oooh check you TMAM,

lg&t, 14th Jan, 7lb 9oz.

A is home, it's just a scratch, an expensive one no doubt. I haven't been hard on him, it's his car not mine, lol

largeginandtonic · 07/01/2009 17:24

DH making curry and will be having some slap and tickle later to shift her.

Oooh get you Master

MmeJaffaB · 07/01/2009 22:39

11lb 3oz then........ good luck

twelveyeargap · 08/01/2009 00:09

9lbs on the nose. And we're on season 4 of Grey's. They've only made 4...

Sorry about the diabetes MKG. I'd be gutted to have to give up sweet stuff. Poor you.

Scoot, I'm sorry for the money troubles. Any chance of you pooling your resources so you can both see what's coming in and out? I think it's far easier to keep an eye on things that way.

My children are complete snot bombs. It's not funny. I have green snail trails all over me. Have had to give up on the idea of seeing LG&T this week just in case we leave germs all over the house for the new girl. Boo. More to the point, I think they've both got a bit of bronchiolitis so we definitely don't want to give that to anyone.

Bought A some pull up nappies, plastic training pants, knickers and regular vests without poppers underneath. She was dragging the potty around and today until I realised too late she'd been trying to tell me she wanted a poo. Oops. She didn't manage to do anything in it today, but wanted to walk around bare-bummed and keep sitting on it. Might as well give it a go and see what happens. I bought that woman's book, MrsJB for some pointers. The childminder trained S years ago, so I haven't a clue.

O has been really unsettled the last couple of weeks and then this week he started rolling over, can get up on all fours ready to crawl (but has so far only managed to push himself backwards), can attempt to feed himself a bottle of milk or water (though most of it goes all over him), can hold himself almost sitting up, sits well in his Tripp Trapp and eats the rice cakes I let A give him. Better rice cakes than the biscuits and raisins I've caught her trying to feed him. I mean, where did all that come from? Last week he was just a baby-baby who didn't do anything and now he's "Active Baby".

MKG · 08/01/2009 00:17

I have had it! Who wants two children with cold from hell and pink eye to boot? Anyone. I'll send them in a shipping box. I'm coughing up a lung and all I want to do is stay in bed, but no I've got red eye snot, nose snot, and snot they cough up coming at me from two directions. I'm so freakin' happy right now.

Oh and my bet is that LG&T will give birth on January 10th and that the baby will be 8.5 pounds.

MKG · 08/01/2009 00:18

The one night I need a huge bowl of ice cream.

largeginandtonic · 08/01/2009 08:13

TYG nooooo not Bronchiolitis! That scares the bejesus out of me I hope they are ok. Keep them inside in a toasty house with bowls of water under the radiators. I makes me shudder to think.

I remember A crawling very early! She was all over the place an one of the first to move was she not? Her little bro is obvioulsy copying By 4 months all manor of things were being fed to B, i just shut my eyes

MKG hope you all come out the bug nightmare soon, it sounds hellish. We have diabetic ice cream over here and diabetic chocolate, not sure the ice cream would send but i could package up some chocolate for you. How horrible not to be able to scoff what you like while pregnant, that is half the fun. Are you craving Marinara this time? I forgot to say i love the name you picked before too Very sweet and goes nicely with the boys names.

Scoot when do you find out about the exam results? Soon i hope, awful to wait for things like that.

Good grief i have a "B has done a poo" sos coming in from the front room...

SOH how was M after her jab?

Pink how was L?

Back later

Pinkjenny · 08/01/2009 09:33

How was L?

Nope, I'm confused, LG&T - what do you mean? Do you mean the measles jab? It's not til Saturday.

TYG - they're watching the end of Grey's series 5 in the states. My HR Advisor is an expert in all things Grey's. Goodness me, he is crawling early - L didn't crawl until the day she was 9mo. She spends most days tripping over her own feet, always in such a rush. Sorry to hear they're poorly. L has only been back in nursery two days and she already has a runny nose.

MKG - sorry to hear you're feeling rough. Look after yourself.

No news here. L had a bloody awful night's sleep last night. We went to my aunty's house as my cousin turned 22 yesterday, and L had smarties, chocolate buttons, garlic bread, jelly tots, biscuits and chocolate cake. Every time I turned my back someone was giving her something else to eat. I wish they'd all been with me rubbing her belly at 2.30am. Grrrr.

AprilMeadow · 08/01/2009 09:50

TYG sorry to hear that the bubbas are not well. I think both of mine were just starting to get active at about 5/6mths - now you need eyes everywhere

LG&T fingers crossed that your birth pattern works for you today - would be very weird if it was a Thurs or Sat.

Pink what a nightmare with the food overload. We get really pissed off when people just give the kids stuff 'because they asked' they arent the ones that have to peel them from the ceiling or change the sheets coz they have vommed everywhere.

MKG you poor thing, i hope you all get better super speedy style. What a bugger that you cant have ice cream

Am in the count down to dh's 30th birthday party and i am so excited! On paper it looks amazing i just hope that when it all comes together that it matches my expectations.

Have had about a week of the kids radiators not working and their rooms being like igloo's. Thankfully after the plumber being here for 2 days we have heat and new, bigger rads in their rooms as the ones they had before werent big enough for the room size. Was touch and go as to whether we needed a new heating system!

Jack has his mmr booster this afternoon - i hate having to take them to those sort of appts. Got to think of a suitable treat for him afterwards.

Themasterandmargaritas · 08/01/2009 11:40

April, thank goodness you are all warm and cosy again! I don't mind giving the babies their jabs, they scream for a nanosecond that's it, but with the bigger ones it's heart wrenching, dd had to be held down by two other people and ds1 was sooooo good but it was still very upsetting I'm holding your hand. A big treat after always helps.

Sorry about all the poorly babies. And the poorly MKG.

Pink, I'm slight because J often has those things to eat And he never gets a tummy ache or bounces off the walls, I think he must be habituated

I've checked and we are deffo on the start of Season IV Grey's here, but I am dead excited to know there is a season V.

I'm very pleased with myself because I have done some techy thing whereby my emails from yahoo can go straight to my outlook so I don't need to be online to write them. It's only taken about 10 million years for me to discover you can do that. Its all in preparation for the arrival of my......iphone!! Now TYG I need you tell me how much you love yours.

Pinkjenny · 08/01/2009 11:43

TMAM - I think it was probably more to do with the fact that she ate them between 6.30pm and 8pm when we left, so they were probably a bit rich and sugary for supper! I am still loving my BlackBerry - you don't realise how many junk emails you get until they come through one by one!

Tillyscoutsmum · 08/01/2009 12:30

Hello all and Happy New Year

Sorry to hear of sick dc's etc. We all had sickness bug just before Christmas but are ok atm (touch wood). T is a tantrumaholic - she's driving me mad (but is very cute and lovely with it)

C'MON BABY GIN - I'm going for next Wednesday, 9lb 12 oz

Oh - there are a few wedding pics on profile for those who couldn't/wouldn't trawl through all 400+ on the website

charleymouse · 08/01/2009 12:56

Right better frame of mind today.

Sorry for not posting individually as not got a prayer of catching up so will generalise for today. Loving all the new pics by the way.

We were at Center Parcs for New Year and did not have a villa with wi-fi Grrrr. Our own fault, we went with SIL and family and booked basic to start with then gradually increased spec across year but ended up quite a walk away from centre and no wifi. Plus we had the DCs in our room so was a tad crowded. Also left my phone charger at home so had flat battery. (April I realise you have texted me.)

G was a nightmare he had 2 new teeth coming in and didn't feed massively well, resulting in me getting mastitis and feeling like death warmed up. Think the mastitis also came from me being pregnant BFP on Monday knew I was pregnant as over a week late just hadn't bothered testing. Started bleeding Monday night and now BFN.

Trying to be positive and think well at least we are conceiving but tis a tad hard. Am off work as the mastitis is giving me chills even though I am running a fever. Breast pump has just arrived and will be off pumping as G only feeds bedtime and during the night usually, DD tells me it's empty and even though I have discovered I can now feed myself it does give me a crick in the neck.

Hope you are all well, have been to see the nurse today as new patient medical required, weigh less than I thought Hoorah, bp 100/70 and everything seems ok so feel quite positive there. G needs his MMR though just have to wait until he isn't full of snot me thinks. DD due her preschool shots as well, 2 jabs I beg of you. Bribery needs to come into play here I think.

Does anyone (LG&T) have any advice re school applications. We are doing DDs application and have to put down why we want this school (not our catchment one) anyone have any handy tips?

Glad to see most of you are well even if our Bubs are all snot monsters. Don't you just love that mark on your shoulder that denotes "I am a mother" here check my shoulder if you don't believe me.

Have missed you all and will endeavour to catch up better, twas my new year resolution dontchyaknow.

Thank-you Secret Santa for my shower set and lovely pillar candle, it is very nice and thoughtful of you. I shall be smelling all beautiful and by candle light shall only look size 10 12 14 oh sod it 16.

What did everyone else get from SS?

Pinkjenny · 08/01/2009 12:59

CM - so sorry to hear about your MC. Look after yourself.

I got a gorgeous hat and pair of earrings from my SS, and I demand to know who they are from.

twelveyeargap · 08/01/2009 13:00

I have found a nanny to come and help me next Weds, Thurs, Fri. I am going to do a humongous clear out of the house. DH is going skiing on Friday until Tuesday, so I have plenty of time to go to the dump with things behind his back.

Have been busily ordering plastic storage crates for the loft and clear plastic sacks for the big stuff like toys etc. I am cleaning all the baby things we're finished with and storing them until I have enough for a nearly-new sale stall. Can't be farked with ebay unless it's a big thing like a buggy.

What a glamorous life I lead. Seriously though, I'm actually quite excited about the prospect of being clutter-free.

twelveyeargap · 08/01/2009 13:19

Oh I'm sorry, I cross posted. So sorry Charley.

Tillyscoutsmum · 08/01/2009 13:23

Oh Charley - so sorry

AprilMeadow · 08/01/2009 13:25

Charley I am so sorry to hear about your mc. Sending you lots of hugs xx

I have n idea who my SS was from - it was a lovely heart shaped candle holder and tea light with some lovely bath salts. Now who was it from....?

MKG · 08/01/2009 14:39

Charley--I'm so sorry

MKG · 08/01/2009 15:26

So I'm covered in snot and I don't know if it's mine or kids'

Mateo and I are on the recovery part of it, which entails a lot of coughing and nose blowing. Cruz is just starting out so he's on the pink eye, runny nose end of it. Dh is on the mend as he's taken every medicine known to modern science.

On a positive note, since being sick and starting this low GI thing I've two pounds since last week. Woo hoo!

MmeJaffaB · 08/01/2009 15:48

Sorry Charley. ((hugs)) x

MKG, sending you healthy vibes.

lg&t sending you labour vibes.

AM is demanding, quick own up or run for your life.

Pinkjenny · 08/01/2009 16:01

AprilMeadow · 08/01/2009 16:06
