That little monkey!

10 messages, wow lg&t see how much you're loved

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 09:10

It's a stubborn one!!

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/01/2009 09:13

see - its NC's fault ! DD knows she's only sticking around until she comes out so she's taking her time because she doesn't want her to go

Now NC - say you'll stay and help your mate out

And you can't go anywhere until you tell me which side of the weetabix is the right one (it bothers me everyday of my life)

C'mon baby gin xx

JamInMyWellies · 14/01/2009 09:19

oi gin baby out you get!

largeginandtonic · 14/01/2009 10:52

Am back, they see me again next Weds if she is still in.

All well, she is engaged at least, am phoning the midwife for a sweep later. Secrtely hoping she will examine me and i will be 5cm >

Should 'man up' really, she is only 3 days late after all

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 11:12

Oh blardy hell. How are the other dcs LG&T? Is dd really excited?

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/01/2009 11:29

Man up fgs, you can wait at least another week can't you? I'm just not sure we can...

TSM/Noam, now you're telling me there's a wrong and a right side to the weetabix? Does that apply to Weetabix manufactured in Kenya or are we exempt? Does it affect the milk absorption rate?

J still not climbing...

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 11:32

TMAM - I'm not sure L is a climber, tbh. She climbs onto chairs and things, but I've never caught her on the worktop or anything like that. She is more of a runner, really. Always tripping over because she's in such a rush all the time.

NimChimpsky · 14/01/2009 11:35

Beat him TMAM. Or get the staff to beat him. Twill not do. Would putting food on top of something work? Mathilda will scale a smooth wall if there's an apple at the end of it. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter as some aren't climbers and therefore aren't smashtheirnoseonthefloor-ers either.

There is absolutely a right and wrong side to Weetabix and if you can't work it out from looking at the fecking things then there's no hope for you. Just don't eat weetabix in my presence and get it wrong or I'll implode.

Off for a run. Size zero here I come.

[bitter/sarcastic]

LG&T, man up!!

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/01/2009 11:35

Hoorah! J is a runner too. He especially likes to play football. He is about as round as a football. He also likes to run away from me, normally at bath time or bed time.

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/01/2009 11:37

[smug emoticon] Been for a run.

an apple! You have GOT to be joking. Make it a piece of cake or ten and then it might work.

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 11:39

TMAM - Seriously, if the boy doesn't want to climb, who gives a flying feck? Just one less thing to admonish them for in my book.

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/01/2009 12:02

Pink, you take me too seriously

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/01/2009 12:06

I just want him to be the best. At everything. Otherwise how will he succeed in life?

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/01/2009 12:08

Actually what I really want is for my internet connection to stay connected for longer than 30 secs at a time, so that I can download a new version of itunes that won't take 9hrs and 25 secs, so that I can get my iphone up and running. Now is that too much to ask?

MmeJaffaB · 14/01/2009 12:16
MmeJaffaB · 14/01/2009 12:18

Anyway TMAM of course, you have NO chance with J as H is already THE best at everything, NO room for another.....Sorry!

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 12:49

Dahling, you take me too seriously.

I can't even contemplate the thought that L will not be the best at everything. That would be ridiculous. Of course she will be. By golly, she already is!

NimChimpsky · 14/01/2009 13:37

I just want M to be happy.

elkiedee · 14/01/2009 13:54

TMAM, think yourself lucky that your toddler isn't climbing - enjoy it while it lasts.

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 13:54
NimChimpsky · 14/01/2009 14:04

It does PJ, I don't think anybody's being serious are they (apart from TMAM who expects a lot from her Plantation Boy and will whip him silly if he doesn't deliver).

M's potty training herself btw. I refuse to do it till the weather improves. M is removing her own nappy, using the potty and making every attempt to clean herself. Bugger successful, self-reliant is where it's at.

Went for a run and about died. Had horrid cough/cold for a week and the run's finished me off.

Anybody else had a letter from Child Benefit. It's the paper version of Me Too.

NimChimpsky · 14/01/2009 14:06

PJ, did you get my email btw? Hotmail's playing silly buggers.

AprilMeadow · 14/01/2009 14:46

Well done to M on starting the training herself, as you know Ella has been doing it for about 3mths now and thinks she is a very clever girl. I would have preferred waiting until the summer - perhaps she knew something i didnt

Ella is a climber i think she was a monkey in a previous life!

LG&T crossing fingers that you are holding your baby by next Wednesday x

Pinkjenny · 14/01/2009 15:03

I'm deadly serious.

I did get your email ta Nim, will reply in a min.

L knows that the potty is for wee wee and poo poo, and sits on it fully clothes. Er, that's as far as we've gotten. My bf potty trained her dd when she was about 2.4y and she was done in a week. That's my tactic, I think.

L's speech is coming along massively. When I went to nursery last night to collect her, she took my hand and announced, 'this is my mummy' to all and sundry. Very cute indeed.

She does not, however, sleep. Ah well, can't have everything! However, I am starting to get v. worried about CP now.
