I see trouble brewing, M has long had plans to marry his friend A from nursery. They are really sweet together and have gone to the same school. Now D has come in from another nursery and M and A are both really good friends with him. I sense her having to choose between them when it comes to marriage

Oh, and Pesha - can I post M to you please? He is getting right on my nerves, keeps asking when he can go to see N again You could post him back next morning?

Evening off to bed in a mo.
Have had a pukey old day of it. Opened dishwasher this morning, threw up in kitchen sink. Both of G's poopy nappies today made me sick. Went to NCT coffee this am- threw up. Had to practically throw G at Rhythm Time teacher this afternoon so I could run for the loo. I want it to stop now!

POTC - Mark sounds good with M and J

Caz- what a fright you've had! Hope you're both alright.

SOL - about your gran, but what a great age she lived to. Hugs to you all.

SMB - hope T feels better tomorrow and you get some more sleep.

Brain melted, had other things in mind to say but I've forgotten everything else.

Goodnight.

hi potc or should i say ange??

work brill but so busy. full time and travelling all over scotland so long hours so less time to MN!
C is fab - she is a real parrot these days - she has started to call dp and i by our nicknames. mine is the same as my MN name - so a blond toddler careering around shouting "weeonion" to get my attention is far from subtle.

how is M & J and I?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 16/10/2008 21:51

J is up. Last night he screamed for hours, nothing would stop him. He woke M up so I put M in my bed (which I wasn't in because I was up talking!) and shut the door to J's room. Eventually he went to sleep. Tonight he started the screaming thing again and I'm not risking M getting woken up so I've brought J downstairs. He's just wandered into the kitchen and helped himself to a chocolate muffin . Something tells me he's got no plans to go back to bed for a while!

M is loving school and J is loving muffins

And J & I are doing well in the Ange household, I can tell because I am in her mind - mwahhahahahah

Night Leaky x

Glad work is so good WO. C sounds wonderful. Absolutely love that last photo of her on your profile!

Izzy is good thanks. Talking quite a lot now. She started saying yes please with a firm nod of the head when she wants something. Going to get her hair cut again tomorrow, it's all in her eyes, I hate having it cut she looks more grown up every time!

AngeG · 16/10/2008 21:57

Hope J settles soon POTC. You should have an earlier night tonight...can't believe you were up til then talking!!

PMSL at you being in my mind!!

They are NOT toddlers, OK?!

Pesha · 16/10/2008 22:15

Oh and yes, you can post M down as long as you send some of your muffins with him to get here by the morning because its 'cake day' at N's school tomorrow and I've only just remembered and we have NOTHING!

elkiedee · 16/10/2008 22:50

Sorry to hear about your gran SOL

It must have been the smell of all that baking that lured J downstairs POTC.

Don't drop your laptop in the bath while mumsnetting!

I've no idea whether I've put on weight or not - I didn't really last time - 4 lbs between 12 and 40 weeks. The scales are buried somewhere under loads of junk and I don't feel compelled to try and dig them out for some reason. I'm showing more this time than I did until 7 months last time. But I started off fatter this time.

SharpMolarBear · 17/10/2008 08:27

Sorry to hear about your Gran SOL - how did B take it?
How many weeks are you now leaky?

JellySnakes · 17/10/2008 09:56

Morning all, I am back

We had a fab time on our holiday, shame to come back to the cold weather as the daytime temp in Cyprus was up to 30 degrees! It was lovely. Am very tired though as F ran us ragged the whole time we were away being extremely busy, and wasn't desperately fussed on the long flight either. Ds had a fab time with most of his time spent in the swimming pool, but his swimming has come on really well as a result.

I haven't caught up much but wanted to say, SOL, so sorry to hear about your gran. Sounds like she had a lovely life filled with loving family all around her. Hope you are all ok, and that B took the news reasonably well xxx

SharpMolarBear · 17/10/2008 10:09

Wlcome back JS

cazboldy · 17/10/2008 10:24

Welcome back Js

SOL - sorry about your gran, but glad she had a good life xx thinking of you xx

Pesha - your poor neighbour, but that was a bit of a fright for you...

POTC - I don't know how you can stay up all night, and still be functioning I am exhausted atm and I am always in bed by 10 pm!

Parents evening went very well no concerns at all, and Caitlin seems to have settled more now too They are off around another friends for tea tonight - they have such a busy social life! Still it means no schol run for me this afternoon, so there is a possibility that I might actually get the house tidied today!

Molly is ok, and I am just about resisting the urge to cut up all of her food into teeny tiny pieces!

Pesha · 17/10/2008 10:57

SOL - so sorry to hear about your gran but very glad you got to see her when you did. Have you told B yet?

JS - lovely to have you back and glad you had such a good time.

CAZ - it was very scary for a couple of seconds. With a police officer standing on my door at 7am ish saying they've had a call about welfare all sorts of things went through my mind. Although they were very quickly replaced with concern for my neighbour when I realised what it was all about. Maia was a bit worried by it all too and was asking lots of questions on the way to school, as well as being relieved for my neighbour that she is, so far, ok I was also relieved from a selfish POV that I didn't have to tell M she had died as I think that would have really upset her. That sounds awful doesn't it?! Hopefully you all kwim!

Got Nathan's test results this morning and all clear! Blood count was borderline, everything else negative or normal. Feeling very relieved. Was talking to a friend the other day whos son had similar symptoms to N and so did her nephew. Turned out her son has diabetes but they put her DN's symptoms down to a growth spurt. Am wondering if that is what it was with N, it would explain the high ALP levels last time as that can be caused by sudden bone growth. And would also explain why he is seeming suddenly so much better the last couple of weeks if growth spurt has stopped and ALP levels are now normal again.

Right have to get on with packing and cleaning although only so much packing I can do as I have run out of big boxes J was getting me boxes but apparently the line that used big boxes has now ended and all he can get are piddly little ones. Have posted a wanted on freecycle so hopefully get some there. If not moving is going to take a lot longer!!!
Only 1 week today Aaaaaaaaaaaargh

SharpMolarBear · 17/10/2008 11:10

Fantastic - so glad to hear about the test results P, must be such a relief!
Lol at your DC's social lives caz, and glad parents' evening went well.
We have debt collectors after us (well, after a business that isn't us!) not sure how worried I should be?
T slept well last night, still a bit unsettled each time he woke but only for a few mins, is now napping so hopefully back to normal.
DH has a little friend coming round tonight is nice to see him but he has such a loud voice / laugh, I know T will be woken up every half hour Might as well just go to bed myself at 9 and have him in our room. Oooh could take the laptop too...not such a bad idea. And a glass of wine and some choclate. And I'll bribe them with a new DVD to be fairly quiet.
I'm really looking forward to it now

cazboldy · 17/10/2008 14:57

So glad Nathan has the all clear pesha You must be very relieved !
