Pebble, congratulations! every time I check the thread there's another one down. I have a coil too, am feeling decidedly nervous...

SOH - I'm still BFing though A has formula when he is at the CM, I just couldn't face expressing any longer. He has had the odd drink of cows milk (must remember to talk to the CM about that).

JAM - great news, must be a relief!

Had an funny experience the other day, A picked up an apple that DS1 had eaten a little of and was munching on it. He was still eating when I put him in the buggy to go out. On the way to the library DS1 was chatting away and I wasn't paying too much attention to A, but when we arrived he didn't have the apple any more, just a few crumbs in his hand. He had eaten the lot, pips and all!

Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 10:45

I have just done the CHAT survery for ASD. Apparently Lexie has a positive score and I should take her to the doctor asap. What a load of bollocks rubbish. I only did it because I found it on a thread and for pure nosiness.

Benson - L is the same with apples, little scavengers these babies!

Bensonbluebird · 29/05/2008 11:56

PJ - well done for not panicing and visiting A&E

Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 12:01

These things, although I can see how they are sometimes necessary, promote scaremongering IMO.

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 12:19

They do and well done you for not dashing off!

I have loaded pics of Mathilda and Beau on to FB. Will put a couple here too but the album is on FB, takes too long to do it here!

Afternoon all

Have had family here for a few days so sorry for being absent...

WOW More babies We'll stick together gals. Congratulations Pebble, how did dh take it?

Jam - Wooo Hoooo, so pleased for you and your waving, heartbeating bean.

lg&t - Sounds like you had a lovely weekend with Tank and famile. Beau and Mathilda sound adorable together. Hope B had a nice birthday and how are the quads doing?

Scoot how's the tum? You know you should go easy on the baked beans. Hope they find the reason soon. xx

MID,Sorry to hear about your dad, hope he gets better soon. KFC It's terrible if that was the cause!

PJ - Milk!! It'll be fine! Have you done it yet? Jorja didn't even notice the difference, infact I only gave her 5oz to start off to see if she liked it, she downed the lot, screamed blue murder and downed another 5oz. Just do it!! Dare I ask how you are coping with the MMR decision?

Cam - at you trying to whisk my husband away for a wekend in turtle bay! Looks devine. J chatters non stop. She even pauses and giggles in the right places to be answered. We of course have NO idea what she is saying but she can appear to have a whole conversatin with the wii remote. (It's the blue flashing lights on it, she likes a bit of pretty pretty)

Your parcel arrived today.... how cute is that dress? Did you make it? Thank you, will take a piccie for you soon.

MKG · 29/05/2008 13:35

OK LG&T I will stop saying that you are having sextuplets (would you be the first mner with so many?) Or Quads even! Has anyone ever had them before?

MKG · 29/05/2008 13:37

PJ I think if you had another now you would definitely relax out of sure necessity. I've noticed that I just care less about certain things than I did with just one, and at the end of the day if there's no blood then it was a good day.

Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 13:56

Hey Madamejaffa - I thiiiink I've decided that she is going to have the MMR. I would have been more comfortable with single vaccines TBH but can't seem to find any conclusive evidence that MMR is related to ASD. And anyway, I did the survey, she already has ASD. Sorry to be facetious.

I so so so want another one. L has brought me unimaginable love and happiness that I want lots and lots.

Milk, yes, yes, I will do it, I will. But you know I don't like it when she's sick. What if it makes her puke?

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 14:15

It wont, get on with it

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 14:23

LG&T you used to be so gentle with me, since when are you adopting the tough love approach

Ha ha, am posting very sensible advice today to other MNers, whilst looking at reasons why L will have ASD and also need to go into a full body cast after her hip check up.

I convinced myself that she was limping last night, poor dh and my mum were getting so peed off with me. The poor child.

Anxiety management, anyone? Works a treat.

Ha ha, I have faaaar too much time on hands as I have the most boring job in the world. My boss thinks I'm great though. Imagine how she'd feel if I ever did any work.

And I forgot to tell you, L took two (non-limping, according to dh) steps last night! She'll do anything to avoid bedtime, that child.

Madamejaffa · 29/05/2008 14:30

PJ, yo feeling loved yet? Thats lg&t stroking your head and me holding your hand on the MMR thread.
btw, you will doubt yourself whatever decision you make on the MMR, I am normally a decicive person but even I can't help thinking about this one.

I know deep in my mind though that I am happy with the tripple jab. I am absolutely for immunisation, how it is done is a personal choice that I have no ishoooooes with, also the tripple didn't cause any troubles with Harrison and Maddie so I have no reason really to think it will with Jorja.

Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 14:32

I always feel loved by my May 07ers. Its just a very difficult one, but I am being told by so many people that I trust that it is safe.

My mum is driving me mad with it though, because my aunt made the decision NOT to give my 9yo cousin the MMR. So mum is totally paranoid. And 9yo has never had Measles, Mumps or Rubella, but that's not to say she never will. (God forbid)

cameroonmama · 29/05/2008 14:33

It won't make her puke does it make you puke for heaven's sake ??

Yes LG&T on my own Dh is in China. Actually we are a group of 6 mums and babes, millions of 'em in fact. Their husbands are all doing this (feel free to donate!)whilst mine is away. So I am tagging along. Keep your fingers crossed it doesn't rain. Are you feeling a little better?

Glad you got it MrsJB Make it myself??? Are you bonkers? I can barely sew a stitch! It's from a local lady who makes them all at home.

Are you still mad SOH?

Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 14:35

Hey Cam - oh god, I'm sorry I spoke about the blardy milk thing now. I have such a reputation on here. And not in a good way.

Where is SOH, she comes on, tells us she's crosser than a cross thing, and then buggers off!

MJ - am loving J's giggling at herself. L sounds like she is talking a foreign language, all inflections and funny faces. V. cute.

cameroonmama · 29/05/2008 14:36

As a public health professional I urge you to go for the MMR, you know it makes sense. Why risk your pfb and your sanity and expose to life threatening diseases such as measles when you don't have to. It has saved many many lives in developing countries...

That's my lecture over with for today.

cameroonmama · 29/05/2008 14:37

We love you Pink, really we do

Pinkjenny · 29/05/2008 14:38

Only because I expose all my insecurities and it makes you all realise how together you are! Only joshing. Thanks for the advice Cam, duly noted.

Madamejaffa · 29/05/2008 14:42

Bows down to the lecturer of today...... here, here!! LOL

Pink we do love you...............; and your ways; tehe

Yeah... SOH cross...... hmmmm? You don't do cross do you, whats Up? Did the tank eat your straw hat?

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 14:45

Yes stab the little blighters i say...

We do love you Pink, have no fear

SOH where are you?
