OMG Caz, you poor thing! That must have been so scary! So glad that Molly is okay now.

Gin?!? For you, not for Molly I mean!

cazboldy · 16/10/2008 15:36

Oooh I'd love a large one......

but I have parent's evening!

AngeG · 16/10/2008 16:35

Caz How scary for you. So glad Molly is ok. Hope you've stopped shaking now.

Pesha - So glad N is much happier now. It's so horrible when they are unhappy. Thanks for the advice about Jake. I think there is an element of focussing (sp)on the negative. We've already had parents evening, but I spoke to his teacher today and she said that although he was on his own a lot this morning he had great fun making burgers out of the leaves with some boys this afternoon Anyway he seems happier and said he'd had a good day at school today
I've also invited one of the boys he went to pre-school with and his Mum over for coffee after school, so am hoping that will help too.

Hello Bramshott, GM, SMB and POTC

Off to change a stinky bum now!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 16/10/2008 17:04

scary caz

on a lighter note, when I logged in only the top line of your last post was in view, and bearing in mind when I left I had been talking about men, all I saw was

I'd love a large one...

caz, hope you;re both OK (Sure she is, less so you)
better go, stinky wafts for my attention

Pesha · 16/10/2008 20:19

Caz how scary. Gald she is ok now, are you having that gin yet?!?

Had a police woman knock on my door this morning. Answered and she looked a bit puzzled and said 'this is no. X, X street isn't it?' I said yes and she said 'oh we've had a concern for welfare call' 'they said all the lights were on but nobody...hang on' and then went and got in her car. In those couple of seconds after she said welfare and before she said about the lights all sorts of things were going through my mind. Turns out though that they wanted the house over the road where an old lady lives alone. Apparently her lights were on but when her neighbour knocked there was no answer so she had called the police. They ended up smashing a window to get in and she has had a stroke so in hospital now but saw a friend of hers come round to collect some things for her and he seemed fairly positive about her recovery chances. Very lucky that her neighbour did call the police or who knows what could have happened.
