Oooggs - I would say that at the moment 90% of C's nappies are loose - doctor said its caused by teething - how can they suspend him??? Sounds ridicuous!!

liath · 16/04/2008 17:23

Have a fantastic holiday, GMM!

Oooggs, sounds a bit OTT to me, too - ds almost always has loose poo. Sorry to hear work was crap too.

Happy birthday to Ernie & Robyn too .

Birthday cake is in the oven - better late than never. Trouble is, by the time it's cooked then cooled the kids will be in bed. Oh dear - maybe DH and I will have to eat it ourselves .

NorthernLurker · 16/04/2008 17:34

Hope work does get better Oooggs! The loose nappy thing is daft - B varies but is often quite 'mushy' - TMI right?

Hello all

Have been lurking Just haven't had that much to say.

potc Really glad the housing case went well. Was thinking of you on Monday.

dippy J starts school on Sept 15th. For the first week he goes 9-12, the second week is 9-2, then the third week is 9-3.30. He will be 3.4yrs. When I first heard that the school takes them fulltime at nursery level, I thought great, easier childcare etc. But now I'm really worried that its too much, too soon But as dh has pointed out, he goes to nursery from 7.30-2, so he'll be spending the same amount of time in school as he already does in nursery. I have def been feeling very emotional about it. Although everytime we drive past the school, J shouts "my school my school"

mj Hope you're feeling better soon. And you can make Sunday

Well, I'm feeling a little bit please with myself. About 6 weeks ago I decided to eat properly and healthily. Plus there were loads of clothes in my wardrobe which I hadn't been able to fit into since my pre-pregnant days. I have lost a total of 11 lb and can fit into most of my old clothes

sorry for there's no more personals this work/life balance is getting harder and harder

love to you all
x

No posts for hours!!! Wtf?

Runny, I pmsl at the number of repeat posts that appeared.

oooggs · 16/04/2008 19:38

and that was runny trying to fill the thread on her own

oooggs · 16/04/2008 19:38

hi sol

Sexonlegs · 16/04/2008 19:41

How is everyone?

POTC, sorry you are feeling wobbly - hope you are ok. {no hugs}

Leaky, hope you had a good afternoon and pleased to hear you are feeling better.

Oooggs, sorry work was so pants. How is J? Our nursery has a policy of 2 loose nappies and you're out, but they do seem to be able to tell if it is illness or teething thankfully. K's nappies have been pretty loose, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with her.

Went to the docs. She was lovely. I just have a viral thing, but we talked more about how run down I have felt and she was just wonderful. We did talk about a/d's, but I am not that bad. Just need to get a better balance and some rest to then get back on top of my game so to speak.

Where are you all????

runnyhabbit · 16/04/2008 19:42

thank god you're here - thought I'd actually killed the thread

StealthPolarBear · 16/04/2008 19:45

oh no oooggs

dh is doing my head in

yes, he works long hours, yes, he is the breadwinner but surely that does not excuse from helping around the house

ffs

anyone would think I was asking him to cut off a limb, instaed of putting the rubbish out

and because he's tired, he can go to bed early.

I'm tired but I can't go to bed because I still need to sort the boys stuff out for tomorrow. And W has got his meningitis booster jab tomorrow. What joy. Esp as I will J with me as well.

Bramshott · 16/04/2008 20:36

Aw Runny - sorry you've been having a tough time. Are you still exhausted from W being in hospital do you think? It must have been a very tiring time, both physically and emotionally.

SOL - glad you had a good chat with the GP.

I am very overexcited because when Alan Johnston came on, he answered my question first!! Okay it was a bit of a bollocks answer but I am excited by the idea of a member of the cabinet actually thinking about a question I had posted! The question was about why, when we are encouraged to have regular dental check-ups, we aren't encouraged to have regular health check-ups for blood pressure, cholesterol etc. His answer was woolly - about not wanting to fill GPs surgeries with the 'worried well' but hey ho!

Sexonlegs · 16/04/2008 20:38

Ooh Bramshott, a good question indeed!

Runny, I could have written your post, although dh is currently painting B's room so I really can't complain.

But normally, he will just keep on piling in the rubbish even though the bin is full and will walk past things at the bottom of the stairs that obv need taking upstairs!

Men. Nuff said.
