Needed a new thread...

DD2 is much better today, she ate some fruity toast for her tea last night and loved it. And it didn't reappear an hour later either!
Have been to a mnmeet in Harrogate today, DD2 is starting to enjoy play dates now, especially this one as there was a fantastic baby section for her to play in!

YorkieGirl - the doctors think ds is asthmatic as his uncle as and he's got a terrible cough.. he's been on amoxicillin for a few months as theyre hoping it's just a virus. How do you get an 8 month old to take an inhaler? We're basically thinking it's inevitable it will be asthma...

OH HERE YOU ARE!!!!! i havent been able to find you for ages. And only had 5 mins here and there to search for you. Even searched for threads i'm on but that didbnt work.
sorry havet had time to read down and have about 10 child free moments.....we are all ok except for perpetually snotty baby. he is now 7 months and crawling around. eating lots of fruit and veg much and mash. I'm weaning him very conservatively as we have lots of allergies in family etc. so no wheat (what a pain) dairy or eggs or fish. he is very heavy to carry around but i dont go teh teh HV so dont knwo his weight. He's in 9-12 mo clothes & has been in big car seat for ages as he's so long.
Hope all your LOs are well and good luck to those of you who are TTC. I feel very pensive as i woudl like more but DH feels we shoudl stop at 4.

Chicken pox spots? How is she YG?

Hope you all had a good Christmas. Ours was good - it was just the four of us (dh, ds, dd and me). We moved dd into her own room today - so I am off upstairs to read in bed now (now I can have the light on!)

How are the spots YG?
Hope you all had a good christmas. We had an excellent time and DSS managed to stay out of hospital ( where he and we have spent 10 of the last 16 Christmases)
Dh has managed to stay out of theofice, although he is clearly getting withdrawal symptoms.
he is a bit shaken up as someone he works with has lost 3 of his family in the disaster in Thailand. you know how it is....you watch it and see that there are 40,000 dead and you just cant take it in.....seems much more real when it touches someone you know

dot1 · 29/12/2004 20:02

Hi everyone and happy Christmas!!! YG - hope the chicken pox isn't too bad for your dd - poor little thing...

We had a wonderful Christmas - complete with snow! Ds1 thought it was fantastic, and was sooooo happy with all his presents - just lovely to watch!! Ds2 was thorougly spoilt with lots of grandparents around - as were we!! dp and I got a digital camera which I'm already obsessed with - have managed to download some onto our computer - can someone send me the link to putting some in the photo album??!

ds had his 8 month check last week - doing really well in all his developmental things (bless) and right at the top of the charts for height and weight - so HV said not to worry as he's nicely balanced!

Anyway, happy new year to everyone!

I was just thinking today that ds hasn't had any colds over the hols - won't last long back at nursery!
ds can now climb up stairs (but not down), and loves to play with ladies strings of beads.
