You OK CM? Was short and sweet for you?

New Pics of our winter wonderland on profile. J has just loved it, first time snow for her.

Pinkjenny · 06/01/2009 16:33

J is beautiful, she really is. Obviously, they're all gorgeous though!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 06/01/2009 17:01

Oh ffs i've had enough, BH all frickin day. Tried to nap and they woke me up just like through the night. I am sure i will have another 2 weeks of this...

Just made a HUGE lasagne to feed the 5 thousand, they are all tired and grumpy and will be off to bed for 7.30. I plan to mooch in a lush bath and give birth later. DO YOU HEAR ME BABY!

Hi everyone apologies for the grump.

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/01/2009 17:16

AprilMeadow · 06/01/2009 17:24

Anyone want a very naughty/horrid little girl? She has been awful today. Ignoring me, helping herself to things, taking her pants off every 5 mins arrggghhhhh

largevirginbirthandtonic · 06/01/2009 17:31

Master my baby is NOT a pasty Especially a ginster pasty...

Hey all.

My apologies to my secret santa, but I just got it posted today.

I feel like crap today. This bug is killing all of us, but it's lingering on me the longest. Oh well. Off to the pile of laundry that has built up during this plague.

JamInMyWellies · 06/01/2009 19:42

Lovely photos MrsJB.

LG&T book yourself in for a spot of accupuncture it did the trick for me. I reckon she will be Jan 17th and dead on 9lb.

AM maybe we could put E in a room with A and they could cause havoc together. Poor L is having to get used to feeding while I am dashing about rescuing A from doing something dangerous.

AprilMeadow · 06/01/2009 20:10

JAM that would be interesting!

I found it really funny what i would do whilst feeding Ella and how i would hold her compared to how i held/fed Jack. With him it was as if he was made of glass but with Ella she was flung around /balanced on something etc

MmeJaffaB · 06/01/2009 22:05

A & I have just realied we overdosed Mads at bed time. I gave her 10mls of calpol when she came to say good night, he didn't know and gave her 10mls of medised up-stairs. She'll be Ok won't she? just checked her and her temp has gone. nervous

largevirginbirthandtonic · 07/01/2009 08:16

Her ETA is next Monday 12th. Phin is the only one who came on time, the day before her due date >

MrsJB the pics are fab! I love a blanket of snow like that and children so rarely get to see it now. It was a sure thing for me when i was small, we did like in Scotland a lot of the time i suppose.

Jam does A head bang? B does this. If we tell him off he throws himself on the floor and bangs his head off whatever surface he happens to be on. He then looks at us like we are evil and comes for a hug!!! I have never in all my parenting life seen anything like it. I (of course) send him away with no sympathy but he still does it! A few weeks a go he was doing it so much he had carpet indents on his head!!! I find the whole thing bizzare. He also screams at the top of his voice when he is cross. The child has me flumoxed.

Another night of niggles although not as bad as the last night. I have a busy day today as dd has her Orthoptics appointment and then i have the midwife. Her app is for 2 people so will be about 2 hours over lunchtime when B is at his happiest not. H will not be able to go to playschool so will have him too. It's not like it is the hospital with a maternity unit either!!

Hoping dh can join me there from work >

MKG sorry you are feeling rotten still, pregnancy knocks your immune system and makes every bug harder to shift. Build yourself up with a tonic and lots of veg and fruit.

Master can you imagine giving birth in that heat Nooooooooooooooo. I would need 12 fans on me, i throw the duvet off in our sub zero temperatures!

MmeJaffaB · 07/01/2009 08:32

Sub Zero, you can have some of that here, it's -9 today, snow is still here but no more, dh decided to go to work as the roads looked better out side our house. He has just phoned to say that he skidded out of control and hit a house, ffs! He's fine, the car is a mess apparently for how slowly he says he was going, The house is up for sale and just scratched the crepé so hopefully the owners won't bee too arsey. He's such a dick sometimes, I know it's not really his fault but so god damnnn annoying.

Maddie is fine BTW.

lg&t, Hope today goes ok, wish I was near you to help out a bit, fingers crossed N gets away from work.

Pinkjenny · 07/01/2009 10:10

LG&T - I'm going for 16th Jan, 8lb 2oz. L doesn't headbang, she lies on the floor and kicks her legs. Oh, what fun.

AM - I can't wait to see E and J, particularly as you 'claim' E is now a little challenging. I don't believe you.

Mrs JB - glad Maddie is OK. L has her measles jab on Saturday (yes, we went with the singles ), so am anticipating a temp then, although she's been fine with all the other jabs. Don't be too hard on Dh, (and I don't say that often), when someone crashed into me a few weeks ago, M was acting like it was my fault! She went into the back of me, ffs! He was saying the same, 'It's so annoying, one more thing to sort out'.

Jam - Bf is exactly the same with Daisy, and her dd1 is playing up something rotten, poor Daisy just gets shoved back in her moses basket while bf goes and sorts dd1 out! She is the most placid baby I've ever come across though!

We're all fine, nothing to report. L never shuts up though, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, constantly. When I picked her up from nursery yesterday she shouted, 'Mummy, how ARE you!' Very cute. Her speech is getting really good, although I'm sure is completely average, I'm clearly convinced she's a genius. She has a wonderful little Scouse accent too. Dh loves it. Not.

Themasterandmargaritas · 07/01/2009 11:11

I predict she will come this weekend, because I am going away on a girlie yoga weekend and all the babies always arrive when I am away. She will be smaller than you all think, fgs, she will be 8lbs 1. Just.

MrsJB poor old dh, that must have been quite scary for him. I know it's difficult not to get annoyed because I would do too... It's very difficult to overdose a littlie on medised/calpol, never fear next time. Talking of ice, the first episode of Grey's was a corker, based all around ice. I think you might like it Pink.

Pink every time you talk about baby Daisy I keep thinking of dd. I'm relieved you are getting her jabbed this weekend, it doesn't matter if it is done in single or triple what is most important is that it is done. She is not likely to get a temp straight away, but maybe a week later she may have a mild mild dose of measles, ie upset, fidgety, slight temp, possible rash. DON'T WORRY, just dose her up. My first two had no reaction at all, J, had a reaction, so you never know...

No head banging here, don't go giving him ideas now.

He is talking a lot too, and counting. Definitely G&T (along with Lexie) that one.

Jam, how is it with J being back to work? Are you coping? Have you got friends coming to help or take A out to give you a break?

Good luck at the docs LG&T. I'm never giving birth again do you hear, in the heat or not.

Pinkjenny · 07/01/2009 11:13

What series is it TMAM? I lurve Patrick.

JamInMyWellies · 07/01/2009 12:28

LG&T thank god he is not the only one, honestly this child of mine is like no other I have ever met and I nannied for 10yrs and worked in schools. I too am of the mean mummy brigade and I just ignore it in the hope he will stop doing it.

TMAM can I come on your yoga retreat sounds fab. It is actually easier now J is back at work think cause I just have to get on with it al, when he was home there was alot of faffing.

PJ never got into Greys as I watch so much shite fantastic telly already I couldnt fit another one in.

MrsJB glad Mad is ok.

Themasterandmargaritas · 07/01/2009 14:48

Errmmm it is the latest series, brand new, so is that 6? Patrick is looking even more dreamy. But you can't have him. He is way too old for you.

Jam, pack your bags, leave A here with dh and bring L for all the ladies to coo over. I'm not actually very good at yoga, I just wanted a weekend away from dh and the dc.

Get this, while I was at a junction in the car, someone turned in their car and yelled 'Hello Gorgeous'. I looked furtively around and couldn't spot another car, nor person so I assumed it was me Now that sort of thing doesn't happen in Nairobi and it certainly doesn't happen to me.(probably it happens to you everyday Pink doesn't it?) At that point I was quite glad I had enormous sunglasses to hide my huge bruiser of a black eye which I got after a tussle with dh a tent pole.

Gin lady, have you had that baby yet?

Pinkjenny · 07/01/2009 14:50

Oh yes, TMAM, all the time. Love it, though - you foxy chick, you!

Patrick is definitely not too old for me. Oh he's gorge. I'm only up to Season 4. I've come to Grey's a little late.

Themasterandmargaritas · 07/01/2009 15:02

We are ahead of the game out here Pink, you know what those South Africans are like.

Foxy??? Moi??
