OK, so we can all easily refer to what we need to know as and when we need it, I've started a separate thread.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JammyOLantern · 26/10/2008 12:54

These were the original questions from Elvira:

  1. Are there any colours you absolutely love which would be good to include in a project?

  2. Are there any colours you cannot stand or which will clash with any of your decorating schemes ie no purple for bathroom-destined gifts

3)Are there any smells or flavours you love

  1. ok - a bit predictable but are there any smells or flavours you cannot abide/make you puke etc

  2. are there any habits or hobbies we should bear in mind?

  3. are there any habits or hobbies you never indulge in - ie cooking, drinking, DIY etc

  4. are there any logos or characters you love or loathe?

  5. do fragile objects have a safe haven?
or will they get smashed to pieces within 5 minutes?

  6. do you have any phobias that might be relevant ie buttons etc

good questions Elvira. TBH I have been very lucky in that the person I got fits with the idea I had, so no questions from me. And I have to confess I may end up buying something anyway

OK, your questions...

RiallyEeRiaee · 28/10/2008 12:07

do you like letter-writing?
DON'T MIND EITHER WAY

do you wear hats? YES
gloves?YES
scarves?YES
slippers?YES

what dimensions are you?
ie s/m/l XL-XXL
shoe size 7/8
glove size DON'T KNOW, LARGE LADIES i SUPPOSE
etc etc

is there anything you need? SOMETHING TO MAKE ME SMILE/FEEL WARM INSIDE

RiallyEeRiaee · 28/10/2008 12:08

Ah, thought of one.

Do you prefer your gifts to be useful or just for fun?

JammyOLantern · 28/10/2008 12:27

OK, in answer to these other questions:

I like to be able to use a present. I tend not to like those gimmicky things that you can get, that are maybe fun for a couple of hours and then you're left with a random object you don't want anymore.

I am XXL size and have size 6-7 feet. I do wear hats, gloves and scarves. I have loads of scarves though so prob not really a good idea for me. I do like slippers but am notiriously fussy about them, so again prob not a good gift for me.

I like letter writing, but tend not to any more as no one ever replies

I can't think of anything I need particularly. But I don't need toiletries as I've still got loads stashed from last Xmas!

And yes, I have started, just.

more questions!!

do i write letters; not often but i love stationary and would like to get back into journal writing.

what size.......M/L I would say, S for hats and gloves and i have itty bitty size 4 feet.

I wear slippers but until I can find a new pair of the ones I have at the minute I'm happy with my old tatty ones.

There is nothing that I actually need (does anyone really?)

I have toiletries coming out of my ears at the minute as well.

I like presents that are either use or ornament.

And I haven't started yet, but I have a cunning plan
