Ooh how exciting a new conservatory - very posh
We have a little table and chairs from IKEA for the kids and when we lived in the old house it was J's dining table and messy play table all rolled into one, although was obviously cleaned before he ate....

JAM you will be fine. Get the jaffa woman so send you some duck tape and instructions on how to attach A to the wall/ceiling and you will be fine

Just been tweaking my assignment and realised that i had so many grammatical errors and missing words that i have spent half an hour going over and over it to make sure that it makes sense.

Just going to eat a choccie or two and watch some tv

night all x

MmeJaffaB · 05/01/2009 08:17

Duck tape on it's way!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 05/01/2009 08:33

Oh Jam i was thinking about dh being back at work this morning too. I have no idea how i am going to get them all up and out for the school run if the girl is attached to me all the time.

I picked up one of those posh Peanutshell baby slings last week in TKMAXX for £20 instead of the usual £46 so am hoping i can sling her and feed her and get on with everything else.

We got a wii Fit from my parents for Xmas, i stood on it... no kidding my Mii (little person called Mathilda i made for all the games) went from being a cute looking thing to a blimp It called me obese and weighed me in at 13 and a half stone. That is normally what i am at this stage but my god it is a shock to see. I am not going on it again >

AM well done on the assignments when does the course finish?

Oooh Jenny a new conservatory, that will be lovely in the summer. I must come and visit one day, any plans to decamp to Meadow castle again?

No need for sleep bootcamp in the gin household the kids are all knackered and need a few 730 bedtimes this week.

As well as the pregnancy insomnia i now have 2 hamsters in the next room to contend with... the twins had a hamster voucher from FC that was cashed on Saturday. They are sweet but MYGOD the fecking wheel. I disconnect it and connect it again quick before they wake I lie there for hours in the night mulling things over. It is very bad. I keep thinking i must sort out things with my sister and getting all stressed about it

School run calls, now how many people will comment on lack of baby do you think???!

MmeJaffaB · 05/01/2009 08:56

Ah haven't you had that baby yet?

AprilMeadow · 05/01/2009 08:56

The course finishes at the end of March, which is good but also very scary as that means there are only 11 weeks left of the course and i still have 2 assignments and the main course project to start and finish.

J has started playing on our wii again and is a pro at bowling. He was only a few points behind dh and about 20 points ahead of me I think i will be building in a few sessions on the wii fit to try and lose the 4lbs i gained whilst stuffing my face with all the christmas goodies before they went out of date. I need to somehow lose the cupboard full of chocolate, sweets & biscuits otherwise i am going to end up the size of a house. I cant resist anything sweet so might have to start sending dh in to work with it.

Was quite excited to see a little sprinkling of snow outside this morning. What did everyone else get?

SKYTVADDICT · 05/01/2009 09:08

Hello and Happy New Year to all.

Not been around much - did I miss anything exciting?

DDs back to school tomorrow but not looking forward to the school run again. Only doing 3 days though because poor DD2 having her tonsils out on Friday and then has to have two weeks off. DD1 takes herself to school anyway.

Still deciding whether to take Lewis with us to hospital (not even asked if I can yet)as obviously DD2 wants me overnight with her as I am sure will Lewis (at least twice!! ) DP thinks he can manage but I am not so sure - Lewis will wake Callum up screaming by the time DP gets a warm bottle - we tried Saturday night with a carton at room temp but he wasnt having any of it!!

Anyway, just off to ring Abby about getting a 0% balance transfer card as seen on GMTV. Too much spending over xmas.

AprilMeadow · 05/01/2009 09:36

on the phone to the Baby Annabell Dolls Hospital as i have a broken pram wheel lol!

undercovermummy · 05/01/2009 10:57

remind me why i thought potty training was a good idea.......
sending her in with 4 changes of clothes this afternoon, i wonder how many she will go through?

AprilMeadow · 05/01/2009 10:59

No answer from the dolls hospital i still keep laughing about it! I thought they were joking when they told me the name

MKG · 05/01/2009 13:54

Tumbles in, in a stupor.

I haven't slept in three nights. My glands are swollen, I'm congested, and my throat is killing me. To top it up with GD I can't eat the loads of ice cream I usually would to medicate myself.

Oh dh and the kids are sick also, so pretty much my house is a death trap.

fourlittlefeet · 05/01/2009 14:08

Hello, popping in for a rare visit . Bored of waiting for baby to appear, and visited on Jan 09 thread by Jam so thought I'd see how you are all doing! Just been reading our very first thread from May 07 when all the babies were born to try and get some perspective on things to come. Really took me back!

JamInMyWellies · 05/01/2009 14:13

MKG poor you we had it all over Vhrimbo and now the bubba has it. Can you take paracetamol? How is the GD are you managing to regulate it?

So after a relatively manic morning the baby has now been asleep for 3hours (my boobs are going to explode). A is also asleep. You cant beat a good walk in the freezing cold fresh air to make them sleepy.

Also A's tantrums have reached a new level when he is told off he has taken to banging his head on the floor the child is off his rocker.

LG&T glad to hear the little lady is still safely inside sound like you had a lovely Christmas loving the FB photos did the twins dress themselves stripes and tarten obviously future fashionistas.

AM well done on the assignments.

PJ a conservatory you are posh.

SKY I reckon they would be fine with you taking Lewis tell them you are ex BF.

Have a good arvo everyone.

MKG · 05/01/2009 14:20

Well Jam that's funny you ask, because I can't meet with anyone until the end of the month because that's the first appointment I could get. I guess I am. I'm doing my best to do a low GI diet, but with being sick, I'm sure the copious amounts of orange juice I'm throwing back aren't helping me.

MmeJaffaB · 05/01/2009 17:18

IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!! The kids are out side in the dark throwing snowballs at A. Rural France will come to a standstill I tell ye! Just checked the weather, due to snow on and off ALL night. Bet we wake up to wet, slush and rain. lol

TheGreatScootini · 05/01/2009 18:11

Snow here too.Well at home.I am at work where it is just farking cold. And of course the boiler has broken down.I am expecting a consignement of heaters at 9pm.I bet they dont come.Meanwhile the customers are shivering around the gas fire in the lounge trying to keep warm.I beg of you..

Sorry you are feeling ill MKG..Sending you are virtual hot toddy..

I bet PJ will start referring the conservatory as 'The Orangery' and serving cakes off doily covered plates Oh for a play room.I am drowning under a sea of plastic tat.

Remember Jammy-this too will pass, this too will pass when A is doing his head banging. Not easy with a littley and a tantrummer, I know.Is knackering actually.

Hi FLF..Are you really due in Jan?That has gone so quickly!

Sling sounds like a plan Gin lady..Thinking about your logistics its the only plan really Was there any contact with sister over Christmas?
FWIW I fell out with my brother spectacularly over Christmas and about 3 years of annoyance came out.Not sure we will be speaking for a while..Is horrid. But I am not backing down because he needed telling,(just maybe not like that, oops)

Poor DD with her tonsils..very painful..send her our love and can she eat ice cream at all? Will send her some virtual Haagen Dazs..

Well I had a big blow out with DH last night when he told me I would have to pay all the extra child care costs (£240 a month) now Mum and Dad arent coming any more.It turns out he is in far worse debt than I thought and just cant spare any more money for the CM.He gets paid more than me and I am just about making ends meet my end iyswim.I truly hope he has passed these exams now as we will certainly need the resulting payrise. If he has all will be well.If not we will be in bother.I mean we wont starve but things will be tricky for a while.I am so with him for not being honest. Its not the debt really that bothers me-its the lies.

Plus we will not be getting a new carpet anytime soon.I am destined to live with that shag pile forever!

Day 1 of detox.Am ruddy starving!

OP posts:
TheGreatScootini · 05/01/2009 18:18

Oh the bootcamp had mixed results..L went to bed like an Angel with no bother at all,and slept through.Amazing.
M woke up at 1am and screamed so much at our attempts at controlled crying that she made herself sick. She ended up in with us.So one out of two isnt bad.DH on bedtime duty alone tonight whilst I am at work.Good Luck with that..

JamInMyWellies · 05/01/2009 19:19

Scoot know exactly what you mean about the lies rather than the debt. DP is just the same I have no idea what his debt figure is but its not pretty. We never have spare cash.

JamInMyWellies · 05/01/2009 21:20

Scoot sorry I just realised that my post was a bit mememe. Sorry you are having a tough time, is there any way you can change your work schedule so the girls are not at the CM so much?

elkiedee · 05/01/2009 22:10

Just dropping in with the news that flf is talking about setting off for hospital, fingers crossed that this is it for her.

For me, I'm 37 weeks today and have my last day at work tomorrow.

Scoot, eek at the debt. At least we had those rows years before any kids

AprilMeadow · 05/01/2009 22:17

thanks for the update Elkie

MmeJaffaB · 06/01/2009 07:13

Scoot, I'm sorry sweet, It's times like this that although we are skint I'm thankful we don't owe a penny anywhere. Actually I think I owe bf 5? Big sacrafices made for that though, like NO house and moving abroard. What will you do about CM?, was it heat of the moment from dh? Fingers crossed he has passed the exams. x

Have just got up for the school routine but won't even be waking the kids, A has gone back to bed, it's a winter wonderland here. About 3 inches of snow fell over night. We shall be making snow men and doing angels in the garden. Will take a pic and post soon before the kids destroy it's virginess.

Ohhhh good luck FLF, thanks Elkie.

MmeJaffaB · 06/01/2009 07:14

Shiteeeeee, yes I do, I've just remembered I owe AM 70 odd squid. I told you I'd forget, right will sort today for you. xxx
