Waiting for Have I got News to start, glass of wine, few HC chocs left

Been busy today, footy, school fair, all the joys of parenting primary-age children!

How are you both?

foxythesnowfox · 07/06/2008 20:59

oh, and Norty too

Sputnik · 07/06/2008 20:59

LittleMissNorty · 07/06/2008 20:59

Sputnik · 07/06/2008 21:01

Had a very boring day stuck in the house. DCs had cabin fever.

lackaDAISYcal · 07/06/2008 21:02

I'm good...a DC free day has done me the world of good

you sound busy foxy!

foxythesnowfox · 07/06/2008 21:05

at DC free day!

My biggest problem with the footy is getting the kids away from it. Its an uphill battle, with DP saying "oh go on, let them stay up..." grrr

Why the cabin fever Sputnik? All OK?

HellHathNoFury · 07/06/2008 21:05

Sputnik · 07/06/2008 21:12

no, fine, but weather is crap. Could've gone out this morning if I'd thought of anywhere to go, then this afternoon it rained.
Will try and get out tomorrow though.

Without DH here we're suddenly agenda-less

at child-free day

Sputnik · 07/06/2008 21:17

Very serene thanks.
I make a damn good curry, though I say so myself [smacks lips]

lackaDAISYcal · 07/06/2008 21:20

justbeme · 07/06/2008 21:55

Thanks for all your kind words Guys!
Im feeling just quite tired - also didnt help that i woke up at 4:30am and couldnt get back to sleep for an hour and half.

Have DD1 here with her 14yr old friend for the night. The friend has just thrown up - hope that was the one and only time

Oh well, at least I can have a Strongbow and not worry.

Izzybel · 07/06/2008 21:58

Good evening
Just been out for dinner at the local pub. I came back early to put DD to bed, but DP is still there .
Hope Holly is having a good night out (look lovely in those dresses btw.)
Daisy, have a good day tomorrow.
Norty, hope you're feeling ok
Jammy, well done on the weightloss
Fury, sorry that DH and DP are ill. You never seem to catch a break
Hope JBM and Natty are ok xx

Hi Foxy and Sputnik

DD had a hearing test last Friday and they said that her hearing is normal so that's one thing that we don't have to bother about as she grows up, yippee!

Izzybel · 07/06/2008 22:00

Hi JBM!
Hope the friend threw up in the loo!

justbeme · 07/06/2008 22:15

Hi Izzy!
No the bedroom bin - and big time just now in my sick bowl. Ewww!

Sputnik · 07/06/2008 22:16

Hi JBM Glad you're feeling better.

Puking teenagers eh. Had she been at the strongbow? (because I was at her age)

Hi Izzy too

Izzybel · 07/06/2008 22:22

Oh noooo! Yuck.
