Bramshott - have passed an opinion on your floor search

caz - great news - well done James

No ideas on eating here - mine eat really well - now sleep on the other hand

I have been told I am now blooming, but dh thinks I misheard and they said ballooning

SharpMolarBear · 08/10/2008 20:00

I am about to start on a baby-fest (can't think of another way to put it!)
The wife of a university friend is due in Nov/Dec. You and elkie are due in Jan/Feb and 2 friends are due their 2nd in March! I can't wait - I love the anticipation! And apart from you two, I don't know the sex of any of them.

liath · 08/10/2008 20:08

Fingers crossed for your mum's scan tomorrow, SOL & hope she gets the result quickly.

Eddas, no great advice - mine have been generally good eaters. If they go off their food I tend to offer something like yoghurt.

Brains is dead, I can't think fo anything even half-way interesting to say. All the financial stuff at the moment just seems a bit surreal, I can't really get my head around what is going on.

Bramshott · 08/10/2008 20:10

Thanks Oooggs! Does your new floor look nice now it's down? How much like slate does it look (if that's not a cheeky question?!)

oooggs · 08/10/2008 20:38

I like it, you can see it on profile as James is stood in the kitchen on his school uniform pics.

We have it in the kitchen & utility, it is soft and cushioned so no good for heels. It is the same colour as our real slate hearth, but probably too uniformed.

so katy - fancy joining us/them?

POTC - has now contacted me, during part of my awake time

oooggs · 08/10/2008 20:41

bramshott - I have also got round to emailing you - I am on a roll!!!!!!!!!

geordieminx · 08/10/2008 20:41

Hey ladies.

Thinking of you for tomorrow SOL.

Talking of babies - I popped into my old, dp's current work today as a friend was bringing her babies in - 2 week old twin boys - 5lb each.. they were SO tiny!!!

I have started the mammouth task that is re-decorating ou living room.... sanding down the doors and paintwork at the moment..

In the olden sams Charlie days I could have rattled it off in a weekend, but just dont get the opportunity so going to have to do it over a few weeks - just doing an hour or two each night... cant wait to get it finished though as already have cushions/rug/other bits.. cart before the horse?? No

Sexonlegs · 08/10/2008 20:52

Evening

Eddas, K has days when she eats like a horse and others where she doesn't eat much. I hate to say I don't worry about it, and as long as she is drinking water/milk, let her get on with it. If she refuses a biscuit or something she loves, then I know I have a problem!! She is also pretty petite - 22 pounds on our scales. I sometimes find that if I give her too much of something she won't touch it - so start small and keep adding. She eats dry cereal at breakfast, and if I put a bowl of it in front of her, she hands it back, so I drip-feed iyswim!

Dippy, enjoy your quiz, and thanks again for sending the doll. I have won one from ebay, so now need just 1 more.

Oooggs, pmsl at ballooning! Men eh? They now how to boost your ego.

Hi Liath. Long time no see. How are you?

SMB, lol at ignoring your advice

All ok here. Been to aerobics again tonight and just had the yummiest steak and chips with peppercorn sauce - washed down with a glass of red wine

How are we all this evening?

Bramshott · 08/10/2008 20:54

Thanks Oooggs - the nappies are in O's room at the moment, so I will check what there is tomorrow and email you.

Hi SOL & GM!!

geordieminx · 08/10/2008 20:55

C got weighed today - 27lb with clothes on.... big fat bloated

Sexonlegs · 08/10/2008 20:55

Fuck. Both B and K awake and crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 08/10/2008 20:56

Hi GM A good weight indeed Need it for the freezing Scottish winters!!!

Sexonlegs · 08/10/2008 21:31

Where are you all??????

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/10/2008 21:33

thanks for asking SOL - not much news yet, they were called in for a 'personnel review' but have still not been told if they have jobs after 24th . I'm really worried about him, he's not the most confident guy anyway and this could shatter what little he does have. Plus the loss of the £200+ a month is going to hit me quite hard.

How long has he been there POTC? Such a worrying time.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/10/2008 22:06

I was trying to work it out earlier and couldn't remember but he started there around the time I started a new job, which I think would have been my job pre-joe, so June 2006, or could possibly have been the one before that, which was March 2005, so over the 2 years anyway

sol - your dinner last night sounded very yummy (not fussed for the excersise though) - thinking of your mum today

I have been up and down all night (we sleep on a different floor to dcs) Erin teething, Jack coughing and James afraid of the dark but more scared of mummy so went back to sleep easily settled!

gm - Jack is big and heavy cuddly as well

I have just eaten a whole malt loaf

CaptainDippy · 09/10/2008 10:08

Question. Well, more of a ponder really
Fridays are casual wear at work. I have an interview tomorrow afternoon. I've ok'd leaving early with my boss, who knows why. I haven't told everyone else yet and I'm not sure I want to until I'm completely sure of what I'm doing. I think they've probably worked it out though.
So, do I go in my casual clothes then get changed before I leave? Or do I wear my smart clothes and just ignore any comments? I wear skirts for smart so can't really pass my smart clothes off as casual just by wearing a casual top or something.
I'm thinking that if I get changed before I leave work it'll be more obvious what I'm doing, whereas if I just go in like it they may well ignore it, or just put it down to my usual blonde dim-ness and say nothing

Sorry, that was another one of those times where the contents of my thoughts just tumbled out onto my post
