chin snogs with teeth here [ouch]

Thanks for all the pushchair advice; I think I'm a side by side kind of gal. I can't help but feel sorry for the poor wee mite that gets stuck in the back seat on a tandem buggy. I imagine a lifetime of inferiority complex as their first experiences of life were looking at their siblings butt with their own six inches off the floor. Also I think with the P&T that the carrycot has to go underneath....poor little lamb; it'll be winter and wet and cold. As much as IK love the look of the P&T as a single

holly, I love the graphics on that pram, but I really couldn't bear to push something around called an iCandy. These are babies, not totty . I love the look of the P&T though, but I think it's the carrycot bit that is underneath if using for a toddler and an infant.

My sister remarked earlier that I'd do anything for a new car, and that just cos we might buy a seven seater to get the extra boot space, doesn't mean we have to fill it

holly, I got your e-mail thanks.

LOL at all the feisty babies we have. Do you think it might have something to do with them being neglected in favour of MN?

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 28/02/2008 21:51

babyboo likes to try and pick my moles off. It bloody hurts

milkyJammy · 28/02/2008 21:58

Sorry I got distracted with brain training.

The jamlet pulls my hair and pulls and scratches my lip too. And she tries to stroke the cat but invariably just pulls too hard at a clump of fur. The cat is remarkably patient with her though and never tries to scratch or anything, she just runs off asap.

My DD does mouth snogs with teeth and tongues....ewwww...

as well as hair pulling, yanking earrings out, face scratching etc...she pulls DHs chest hair and tries to remove his nipples when she joins us in bed

Night all - hope you get lots of sleep x

milkyJammy · 29/02/2008 07:07

"So, talk to me about double buggies and family sized cars........"

Eek daisy does that mean what I think it does?

Hello everyone else....just time to be on since last week....sure i was supposed to be having a 3 day week...what happened there then?!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 29/02/2008 08:11

Hey Z!! Hope you are well, you sound really busy!

Yes, daisy is pg! Who'd have thunk it?!

Glad you got a good night jammy.

My abs don't seem to be working! Usually they work within a day, but it's 2 days now with no difference. My throat is still really sore and swollen and my mouth feels like it's been scraped with a razor!

Nice!

Have a lovely day bumper!

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 29/02/2008 08:39

Gah! My day has been postponed. DH is feeling poorly . Back to reality for me then!

milkyJammy · 29/02/2008 08:42

Sorry Holly
And sorry Bumper

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 29/02/2008 08:43

Oh no bumper ! If I were you I would take dd out for the day, I hate being around "poorly" men..."poorly" my arse!

Hope you have a good day anyway x

milkyJammy · 29/02/2008 08:44

(I'd be tempted to tell him that if I was feeling poorly I'd just have to get on with childcare same as normal. But I probably wouldn't make him)

milkyJammy · 29/02/2008 08:45

Bumper, we don't have anything much planned for today, so could do an emergency cake meet up if you fancied?

OP posts:
HellHathNoFury · 29/02/2008 08:51

Morning all.
DH has applied for a job here with me. Funny.
As a technical architect. At least we have worked together before.

Holly you reminded me yesterday, I don't actually like brisbane very much and Adelaide was my old home so would prefer to live there if we do go back to Aus. Which at this point is looking likely as I still haven't heard about my green card.

Think something is wrong with me down below.
I am on the pill and am not in my monthly 'break' bit yet - yet have been bleeding heavily for days now.
Great!

milkyJammy · 29/02/2008 08:59

morning Fury.
green card? were you trying to go to the us?

OP posts:
HellHathNoFury · 29/02/2008 09:07

Yes I have been talking about it for ages!
But I think people skim over my bleatings about moving to the US as no-one has ever really said anything until you just now lol.

We are trying to get into the US - Australia and a few other places are next on our list if we don't get the green card. We applied back in October/November!

BadZelda · 29/02/2008 09:18

Wow - Gratz Daisy!

Sputnik · 29/02/2008 09:29

Think I'd prefer Aus to US myself (tho never been to Aus). I like the US and Americans (well, the ones I've met, not George Bush), but the work attitude there is quite intense. I am adapted more to the laid back Italian approach.

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 29/02/2008 09:31

Thanks jammy, but I think I will just get on with a few bits today. Hopefully he is taking her out tomorrow so I'll get some stuff don't so I don't have to worry about it. He's not that poorly, just feeling a bit fluey, so he can stay in bed with DD while I do some housework.

We'll have to do another meet up soon though. Fury, I know you are super busy, but let us know if you get any time off and want to meet up. Are you still considering the move to the town where DH used to live?

HellHathNoFury · 29/02/2008 09:35

Hey Bumper
Yes we are... but it's all a bit 'who knows?' atm! At the mo we are just waiting on the green card and if we don't get it we'll keep looking around and saving up.
Sputnik.. Aus has an incredibly hard work ethic - much more so than here.
I worked freelance out there and a typical contract for me was a 45 hour week. I had to work very long hours and it was a much more intense atmosphere than here.

Working in the UK was a great break!

I have never worked in the US - I do suspect it is similar to Aus. Both places however have the quality of life we are looking for, but America is more affordale (cheaper housing, cars etc).
My sis lives there and my folks have a place there.

HellHathNoFury · 29/02/2008 09:37

Ah forgot to say - I am busy but can do one day over Easter? Otherwise I am free most weekends after that as well.

milkyJammy · 29/02/2008 09:45

That's fine Bumper. Hope you get your day tomorrow. And yes, it's be good to meet up soon. Don't think I can do Easter weekend. DH is away in Seattle the week before so he'll be tired and wanting to catch up with me & the jamlet, and I've already invited friends over for easter Sunday lunch so had better keep things quiet other than that

HellHathNoFury · 29/02/2008 09:58

I had a premonition this morning that we were going to win the lottery.

mwah hua hua hua!!!

I will be rich and can spend irresponsibly!

Shame I can't fix what's going on down below though. Never mind.

HellHathNoFury · 29/02/2008 10:25

Evidently, I really do kill threads.

I made my mother cry yesterday morning, this morning I made my sister cry, and I kill threads in my spare time.

I think I am going to piss off for a while and try to be less offensive somehow.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 29/02/2008 10:28

I'm just lurking atm fury, I'm trying to find a way to make money somehow on 'tinterweb!

Don't mean to piss on your fireworks, but I had a dream once about the lottery. I even dreamt the winning numbers...let's just say my dream was less than correct!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 29/02/2008 10:29

PS You haven't made me cry, in fact quite the opposite! xxx
