ooh aah a little bit more ..............

Are they/Aren't they?
Dippy
Pinions

Work
Pinions has issues with her return to work and her hours are yet to be finalised
Octo made the decision to go back to teaching, as a supply teacher for now
mammyjo was messed around by payroll and overpaid
crossover of uk/spanish public holidays caused problems for Maveta
weeonion is also struggling with issues surrounding her return to work

Babies
Talk about talking
weeonion's C has her first tooth
WCL is tearing her hair out as L is quite literally everywhere
wanky loon HV giving Pesha hassle over D's weight

Everything Else
Eddas made her Buggy Snuggle and it looks fab!
Caz has been asked to talk to teenagers about being a young mum
Oooggs has worries about a planning application right next to Nursery
GMM will be running for DEBRA
Maveta needs to chose a Nursery but with ratios of 1:8 it won't be easy
Maveta is also struggling with other aspects of the Spanish way of life, namely MIL
Hotlipsmummy rejoined the group after being with us during pregnancy, and promptly changed her name to 2hotcrossbunnies in preparation for Easter
Pinions had an op to remove some gremlin moles but is recovering well
Pinions brother has written a rather interesting book (that's the brother that doesn't star in random tv ads )
phdlife popped in to say hi
Pesha went to a party in her wellies and came home very drunk ""maybe a tiddly bit tiddly" by 10pm
Maveta has a new hairdo
Dippy will jump into bed with anyone that offers her a Kinder Egg
Pinions can knit
GMM has her notallowedtotellyou pierced
mj and oooggs had lovely girlie nights out with friends, while SOL took dh with her when she ventured out
GMM has bought a new pushchair
Dippy has stickykeys
KHIN needs (((hugs)))

Meet Ups
We were thinking of multiple meet-ups on same day in May to celebrate birthdays????
NEED TO PROGRESS THIS
Ellie wants to come to Scotland on Feb 15th if they'll have her???

Funny stuff
It was decided that MN is constructive
SPB asked "does it get easier as they get older?" (still pmsl at that one )

Also worthy of note
Octo had more wine leading to this quote -
"Fuck it, bugger working and going to supply and have 4 more children ..."

There were excellent language skills on display in the Liath household .....
"A recent conversation at my sister's house went thus:
Dd - I'm going to bugger off the cat, Mummy.
Me - I beg your pardon?
Dd - I'M GOING TO BUGGER OFF THE CAT MUMMY!
Me -
Dd - Bugger off cat!!
Cat -
I must stop using foul language"

A collaberation between Mr Dippy and NL came up with this new 'lullaby'.....
"Some naughty children didn't go to bed,
Along came a goblin and chopped off their heads.
Their poor parents started to weep,
Because the naughty children wouldn't go to sleep!"
"The naughty children bewailed their fate
But alas and alack it was all too late
The Goblin scarpered, quick as could be
So listen MY naughty children, go to sleep for ME!"

Pesha (or should that be Peesha ) got fed up of not being able to say her own name correctly and has changed it to Mashanapedyjo (Masher for short) thanks to Octo!

Oooh def let me know if you're coming up Oooggs! I think Ellie might be coming down next weekend but she only said it once and I've not spoken to her since so I'm not sure now!!

I get their shoes from clarks but only because both of mine had exceptionally wide feet and Clarks was the only place I could get shoes that fitted them. We have just bought Nathan his first ever pair of non Clarks shoes and they have spiderman and flashing lights and he is thrilled!!!

I caught him the other day struggling to put his shoe on and he couldn't. Went to help him and his foot would not go in at all, took the shoe off and he'd stuck a toy car in there Its cos hes seem the ads for those bloody clarks shoes with the secret toy pocket!

Oh and talking of ads DP asked N what he wanted for lunch today and he said 'ham sandwich with Hellmans Light' The boy watches too much tv!

elkiedee · 27/01/2008 20:21

Pesha, that's shocking. I feel absolutely furious for your eldest daughter that her father is so selfish. Nothing to suggest - I would find it hard to know whether to continue trying to make arrangements for contact with such a useless dad but he is her father - whether he behaves like this or she doesn't see him she's obviously going to be upset - but at least you're there for her.

oooggs, hope you manage to get more sleep.

LOL at Octo's conviction that E is saying "I love you", that's so sweet.

Eddas, congratulations on the jeans. I know a few years ago I managed to go swimming regularly for 6 weeks and although I lost no weight it made a real difference to some of my clothes and I wish I'd kept it up. Muscle weighs more than fat after all, so don't be too disheartened by the scales if you know you're in better shape.

AngeG · 27/01/2008 20:23

DH has just come in with apple pie and custard for himself, after saying he was going to put J to bed.
So I said "I thought you were putting J to bed" to which he said "yeah but if I don't have pudding now I won't get any til 10 o clock"
So I said "J won't go to bed til 10 then"
What did he say????

"If it's that important he goes to bed you do it"

tosser

AngeG · 27/01/2008 20:24

Hello POTC You ok?

Pesha · 27/01/2008 20:24

Yes Ange did you tell him he was a bloody useless Male Driver and shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel and give him the full lecture, man-style?!

Or are you storing it up for use in future arguments?!

Octothechildherder · 27/01/2008 20:25

ange - my dh did the same recently - have just got my car back after having the wheel arch replaced he did pay obviously - in many ways!

hello ellie!

Octothechildherder · 27/01/2008 20:26

another wanker

Pesha · 27/01/2008 20:27

Oh that was to your first post Ange! Perhaps now is the time to use the car card?!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 27/01/2008 20:27

i'm ok

OP posts:
Eddas · 27/01/2008 20:28

a very male opinion ange arsehole

Octothechildherder · 27/01/2008 20:29

Back soon, dryer beeping for anti crease (dull) - not having to iron does take priority over mn!

AngeG · 27/01/2008 20:29

lol Pesha and Octo.

He is really pissing me off this weekend. He's now finished his pudding and still hasn't put J to bed. I'm refusing to do it now out of principle, but I'm getting really cross!!

Are you sure POTC??

Pesha · 27/01/2008 20:32

Lol Octo

Hi Ellie

Elkie - I am starting to question things but we shall see. ATM things arent so bad that she's better off having to deal with not seeing him anymore iyswim although she would have been better off he hadnt come back. If things end up that way though then I will put an end to it. I think it may be his choice rather than mine though, he's obviously thinking about it to have said it and hes done it twice before

Pesha · 27/01/2008 20:33

Why monosyllabic Ellie??

oooggs · 27/01/2008 20:34

are you ok ellie? are you coming down next weekend? Pesha is she staying with you?

yes octo sure we could manage somewhere in half term, but ds1 doesn't get half term so he might not be with me

Hi eddas, ange & elkie

Pesha · 27/01/2008 20:36

Yeah she is Oooggs if she's still coming!

Ellie???

Octothechildherder · 27/01/2008 20:37

Great - I am down from 18th til the friday - will be over in Plympton one day visiting the outlaws but could meet at the farm place another day. Having a mental block on its name!

Ellie - you sound like you've been norty!

AngeG · 27/01/2008 20:37

He's just putting J to bed!!

oooggs · 27/01/2008 20:38

Pennywell Farm

oooggs · 27/01/2008 20:39

if ds1 was at school and had a half term - ours is the week before! (11th Feb)

oooggs · 27/01/2008 20:39

this weekend as in the 2nd Feb?

Octothechildherder · 27/01/2008 20:39

Thats it - and hopefully you won;t have to pay for the twins as they are under 1??

oooggs · 27/01/2008 20:42

just checked an you don't pay for under 3's

elkiedee · 27/01/2008 20:45

Ange, what an absurd way of putting things. Perhaps you should have offered to eat his pudding while he puts J to bed. Hope he does it soon.

oooggs · 27/01/2008 20:46

come on girls - I have to be in bed by 9pm
