pregnant brain = addled spelling...sorry!

Hi izzy......you have been busy.

An early Happy Birthday to your DD

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/05/2008 21:54

Daisy, we are going to france courtesy of tesco in sept! We have accrued £200 worth of vouchers in less than a year and all we do is get most of our groceries there and make sure we fill up the cars at Tesco garages.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 21:57

Hi Izzy! Good for you for doing it yourself.

With Tesco you can spend the points as cash off shopping, or you can buy things where the points are worth 4 times more. So, the Merlin Pass (which is Mdm Tussauds, Chessington, Legoland - loads of things) is £27.50 in points, or £110 to buy. Sainsburys points are good if you have loads, currently you can get an X-Box for 35,000 (pisser as I have 33,800 and DS1 really wants one. But he's not 8 yet so isn't allowed!)

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 22:00

gawd, how much do you have to spend in JS to get 35000 points.

Am definately swapping to shopping in tesco, and I'll make the odd foray to JS for GF pasta and bread. Tesco have more interesting vegetables as well, but their meat is shitty compared to JS.....oooh the dilemma.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 22:18

where did everyone go?????

DH is in the garden doing DIY with bits of wood and power tools. It is now dark. Should I go and make sure he hasn't severed a limb or just go to bed?

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 22:27

I'm farting around on here still. And watching Britains Got Talent.

My evening has gone again.

I'm heading to bed too.

Tell DH you are going to bed. Or not. Depends. He might 'want in'.

Izzybel · 30/05/2008 22:31

I'm still here but DP wants to go on the computer so I'll be off.
See ya later xx

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/05/2008 22:37

I'm still here, in bed on my BlackBerry! The dcs are finally asleep, one either side of me! Dp can fuck off if he thinks I'm moving dd so he can get in bed! What do I want sleeping next to me? A gorgeous little girl or a smelly snoring old man? Hmm...tricky!

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 30/05/2008 22:48

Your DCs must be very good sleepers holly, and you must be too. I just can't co-sleep and DD is a fairly light sleeper.

Just had a relaxing bath. Off to this wedding tomorrow. I know it will be lovely but I do find weddings incredibly boring, especially when you don't know anyone. If I get a free night from DD I don't particularly want to spend it making small talk with the bride's cousin. God, I'm a cow aren't I?!

Right going to bed. Hope you all have restful nights xxx

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 22:51

he's got no bloody chance foxy

he came in, limbs and arteries still intact....ah well, best put the insurance policy back in the box

I'm off to bed before he even gets ideas about wanting in.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 22:57

bumper, enjoy your wedding tomorrow.

Maybe after a day without you, DD will be more keen to feed?

FrazzledFairyFay · 31/05/2008 09:59

Morning all. I feel a bit the same about the wedding we're going to, Bumper - we know no-one except the bride and groom. I am going to try and treat it as a fun night out for me and Dh. Tbh, the DCs have driven me potty this week, so 24 hours without them will do me good as well - I may come back a more tolerant mum than I have been this week .

Have good weekends everyone.

lackaDAISYcal · 31/05/2008 10:30

for anyone who missed the emoticon debacle yesterday......

see here

ew ew ew ew ew

although I like the vomit one

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 31/05/2008 11:33

Does it work? [vomit]

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 31/05/2008 11:37

Clearly not!

Have good weddings bumper and fairy! I love a good wedding, mostly for the free food though !

My dp is an arse! He got home at 3.50 this morning after promising he would only go out for a couple of drinks. He has been asleep all morning, but I am getting my own back now by making him go to the shop and the bottle bank and taking dd to the common to teach her to ride her bike!

foxythesnowfox · 31/05/2008 14:56

Is it 7 pm yet?

I shouldn't be here.

Arse.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 31/05/2008 15:09

Hi! My sis has gone now and I've had a quick catch up. Sorry for those who've had crap times etc. Hope things improve soon. And hope the wedding is going well Bumper.

We bought the jamlet's birthday present from ebay, but did go and get her a load of toys this morning from a local toy seller who was closing down. Got one of these plus a doll, a water wheel toy, a bucket and a number of farm animals all for £16. We've let her have them straight away but are considering the horse as part of her birthday present really.

I think my sister enjpyed her visit, and that the jamlet enjoyed the extra attention. We sat by the river Thursday pm with ice creams, and my sis gave the jamlet the last bit of hers and she loved it And I'm sure jamlet's started saying "there" (as in "there you are") sometimes when she gives you things

foxythesnowfox · 31/05/2008 16:22

Sounds like you've had a a lovely time Jammy

I think LO says "Mumm-umm-muu-uum". I've heard her say it twice, both times when she's angry and frustrated. She stretches her arms out and clenches her fists. Can't help but laugh at her!

Sputnik · 31/05/2008 18:00

Mine says em em, also when he's cross, or else if he's been crying and I pick him up. Had areally bad night here, but hey ho, tonight couldn't be any worse (can it?)

Baby Sputnik gave me a really funny look when i gave him some ice cream the other day.

Have a good party Izzy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 31/05/2008 18:23

Mmmm, jamlet's been asleep on me for nearly 2 hours now. Hope she wakes up soon as she hasn't had her tea yet.

HellHathNoFury · 31/05/2008 19:42

drunk
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 31/05/2008 19:46

jealous

WAAAAHHHHH!!!

foxythesnowfox · 31/05/2008 19:50

Happy Birthday Baby Izzy!

Barbie went well then Fury?

foxythesnowfox · 31/05/2008 19:55

Oh arse. Its not her birthday yet. Oh well, ahead of myself. For once.

HellHathNoFury · 31/05/2008 20:14

I am a bit pissed and I ate too much and smoked and everything, oops

DS was a little star and charmed his way through the day. Typical.

But it's all good, I had about 2 bottles of wine though, too much for me, I wonder how I will feel later?

DH has the horn, it's all too much!
