molly was 3 on the 23rd and blimey, where have those three years gone..
will read thread properly later, but agree with someone saying it's the 'terrible 3s" rather than "terrible 2s." found that with my sons (now 8 and 6) too.

Welcome Stepfordwife. Your Molly is 1 day older than my Jack.

The AN April thread was fairly busy but not many came across to the PN thread. I think iirc that is was initially me, TheMuppetMuggle, Verso and Lockets. I am sure there were more but as the months went by the smaller the group became. And then along came Fransmom and Toytownmum and its pretty much been us for about 2 years with the some of the others popping for updates (which is nice).

We havent got terrible three's as the terrible two's havent left yet! Jack is very strong willed and stubbern (sp) how much of htis is down to him being a taurean i dont know?!

yep, i often wonder about the taurean thing because m is very stroppy strong-willed too

fran is an indigo child so i thik be ing strong willed is part of that

I never even thought about their star-signs! Just looked it up, Joey is an Aries, DD is Cancer. No idea how that will change things though!!

When I used to lurk, there used to be someone called DarciesMum on here? I remember cos I love the name Darcie and that was on my shortlist for DD.

Joey has been waking the last couple of nights, he wanted to come in our bed. DH had to get up (he only wants Daddy!! Yaay for me! Meanwhile DD is clung around my neck) and persuade him back to his own bed. I think it was about 4am before he went off properly. Poor DH...
I seem to be handling his tantrums better though, by anticipating what it is he wants, eg. if I close the door, he'll scrunch up his face, so I know immediately that he wanted to do it.
Still we learn...

he def still being a prat tho that is putting it politely. he sent me a message the other day that dd was upset and wanted to tlak to me but he didn't say why. found out later that he had some guy in a white van puill up alongside him when he had dd in the car and this wvm was giving xp load of abuse. now because i had one date with wvm, he assumed it was him. apparently got his addy off electoral roll and was going to go round and sotr it out. couldn't give me reg plate. so i had to get in contatc with wvm to tell him to let me know if anything happened so i could let sol's know. also found out from cm that his son had told her that his dad was getting amrried tot eh supposed xgf that he apaprently hadn't seen since late december. i sent atext saying congrats and then later on got reply saying "my informant needs to get up to date with the times!" men!!! i fed up of singledom now

We are okay, Darcie has got a sickness bug from school tho but shes okay.
I was told last week i'm being made redundant, as the company i work for is shutting the entire branch network so i'm going back to college & uni to train in what i wanted to do when i originally left school and that is a legal secretary. so i'll be doing my level 2 diplomas in that, and also studying for my degree in business law. its going to be hard studying, working and being a mum but will be well worth it in the end.

Me and Lee are off to Barcelona for a few days in june to celebrate his birthday, and will be taking Darcie to butlins in august for a few days holiday .

Fransmom, sorry to hear about your ex. He sounds like quite a handful.

Joey has been waking a lot the last couple of weeks. Normally he sleeps through beatifully, but for some reason he's taken to waking and throwing a right paddy. DH gets up to him (he only wants Daddy, not Mammy but at night!).
DH has been getting even less sleep than usual. Last night he eventually had enough, and woke me to deal with it. After a few minutes I had talked him back to bed, calmed him down and he was happy to go off to sleep til morning. I think he just knows how to play DH whereas he doesn't know how much he can get away with with me. Let's see...

Anyway folks, the sun has finally given up and it's back to dreary rain...
