RH - Glad appt went well and echo what MJ said about your worries being perfectly understandable given the circumstances but agree that unlikely you would have to wait so long if they thought it were anything that serious.
Dippy - glad your health is improving. Sorry about dh problems , we're all here for you if you need to talk.
Oooggs - hope you had a nice rest today and took things easy.
Elkie - glad D is ok
MJ - Yay for girly weekend! Very , not that I dont love my boys but, you know, they're boys!!
Eddas - D eats most fruit, loves walking arounsd the house with a whole apple, chewing it up to get the juice then spitting little chewed up bits all over the floor and hiding the rest of the apple under the sofa/table/cushion/pushchair to pick up and eat the rest of later Maia used to do exactly the same but at least now I have a dog to come in and clean up after him!!
Re childcare - I have no family that can help really, my mum is a teacher so has school holidays but TBH I'm lucky if she has them for just 1 day in the school hols and even then thats never all of them. All the rest of family work so thats not an option and no holiday club things here or nurserys that take older dcs so my only option is a childminder. Which has a lot to do with me training to be a teaching assistant so I have the same hols as them and don't need to worry. It also played a big part in me not taking the job I was offered earlier in the year.
Went to Clarks village today and got D his first proper shoes! Hes size 4G. Also got M and N some new school shoes while we were there, ended up spending over an hour in Clarks with measuring and fitting and Maia being unbelivably fussy and Dylan trying to escape out the door at every opportunity! Then got absolutely soaked and had to drive through massive floods on way home. Not a fun day. But D is very cute in his new shoes!
Phone rang in middle of writing this so apologies for any x posts if there are any!
