watched a prog about titanic survivors t'other day. One woman had to take her female twin dd and leave her male twin ds, older son and dh. Also a chap had abducted his children from his wife (separated obviously) and was running away to America. Poor woman having kids snatched, finding out he was on that ship and awaiting news. Children survived, dad did not.

Our really good news is that our container is on its way to Nairobi and should be cleared by the thieving bastards customs by the end of the week

We made it home eventually yesterday. Just! Midnight ish, after the drama with the accident in Bournemouth last week the car hadn't quite finished giving us shite and decided that it needed to break down just off the ferry in Boulogne. Alternator belt caught fire 2k from the port, we abandoned car fast in a layby and fortunately had a bottle of water to hand to douse the smoke! So spent the next 4 hours sorting out recovery and a hire car with the assistance to get us home. Our car is still 600km away being fixed and is still full to the brim with all our stuff. I have NO straightners!!!!!

Despite all that we had a fantastic break, the meet up was lovely, lg&t thank you so much for your hospitality the paté was delish!!!
SKY, Mum2G and Scoot was great to meet you, glad you enjoyed the beautiful south Sky.
I must appologise for the devil child who is aka Maddie. Poor babies, I hope they went home unscathed from the terrible tot.

Just had a lovely lady and her daughter over, she came to collect somestuff she bought off me on ebay and stayed for 3 hours - her dd was 18 months very cute and well behaved, ended up selling her more clothes, said we would meet up again, dp will no doubt frown that i have been meeting up with strangers (weird axe weiding maniacs as he calls you all) again lol

Getting a weensy bit nervous about starting work tomorrow, i know its only pub work and im sure it will be fine - not excactly going to rushed off my feet

There must be loads of horror stories regarding the titanic, so many individuals tales of loss, panic and terror, very interesting tho

I am going to try cheating on the diet front, I confess I have bought some slimming patches, fingers crossed they will work because relying on will power alone isnt really working, altho 2lb off this week is ok I suppose, trouble is it wont stay off with all these devin cakes and biscuits and little shops selling great cheese and chocolate - I will end up a true devon biffer with norks that blend into my tummy an thighs that rub together

Hi all, glad you had a good meet-up. It sounds like you had a lovely time.
We had a lovely weekend away. It was so nice or the dc to spend some time playing with their cousins. They get on really well. When R has turned 1 they will be 1,2,3 and 4!
Well it was back to work today and it feels like I've never been away. Oh well, only 5 weeks until half term!
Keep those choccies well away from me. I HAVE to make a concerted effort this week, I've been starting again for the last 4 weeks and another month has gone by with no weight loss. I really need to lose about 3 stone so I've got a long way to go.

I don't mean to be a nag but where are the pictures from your meet up?! I'd love to see all the little ones together and what they look like - please tell me that someone took a photo of them all together!
