runnyhabbit · 15/08/2008 21:54

am having to sit on my hands because I've just been a reading a thread about how big tv's are chav

Sexonlegs · 15/08/2008 22:11

Hello.

All ok. Dh was hacked off as seemingly I was snappy with him and spoke to him dis-respectfully

Can't remember to be honest.

He said he is also fed up of me and B bickering - I am the adult and should take control!

Cue me saying that if he was such a parenting expert, then he could take over!

All resolved now I think, but am pretty cross. He doesn't have a f*ing clue as to what I do/put up with each day.

Sorry about that.

Dooby, good to see you

Thanks MJ, Runny, Ange,Oooggs and all you other lovely ladies for listening.

Right, better go to bed.

Sleep well and see you tomorrow. xxxx

AngeG · 15/08/2008 22:17

Oh dear SOl I have times like that where DH is cross about something I've done and I've no idea what he's on about! Hope it's all sorted soon. xx

at multi tasking Runny!

CaptainDippy · 15/08/2008 22:22

DH is so oblivious, he doesn't really get cross about anything. That's because he lives in LaLa Land to SOL. xx

Right, off to bed as I am knackered .......

mammyjo · 15/08/2008 22:26

Spoke to him disrespectfully ffs, what is it with men sometimes? It's true, they have no idea what day to day life is like with the children at home.
Dh and I were talking about it a couple of weeks ago and he was saying how it couldn't be that difficult, so I asked him how he felt when ds was being a pita and F was yelling. He said they could fry his head within a very short time - point made I think And he would normally have me around to field some of the crap too, whereas I don't get that luxury.

I am off to bed now, just wanted to check in that SOL was ok! Not that I am a nosey bint or anything
Night all xxx

AngeG · 15/08/2008 22:29

Night MJ and Dippy xx

Sexonlegs · 16/08/2008 08:15

Morning all

Hope you are all well.

Dh putting his parenting skills in to action today as I am buggering off to watch rugby at Twickenham!

[sol starts dribbling at the thought of all those thighs and buttocks in one place]

Hope you all have a great day, and will catch up later on. xx

Doobydoo · 16/08/2008 10:00

mammyjo · 16/08/2008 10:12

Hi Dooby, how are you feeling, bit brighter I hope

SOL, enjoy the thighs and buttocks

elkiedee · 16/08/2008 10:12

SOL, enjoy yourself!

oooggs · 16/08/2008 11:59

sol - have a great time - dh will soon see and as for bickering, ds1 and I don't stop

how you feeling elkie?

I was a mess this morning, dcs all slept through but dh woke me in the night to tell me to stop snoring I'm poorly with a cold.

Anyway I had a coughing fit, was sick and wet myself feeling ok now. MIL is visiting this afternoon so can entertain dcs

sick of the constant rain

mammyjo · 16/08/2008 16:44

Oh oooggs, you poor thing. Hope you have had a good afternoon xx

And I too am so sick of the rain, it has barely stopped all day here yet again.

elkiedee · 16/08/2008 18:46

I'm just very tired and suspect the acid problems that I had in first pregnancy are on their way back.

It's not rained here but apparently might well do tomorrow. We took D to the City Farm - it's a few miles away but it's on an overground train route and D loved it even more than on his first 2 visits. My dad came along as well and we took lots of pictures of D and the goats and other residents of the farm.

SOL, hope you had a good time at the rugby, and that your dh appreciates the challenge of being with your two daughters all day.

elkiedee · 16/08/2008 19:06

A thread for mammyjo here - you're not alone!:

evening, just wasting some time before our chinese arrives mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

sol, dd and i bicker continuously dh often comments but when you're with them all the time it just happens. I think i also forget how old she is. sometimes the things she comes out with are amazing and way beyond her years! Hope you had a good day at rugby. i'd love to go and watch England play one day

oh it' here, be back in a bit to finish my post

oooggs · 16/08/2008 19:36

eddas & sol - are you and your DD's alike in temperment & personality?

yum eddas we had roast

afternoon was ok

just had words with ds1 today he has: answered back (several times) called me an idiot, wet himself, weed all over the toilet seat, carried on throwing things when asked to stop, constantly asked for things went I popped to town this morning - aaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhh

when does he start school????????/

Eddas · 16/08/2008 20:07

very much so oooggs. I especially notice it when she is tired and being a pita, i am a nightmare when tired but I know it and do try and warn people

Sexonlegs · 16/08/2008 21:53

Evening all

MJ/Dooby, did it stop raining?

Oooggs, you poor love is all I can say re the sickness/weeing episode
Did ds1 calm down at all?

Elkie, sounds like you had a great day

Eddas, how was your Chinese?

Hope everyone else is well.

I had a great day at the rugby and got back at 8.30.

Dh has had a fab time with the girls and things seem to feel quite calm and relaxed - must just be me!

re B and me; I guess we are quite similar in some ways - not very patient, get wound up quite quickly etc. I know I need to keep a lid on it and try and ignore B, but it is so hard not to lose it, especially when I have asked calmly for her to do x and she is still not doing it!

Joyous

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/08/2008 00:57

Morning

Thanks POTC. I was trying to work out who it was!

mammyjo · 17/08/2008 09:58

Hi everyone.
I need a break. I am really tired, F wouldn't settle last night at all, finally went to sleep properly at 1am after copious amounts of milk, calpol and cuddles, and then was up again by 7am.
Dh and ds are back later, I might just hand over F to dh and bugger off out for an hour. I want to cry

Elkie, thanks for the link to the Gordon thread. Very funny, gave me a much needed laugh this morning. I am amazed you remembered that I have a thing for him! He is just lush, and someone made a comment about him saying a certain thing. I won't type it here as it is rude, but lets just say I wouldn't hesitate

mammyjo · 17/08/2008 10:15

Have just put F back to bed, hoping she will settle. I might try and get an hour myself if she does. Sorry for being miserable.

Sexonlegs · 17/08/2008 10:50

Oh MJ, can I offer you a huge hug? Hope F settles and you can get some rest. There is nothing worse than feeling exhausted. Hope dh gets home and you can have a break.

Hell here today. B is being an absolute nightmare and even dh is f**cked off with it. Not a nice atmosphere at all.

Better go. xx

mammyjo · 17/08/2008 11:36

SOL, you sound as cheery as me!!
Bit happier now, have had an hour plonked in front of the telly while F slept. She is awake now, but at least I have had a little quiet time!

Thanks for the phone call Runny xx
