TillyScoutsmum · 12/06/2008 21:48

What do you think it begins with ? Wonder if we're thinking the same person ?

AprilMeadow · 12/06/2008 21:52

Tilly, wow that is gorgeous! I had a Maggie dress. Her dresses are amazing.

If it is who i think it is then i should start a detective agency! Dh cant beleive what a bunch of gossips we are! He said ' did mrsjb just call to gossip...?' hell yeah!

largeginandtonic · 12/06/2008 22:06

AprilMeadow · 12/06/2008 22:10

it was the baby Jam!!!!!!!! You feel the 2nd/3rd etc alot earlier than the first - you also know what to expect. How exciting

I have emailed my suspect

TillyScoutsmum · 12/06/2008 22:20

oooh - little baby jam is moving... how exciting

I would love to go to bed but my dickhead of a DP is still out and after trying to get hold of him for the last half an hour, I've finally spoken to him and he is totally hammered in a bar in town and hasn't got a house key. Twat ! I might well buy the wedding dress tomorrow and shove it up his thoughtless, stupid arse

AbbyLou · 12/06/2008 22:21

Hello everyone, I am just calling in for a night time post. I don't have a clue who this flf is by the way - I don't spend anywhere near enough time on here to be able to pick up clues. Wish I could though .
Well, reports are nearly done, only 5 more to do by 19th so I should be ok. They are really doing my head in, they take over your life completely. I have completely neglected dh, the kids and the house for the past fortnight and I've had enough.
Still no news from bf by the way. She had a sweep yesterday but no action as yet. If nothing happens they will induce her a week on Saturday. That seemed quite late to me, she will be 42+1. Is it normal to leave it that long? I always thought 2 weeks over was the absolute outside they would leave it.
Took ds for his eye appointment today as we knew he was going to have to start wearing a patch as well as his glasses. Dh and I were really worried, more about what other kids might say really as he is a very sensitive soul. We were pleasantly surprised though becasue the patch is just a piece of sticky tape that goes over one lens of his second pair of glasses so the light is still let in he just can't see through it. It isn't really that noticable. Also they originally said he would have to wear it for 6 hours a day but now they've put it down to 2. We saw someone more senior today and she was much better. Her main concern is that ds sees double when he hasn't got his glasses on and that is a real worry. We are hoping that by correcting his worse ey and making the vision in both similar this won't happen. The patching too also carries risks apparently because if it over-corrects he'll end up seeing double when he wears his glasses - it's all so complicated! I need a glass of wine....

AprilMeadow · 12/06/2008 22:59

TYG, meant to say great news about the money and camera equipment

SKYTVADDICT · 13/06/2008 07:55

Morning all

Spent ages catching up yesterday only to type a post then the PC froze aargh!

I have no clue who flf is!

Yesterday I booked my elective c/s and sterilisation for 4 August. I went on my own and didn't ask half the questions I wanted to. My mum was supposed to come with me but had to stay at home with the poxed DD2. Never mind I am seeing the midwife in a couple of weeks so will make a list.

Hope everyone is ok x

Lupins71 · 13/06/2008 08:01

Tilly that dress is stunning- go and get it today!

Hope all dh/p's made it home from boozin ok

I think I know who flf is my lips are sealed - still I could be totally wrong!

My darling son just threw my mobile down the loo arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh luckily I got to it superfast (picture lups jumping out of bed in weary haze plunging hand down loo, dismantling phone at 7am) not a great start to the day

Am praying the car comes back today, feeling very stuck in the sticks - I know I can walk but cant be bothered after such a rude awakening

ABBY good news on the eye, hope the patching does the trick, glad the reports are nearly over

Lupins71 · 13/06/2008 08:55

Could someone be so kind as to put a wanted/ swop notice up for me on for sale board - my card doesnt work to pay for CAT, if someone says yes then i will post details, many thanks

Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 09:32

Morning all.....

Lups I'll do it for you if you want?

Me gossip.... I am hurt MrAM.. I do not gossip, I do however know that AM was a detective in a former life.

Yay for baby Jam

FLF.... come back, your secret is safe here, promise, RL friends if you are reading this then I'm sure you are very nice but it's not big and it's not clever ya know to stalk.

Abby.. glad the reports are going well, i'm sure they'll do the right thing for ds's eye, does sound complicated though.

Sorry Lups but I did have to laugh at the phone thing, hope it still works OK. DO NOT switch it back on for at least 48hrs, thats wahat blows them. Make sure it is really dry before turning it on.

SKY, My god son will be one on the 4th August. Sterilisation Def no more for you then, are you not trying to catch up with our lovely tonic?

2 questions for the day!!

  1. High heeled shoes for babies... have you seen them?
  2. How do we tell our one yr olds NOT to do something? J climbed on the TV unit at least 20 times in about 10mins last night, each time I removed her and sternly said NO, tried to distract her, but each time she went back for more. It was the first thing she did this morning too.... looking back at me for a response.
Is she too young for my cellar?I feel another Maddie emerging
Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 09:40

What do you want me to post Lups? Write it out on here I can cut and paste it then.

SKYTVADDICT · 13/06/2008 10:33

Forgot to say I love the dress Tilly.

C has had his hand down two unflushed toilets today! The DDs really must learn to flush. The other day he picked up and took a bite out of a strawberry the girls had dropped in the garden the night before - yuk! He also fell off a brick he had climed on and got his hand trapped in the shed door - is it a boy thing? I don't recall having to watch the girls quite so much, or is it because I don't have so much time to watch him?

Yes MrsJB definitely no more DCs for us! Just hope it works.

SKYTVADDICT · 13/06/2008 10:45

DDs were supposed to be going to their Dad this weekend but just for a laugh I will post the contents of a text I got from him yesterday!

"What doin about girls this weekend with F chicken pox don't mind having L still but don't want 2 catch something from F also have 4 old folks who would not like shingles how is she anyway? Will ring her later not sure if L will want 2 come without her up to her"

To say we were nearly speechless is an understatment - F is obviously unclean then! I am sure both he and new wife have had c pox and if they chose to read up on it they would find out that you cannot catch shingles from c pox, it is the other way round! Anyway I have been looking after her alll week at 31 weeks pregnant, she has seen DPs parents and my parents (all old folk)!!. His parents didnt even ring on her bday and she got her card 2 days late!

DDs very happy not to have to go but we find it incredible! At least I don't have to pack their bag!

fourlittlefeet · 13/06/2008 11:00

Morning

I love the dress too!

btw, if you do work it out please, please, please don't out me until I've had my scan

Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 11:07

FLF.... promise!! We wont! Congratulations btw. We can wait 3 weeks!!

Pinkjenny · 13/06/2008 11:08

Who is this fourfeet woman? WHO IS SHE!!!!

Ha ha, my bubbs slept all night last night. She does like to confuse me.

Pinkjenny · 13/06/2008 11:13

I think I know...

Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 11:26

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh PJ, we have to wait.

Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 11:27

So...........
My questions? Answers on a post card please!!

JamInMyWellies · 13/06/2008 11:35

I do think I know who flf is, CONGRATS!

PJ fookin fantastic news on the sleep front now you do know that you can only give her dope every so often.

Am in cleaning frenzy why does my house take forever to keep clean the dog appears to be molting as well hair everywhere.

JB am with you on the annoying children refusing to do wha you want A is into everything he is currently emptying the understairs cupboard and so bored of telling him no I thought fuck it let him get on with it. Also is anyone elses little monster showing their temper. MY little darling has aquired the most ear splitting scream if I dont do what he wants quickly enough. Not worried atall what he will be like as a stroppy teenager.

Defo dont think it was mini jam last night had a little bit of trapped gas.

SKY what a numpty exDH.

Back to the chores, just call me cinders.

Pinkjenny · 13/06/2008 11:45

Ha ha, it was a splash of mummy's vodka and coke actually. She enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, everyone's a winner, baby, that's the truth!!!

Now, the questions:

  1. High heels for babies? No. And Wrong.
  2. L is extremely obstinate, like her father. She looks me right in the eye and plays with the fire grate. She has been told a million times that she isn't allowed to. Does she care? Er, no. I'm hoping its just a case of repetition, and ignoring the straight backed tantrum that follows.
Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 11:48

Oh yes the straight backed tantrum... The ear peicing scream... J has the added clenched fists, gritted teeth and tense body. Is quite hilarious.
