3 times this morning whilst feeding too

teething powders and calpol may be getting brought out very soon

dizzydixies · 12/01/2009 16:11

ALBS shall endevour to go and get Dylan weighed tomorrow to put your mind at ease - am sure she's about 3 stone now

alittlebitshy · 12/01/2009 16:13

i think h is 5 or 6 days older than t miamla.

dd was as huge if not huger but i still doubt myself lol.

thanks all - feel better!

dizzydixies · 12/01/2009 16:16

shall come down and squish your HV like a little bug with my big baby - there, feel better now, if a little childish

CaptainCaveman · 12/01/2009 16:17

where is the sodding gasman?

Miamla · 12/01/2009 16:20

albs, you're his mother and you therefore know best!

alittlebitshy · 12/01/2009 16:21

dizy sympathy - did she draw blood? H drew blood once and that side is ultra sore. I have to stop feeding at right time - ie move nork out of his way when he comes off else he goes back on just to bite to tell me no more. ARGH!

dizzydixies · 12/01/2009 16:24

CC he's at mine have a cuppa, a wee sit down and a chat

she did it this morning when she was still sleepy ALBS but if she does it again I'll need to rethink letting her get sleepy in the boob so she doesn't do it by accident again [meep]

Miamla · 12/01/2009 16:30

oooh, not looking forward to get chomped on by DS!

i've got an impressive love bite on my arm from DS! still not sure how/why he managed it!

dizz, you're mean! poor CC is cold!

albs, that doesn't sound good at all.

alittlebitshy · 12/01/2009 16:40

being v tempted by bag like anna and also a buggy snuggle cos cosy toes that came w silver cross doesn't go in wash - how mad is that?

cyteen · 12/01/2009 17:03

albs what a bouncing baby boy you have there - that's all you (and idiot HV) need to know imo

i shall be getting my piglet weighed on wednesday so like dizzy i expect to be able to provide reassurance

you can see it tomorrow if you're good and ask nicely!

dizzydixies · 12/01/2009 18:21

VG not so much of a ruck as a retort about a comment made re my DD2's name

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 12/01/2009 18:27

dizzy can I join in foot stomping too.
I am definatley not going now after all my wittering
I have drove today and back not good at all, better but not enough for long drive.

I so hope you have another meet up in the future, and I wish all going safe journeys and a wonderful day. [smil]

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 12/01/2009 18:27
Sad
no1putsbabyinthecorner · 12/01/2009 18:30

oops at the ham.

My dh once went out and the next morning asked me if he had a takeaway. I said no.
When he opened door to go out the next day he found it on the wall.....and ate it for his dinner

albs you have done great, I agree ignore the HV they get my back up. I will be going to get Marcus weighed tomorow and am dreading that he has dropped again.
He also has his last set of jabs on wednesday.

cc about boiler and pole. hope it gets sorted soon.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 12/01/2009 18:32

vg I also will be witness to you telling your dh,as I remember didn't your dh have the same response as mine. something like this...

Buckets · 12/01/2009 18:32

Albs I would take the gamble and wash the current cosytoes at 30degrees - how runied can it get? Otherwise, TK Maxx had some cool black buggy snuggles cheap before Christmas, might be worth a look.

Weather in Bristol supposed to be nice tomorrow (what are the odds?) so will probably walk from station unless the right (pushchair-freindly) bus pulls up right in front of me.

Off to see what's Dizzy's done on the names thread...

TwilightSurfer · 12/01/2009 18:52

VG I remember you telling dp too.

No1 you'll have time to meet-up another day.

ALBS did your hv lady think you were planning on giving ds icecream? or frosting? or cadburys??? I would have just thrown it back at her with, "but i only produce pour honey in these boobs!"

traded up my cellphone today. i now have a blackberry storm. can't even explain how stupid i feel now trying to figure out how it works.

alittlebitshy · 12/01/2009 18:59

my dh has a new phone - a t-mobile own G1. I want one too.... i dropped my phone today - it's not broekn but the casing is loose. Shame - may have to get one soon nb i didn't drop it on purpose

AnnVan · 12/01/2009 18:59

Hello everyone. Very puzzled here. DP has not rung me yet to say he's on his way home. Have tried to call twice now, and he's not answering his phone. grrr.
