largeginandtonic · 13/01/2009 15:18

Nah the kids will hover. They are every 13-15 mins. Not getting worse though Oh ffs. Come on baby!

largeginandtonic · 13/01/2009 15:20

Tilly this is the most valuable advice i can give you, SHUT YOUR EYES Honestly B leaps around and climbs on everything. I really can't be bothered telling him 'no' all the time, besides which the older ones teach him to do it anyway.

I feel far too comfortable

NimChimpsky · 13/01/2009 15:25

I'm only still on MN till you've popped Gin. I'm leaving as soon as Dorcas is here.

My contractions started at every 13 minutes and it only took 26hrs, an episiotomy, failed ventouse, failed manual rotation and em cs to get her out. So, the end's in sight...

TSM, M's a climber. Quite clever with it too, she stacks things up to get even higher. LG&T's right, close your eyes. Teach her to climb down too. You can't stop it.

Gwan Ginny. Or wait till Thurs as it's dh's birthday then and you can call her Dorcas Joshina.

largeginandtonic · 13/01/2009 15:32

Dorcas quite like Joshina.

Teaching them to get down is key, they will do it anyway.

They are not stepping up enough, may bounce on ball. Hve to get H from Playschool in a minute maybe a quick march?

Poo to it all i say.

NimChimpsky · 13/01/2009 15:41

Aww, enjoy it. It's the last time you're going to have a baby wriggling inside you. Don't wish it away.

Dorcas ate some marmalade, Dorcas ate some jam...

Great name.

I'm hanging around for you to pop this arvo and trying to catch up on emails. PJ, I'm composing an email to you in another window...

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/01/2009 15:56

Go baby pasty, go baby pasty. Go Go Go.

MmeJaffaB · 13/01/2009 16:21

lg&t, Oh my god, I'm actually grining with excitement. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, wooooo hoooo, I hope this is it for you. Get bouncing!

Hope you are feeling better Mrsnotreallythere.

Pinkjenny · 13/01/2009 16:27

Mrs Whositwhatsit - I'm still waiting for my email.

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/01/2009 16:32

MrsThingumywhogimeflip, do I get an email as well?

AprilMeadow · 13/01/2009 16:34

YAY fingers crossed for you LG&T

Pink, they are lovely!!!

OMG i have the devil as a child! Jack locked, yes, locked me in the garage yesterday and then ran away! I was only in there a short time as i screamed like a banshee until he came back. Then last night whilst i was at college he decide to tip the bath water over the side of the bath and try and flood the floor (he did have a little help from his sister for this) and then started pinching her leg and when dh told him to stop he would just laugh and do it again. We are totally at the end of our tether with him. Just dont know what to do to make him see that he is being so bad. When he is nice he is lovely. And to cap it all off Ella just copies him

NimChimpsky · 13/01/2009 16:36

Right PJ, email sent. It's a long one I warn you.

Whositwhatsit? I'm Noam Chomsky but with a primate flavour. You ill-educated halfwits.

TMAM, do I have to send you serene emails with talk of mantras and spiritual learnings because I can't be buggered with that today.

NimChimpsky · 13/01/2009 16:40

((((((Oh AM)))))) It's a phase. Firm and consistent with him.

MmeJaffaB · 13/01/2009 16:50

Maddies phase still hasn't ended.............

Sorry AM, I know how you feel.

Tilly, J is a climber, I think I was moaning about it a few mths ago on here. The close your eyes is good advice. j climbs, falls, still climbs, still falls and guesse what?.....climbs again.

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/01/2009 17:12

Do you think there is something wrong with my child? He doesn't climb. Is he too fat do you think?

Monkeylady, any old email will do, I'm just not fussy.

Anymore twinges Ginwoman?

NimChimpsky · 13/01/2009 17:16

at too fat. Too sensible maybe. Some climb, some regally await their servants who will do their bidding for them...

I will email you TMAM but be warned I run on about absolute nonsense.

JamInMyWellies · 13/01/2009 17:16

Oh AM you poor love, cant offer advice as it seems I too have a spirited one.

Tilly another climber here am forever pulling him down from various precarious places at the mo his favourite is the kitchen worktops.

Tillyscoutsmum · 13/01/2009 17:22

Thanks all - glad she's not the only future mountaineer amongst us She was rampaging across the tables at toddlers to do and one of the organisers commented that she'd never seen any of the children climb on the actual tables before. Made me feel a right freak.

I looked out of the shower today to see she had climbed on the toilet, reached across to the sink and was holding dh's razor in one hand and the loo brush in the other

Sorry AM but at him locking you in the garage.

"Bounce Gin, Bounce"

MmeJaffaB · 13/01/2009 17:26

When J is hungry she slides a dining chair across the floor to her high chair, climbs on to the dining chair and then steps across into her high chair. lol I really should remember to feed her ya know?

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/01/2009 18:53

Right, that is it, I am going to teach J how to climb on things tomorrow. I won't have him not keeping up with his peers. [worried like Pink does emoticon]

He really is quite fat though.

And breath Ginny, breath....

What a pickle J is April.

MKG · 13/01/2009 19:27

Hello ladies.

I rather like Dorcas as name actually .

Cruz is a climber, actually the two of them are. I don't do anything to stop it, I just figure if they fall on their face enough times, they'll figure it out on their own.

LG+T I think you will have this baby tomorrow not today. I'm sorry to inform you, but that's the vibe I'm getting.

MmeJaffaB · 13/01/2009 19:29

Master...H was fat, very! H didn't climb. I don't climb either. Now no competitivenesss here please it's just not the done thing anymore. Apparently.

largeginandtonic · 13/01/2009 22:20

Stillhaving pain on and off, sometimes every 5 minutes for an hour then nothing. I had a bath and had 1, i never have them in the bath it always knocks them on the head.

elkiedee · 13/01/2009 22:43

Just posting on the thread so it comes back or stays or whatever on threads I'm on, really. NC, stick around even if it's just to lurk, don't de-register. Then you can come back if/when you feel like it. I don't understand what's going on and I'm not going to ask. Take care.
