Solihull is not great for public transport. It is better to choose Coventry or Birmingham, both have fast train links from London and the North.

If most people would drive my offer of open house still stands, i am just outside Coventry practically on the M6..

JKS not aware of any evidence that breech babies need help. They need to be left alone, not handled too much on the way out or they will start breathing with the head still inside. According to Mary Crnk a breech needs to birth itself.

Have read Awen's post and the thread. Must say awen's post did make me feel like mother inferior, I do not think she posted it very well. I am still not a great fan of blw personally and there is not much 'space' for puree weaning on mn at the moment.

also, when nathan gets overhungry, which happens a few time recently, I am getting used to his new apetite ( have started buying big petit filous. he will eat a small one and look at you expectantly , yeah, where's the rest) he will scream and scream and as soon as i push the spoon in he will go a yes food and chew quickly. Well, not sure what that looks like from the outside...

MM - Will happily meet at yours if people want to. Will speak to A bout coming with K if you like too? If this happens though will have to be a weekend.

simpson · 12/01/2009 22:13

Madmouse - DD is getting the same for her tea and makes this awful growling noise low in her throat as if to say "mummy hurry up, where's the rest!!"

Coventry or Birmingham sound better

Lilyloo · 12/01/2009 22:16

I bb4 believe me miles away

LuckySalem · 12/01/2009 22:17

Lily - technically your only 2 hours away from birmingham you know!

Lilyloo · 12/01/2009 22:19

ooh 2 hours would be good for me then!!!

LuckySalem · 12/01/2009 22:20

see, see. Where there's a will there's a way!!

Lilyloo · 12/01/2009 22:23

ok date , place ??
We did say Jan for lo's birthday but maybe pushing it now!

simpson · 12/01/2009 22:24

When are we doing this in Feb?

I have a few dates I can't do due to hospital appts etc.

LuckySalem · 12/01/2009 22:26

I think Jan will be pushing it now and I dont know about everyone else but Xmas has really skinted me!

We need to get in touch with Mixedmama as I'm pretty sure she was trying to arrange a meet up too so I want to make sure she sees this and doesn't think i'm stealing her idea. Not to mention EVERYONE else!!

MM - You got a big house!?

Well MM has invited us to her house if we want which would be cheaper otherwise we can find somewhere in Birmingham to go to?

I'm thinking middle of Feb on a Saturday. I can do any sat except 21st (Dp's birthday on 22nd) Time hmmmm, to give time for all the morning routines how about we say about 12pm?

madmouse · 12/01/2009 22:28

LuckySalem · 12/01/2009 22:31

I've just left MixedMama a message on FB and said she has to come join in the discussion. Unfortunately I can't remember everyone's RL names Will have to hope they all get on here. I can't wait!!

MM - Want me to ask A? Does everyone mind if my friend and her DS come?

Lilyloo · 12/01/2009 22:32

I can do any really but may have all 3 dc in tow if dp working if that ok!!

LuckySalem · 12/01/2009 22:32

just seen this

simpson · 12/01/2009 22:37

Lucky - saw it on news earlier. She was a professional ice skater and never knew anything was wrong with her

I am going to try and not bring DS as don't want to be coping with 2 on a long journey by myself DS "mummy I need a wee" etc and DD's buggy not fitting in loo on train!!

Although I know if DS did come he would have a great time!!

Lilyloo · 12/01/2009 22:37

MM is that Bedworth ?
Just looking up route only 2 hrs from me!

simpson · 12/01/2009 22:37

LOL at church hall

LuckySalem · 12/01/2009 22:38

Simps - If you can and want to bring DS I dont see why not but of course make life easier for you - we dont want a stressed out simpson! lol

madmouse · 12/01/2009 22:38

Lucky that is soooo sad

No mention of a father either, poor little girl.

Baby was born in John Radcliffe, would hazard my consultant and Nathan's consultant were in charge, they are the high risk team for jobs like that.

Would love to see A and K!

Lily please bring all kids if it means I get to meet you! If you can't make it I want to see you in May (w/c 23rd, halfterm?) when we go to Keswick
