Hi Maveta nice to see you!
owww pulleda muscle in my neck, am in agony. Any miracle cures?

Sexonlegs · 05/10/2008 21:11

Mav, lovely to see you. Do not know how you cope working full time. Glad to hear the yummy N is well. x

SPB, loving the new name! I would recommend large amounts of red wine for your neck! To be drunk, and not rubbed in btw

geordieminx · 05/10/2008 21:55

Oi SOL - big or little wheelybug?

Sexonlegs · 05/10/2008 22:06

You called my dear

Erm, not sure what size it is; my db bought it for B when she was about 3, so am assuming it is the bigger one, but it seems quite small to me.

Sorry, hopeless answer!

Right, off to bed, so see you lovelies tomorrow. x

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/10/2008 22:17

Oooggs - have answered your thread but yes, Tesco size 6 are the way to go!

Eddas - I know exactly what you're meaning but I can't help but let out an evil cackle at the thought

Do you know it is virtually impossible to watch intellectual tv and MN at the same time? Thank heavens for Sky+

NEWSFLASH - THURSDAY @ 9PM, C4, 90 NAPS A DAY - WATCH IT!!!

Evening all

Hope teething/poorly babies all sleep better tonight.

George has had 5 poopy nappies today and been a bit off his grub. I think it's teeth as he keeps poking round his mouth with his tongue. Stopping bf has been going well - tbh I don't think I can have been producing much as my boobs are fine and I haven't fed G since 5am on Friday. Dh's Swiss cousin was surprised I was still producing milk last month as she said her supply stopped when she got pg with dd2. I don't think that's the norm though. Is it?

I fainted this morning whilst on my knees being sick into the loo. Thankfully I didn't whack my head on anything hard and porcelain.
Have felt a bit off all day.

My ipod has finally finished downloading podcasts so i'm off to bed.

Goodnight x

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/10/2008 22:29

Can't really say what I'm about to without explaining, but don't want any fuss from it, please just ignore. I was, it was a while ago, I'm not now, not my choice but things happen for a reason and I've got through it ok.

Leaky, I found that my supply decreased and it stopped J wanting to feed as often, which led to us stopping bf and I didn't experience any over-fullness or discomfort either.

And Leaky - LOOK AFTER YOURSELF!

I had to read that message about 20 times to think I understand what you said POTC. Glad got trhough it ok

Hi to everyone

i'm shattered today. Spent last night fiddling with the preschool accounts and before I knew it i'd been there 4 hours DD been a star this morning, she got up with dh(6-6.30) and watched a dvd, then when ds woke she went and got in his cot(i have told her not to as it may tip over, but she still does) but she kept him amused for half hour or so and I didn't get up until 7.45ish, so pretty good really!

I'm not even sure how I spent 4 hours doing them all I was doing was numbering the invoices and checking the colum they've been entered into on the spreadsheet And trying to work out how to write up the year end summary so that it'll mean something

Right, off to read the begging letter for new committee members. AGM is 2 weeks tomorrow and it still hasn't gone out

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2008 09:30

It took me ages to figure that out Pillock. So sorry xx

Bramshott · 06/10/2008 10:14

Aww POTC - I think I get what you mean. You poor thing. Glad you are okay.

My car battery is bloody flat this morning . Just sitting here waiting for the AA (luckily we have homestart). It's not the end of the world today, but I did have a full day of errands planned and now it is shafted. I had to ring school to tell them I wouldn't be in to hear reading, and I really hope that N wasn't too upset. I just hope that it is a one off and not the start of my 'V-reg has done 210,000 miles but is very useful and also good to have a baby in' car starting to die on me!!

Nice to see you Maveta!

Umm, not much else to report except a fab night out on Saturday. Went to a concert my brother was in and saw several people I hadn't seen for a very long time i.e. in my pre-baby existence! Felt quite like a young thing out on the town!!

CaptainDippy · 06/10/2008 10:56

As I have already said on FB, Bramshott - Arse! Hope it gets fixed quick!!

Poor you Leaky - take it easy love! Well as easy as you can when you are PG and running around after a little one all day. xx

I'll pop the doll in the post tomorrow SOL - no worries When the party?

P gone down for nap this am, no probs. Am mighty relived

JellySnakes · 06/10/2008 12:11

Hi all

Whizzing by quickly as I am up to my neck in clothes to pack! We are off on holiday on Wednesday so don't have much time to MN!

Anyway, hope everyone is well. See you all in a week or so as I am not sure I will be back much before Weds

Better You?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/10/2008 13:13

Hello

Been chatting things over at work again, even more set on my decision now but my boss is still hoping I'll chnage my mind. It's great to feel so valued but it soooo won't making leaving any easier!

Maveta · 06/10/2008 13:28

hello again, grabbing a bowl of pasta at my desk so thought I'd say hi again

hi!

SOL - Full time work isn't so bad, took a while to get into a routine and helps that N is happy at nursery at gets collected at 3pm by dh. Looking forward to working pt again though. And often secretly wish dh earned more money so I could always work pt - sigh - maybe one day...i'm sure I'm not alone..

Back to the grind, kisses to all of you and a big [not a hug] to POTC

CaptainDippy · 06/10/2008 13:34

Good for you POTC xx

Hello again Mav!!

Right, off out, byeeeeeee ......

Bramshott · 06/10/2008 15:39

Oh fecking 'ell - car battery thing turned into a saga - AA man came at 11, jump started it and said it needed a new battery, but the first place I tried (despite saying "oh yes that's fine, come back in half an hour") didn't have one, then I rush back home only to find I have missed the man who was coming to measure the windows, then off again (too scared to stop the engine!) to 2 more places which don't have the battery I want, stop by shop to grab some lunch for O (engine still running) and then on to the expensive VW garage in Farnham where they DO have the battery I need, but claim it will take 30 mins to fit when actually it takes 1 hr 10, and costs £130 . So, back here at 2.30 and half the day is gone! I was so organised last night - I had a plan, and wrote down everything I was going to do today. And of course now I have done none of it (and have used up valuable time on here moaning about it) !

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2008 19:05

Hi everyone
Frustrating day bramshott
Glad you're feeling better Dippy
I'm fine, much better night here (although not good!) and shoulder feeling quite a lot better and got lots of sympathy at work!

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2008 19:12

)%&*^& Just been reading that "how much do you earn?" thread! I thought we were well paid for what we do but...

Pesha · 06/10/2008 19:17

Hi spb - glad you had a better night and shoulder getting better

Bramshott - at £130, last battery we got cost £40 and took J 10 mins to fit, should be really simple job Unless you have a particularly complicated car. Well I say took 10 mins for him to fit, that was after he spent half an hour trying to find the old one to take it out!!

You may remember me saying before that I never put D in vests because he has a habit of fiddling with his belly button. Well the rule has now hanged to he must always wear a vest. His habit has moved south and he has taken to sticking his hand inside his nappy to fiddle with his willy and pulling his willy out the top of his nappy so that when he pees it goes everywhere .
of Dippy and other girl's only households (until they reach 5 13 and teenage behaviour starts and then very glad to only have one! ).

Am thinking of having a halloween name this year, should I be Peshasofrottingflesh or similar or would this confuse ellie people who mispronounce Pesha with a short 'e' to rhyme with pressure?!?

Pesha · 06/10/2008 19:19

Is that a short 'e'?? Have confused myself now YKWIM anyway!
