PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 13:59

NL - nice idea about the passport, problem is, I didn't put it in a safe place, it's more embarrassing than that

I found it while we were tidying up one day, realised the photo was dire and hid it very quickly so new man wouldn't see it, now I can't find the bloody thing

CaptainDippy · 19/06/2008 14:35

Oh POTC, I did LOL at that!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 15:12

I think laughing at that is allowed, it is rather comical

CaptainDippy · 19/06/2008 15:19
Grin
NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 15:59

POTC - Ok - I've got it! What you need to do then is think - where would I put something that I never wanted to see again? Or alternatively and for your situation perhaps more likely - where can I put something that my man will never look?

Going on the last one I would say a) wherever you keep you tampax or sanitary towels, b) inside the posh handbag for posh stuff that languishes unloved at the bottom of your wardrobe or c) in a drawer with M or J's clothes - underpants for preference.

HTH

PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 16:34

M and J don't have any clothes in drawers, they live in a pile of clean washing

And my tampons are scattered around the house

(are you sensing order and tidyness are not traits I possess? )

PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 16:34

(and can you see why the passport is proving so elusive? )

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 16:51

we operate on the pile system too - if I actually get the clothes as far as the drawers I usually find we don't have enough space - so really it's a good thing that my washing pile resembles Jabba the Hut.

I can see why you are having trouble - where did ds2 put your keys that time? Was it in your shoes - have you tried there? Other suggestions - in your car, on top of the fridge, any kitchen drawer, bedside table, under mattress, under cot mattress.

CaptainDippy · 19/06/2008 16:51

I do love you POTC

Hey NL!!

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 16:52

Hi Dippy - was going to text you but haven't got round to it - how's stuff?

CaptainDippy · 19/06/2008 16:53

Not too bad. How's you and your lot my sweet?

I really need a wee .....

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 16:55

Don't let us keep you from your loo! I don't want to come between you and your bladder!

We are all fine. B 's very happy at nursery - she didn't cry once when I left her this week. Big girls are fine too and dh is coming home from London tonight - he's been down there for a couple of days with work. I like Thursday - no work tomorrow!

CaptainDippy · 19/06/2008 17:01

Hurrah! ....and I've been for a wee ..... aaaaah ... relief

Best finish Dysoning upstairs and go and get girlies from nursery .......

StealthPolarBear · 19/06/2008 17:02

POTC - when I do that it's somewhere in one of the kitchn cupboards.
Or under the sofa

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 17:03

Caz - you might be interested in this

Enjoy your dysoning Dippy - how are the lovely girls?

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 17:06

Dippy - just seen you've seen that birth story with the breech and the bath - it is amazing isn't it? Good for mum but the people who really get my respect are the midwives tbh - what a situation to drop into and work with in less than 10 minutes!

CaptainDippy · 19/06/2008 17:12

I know - I love looking through the birth annoucemnts - that one was a cracker!! The MW were incredible imho

Right, need to go and get DH and girls from nursery. Girls are all lovely, exhaustingly demanding, but lovely How are yours my dear?? xx

Hey SPB xx

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 17:14

My girls have just bought me a bunch of flowers from the garden 'because I am so lovely' - how sweet is that?

Re the chat yesterday about numbers and gaps etc - a big gap is great!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 17:24

I was utterly convinced it was on top of the fridge, or on the kitchen windowsill, but it just isn't there, no matter how many times I look

It has to be here somewhere

PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 17:25

very sweet NL

can I swap them for 2 stinky delightful boys please??

NorthernLurker · 19/06/2008 17:30

Well they're not stinky - but they can be stroppy....

If you thought it might be on the fridge - have you thought of behind the fridge?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 19/06/2008 17:35

I'll take photos after bathtime so you can see the real POTC dwelling, as Pesha will tell you, it's not a pretty sight
