Honestly wanted to poke him in the eye earlier. He comes home and I am up to my eyes in it, house is a mess and I am bathign the kids etc. Come downstairs and he has got himself a pint and sat infront of the telly with toys everywhere so I said "thanks for helping me clear up" and he said "I don't know what you mean, I haven't and I said "I know, I was being sarcastic" and he said "i've jsut come in from work, it's not my mess"....arrggghhhh!

It's not my bloody mess either, I don't play with sticklebricks either!!!!

This mornign Leo was asleep when my alarm went off so I said to him to hold him as I was having a shower and he said "jsut put him on the floor" and I said "I would but he is asleep" and he huffed and puffed and rolled over.

It jsut really PMO that a) he doesn't want to do these things, that everything is a bloody chore and b) that I am married to the arse!!!!!

did quite a lot of housework yesterday as the place was in a right state and we rearranged the dining/living rooms the other day so it was particularly tits up disorganised. So hopefully today going to have a very quiet morning. In theory it´s Mum and Babies but N seems to be taking his nap lately at exactly that time so kind of hoping he does the same so I can loll on the sofa.

Good night here - at last - B woke at 12 and was coughing a lot so after a feed I put her in the study downstairs in the travel cot - she went straight off to sleep and I heard her on the monitor once but she obviously managed to settle herself. Hurrah!
We are considering if we should just turn the study over to her - would be a bit weird as it's our front room iyswim - but we only use it for the pc and pushchair storage! The back room is our living /dining space. Hmmmmmmm - will need to think on.

WCL - at dh. My dp always makes a big deal of it if I ask him to look after D for a bit for me, its like he's doing me a favour Well ok not always but often. And he has never once asked me if I can look after the kids while he goes to football on a saturday, yet if I go somewhere and god forbid he has to have all 3 its a big deal!

Maveta - I expect I'll get bored and change back to Pesha again soon!

D slept from 8 til half 7 last night and was then happily playing in his cot till I realised what the time was!

Feeling very low and bleurgh today. Fed up with crappy playground mums and my tooth and everything really. Having one of those days when I just want to curl up and have the whole world disappear for a while - stop the world I wanna get off kinda thing.

No water cos theyre doing improvement works. Was meant to be going to mums but cant find deicer, roads a nightmare, can't set alarrm, t really grumpy...can't be bothered

Give it about 4 years and you'll know whats wrong with playground mums! Its just like being back at school with bitchiness and gossip and crap. And tooth has absess (sp) and prob neds to come out as is recurrent absess and I dont want to go to stupid dentist and have 5 injections that only actually start working once I leave the dentist and keep me numb all night so I'm not going! Well not until the pain gets really bad, have put it off for 8 months so far!

i had an abcess and tooth removed the other week so feel your pain! The relief when it's gone though...

You should go to the Dentist, Pesha - It'll only get worse and worse otherwise, young lady!!

Last 2 nights have been a bit pants, am trying to summon the energy to go out somewhere otherwise will lose the will to live. Any tips on encouraging the world's most dependant toddler to actually play on her own gratefully received. Ds already plays independantly at 9 months - poor dd is such a klingon!!

Ds has started to refuse point blank to let me feed him so have been on the BLW site looking at finger food recipes.

Pesha, are you registered with an NHS dentist? If so get yourself down there before your D turns 1. I need to do something about that, preferably before I go back to work.

Hope no one on here is facing being flooded out. I gather there are problems in Leeds again but I believe it's the luxury riverside flats in the centre, hope all who are or were are ok. NL, hope you're not in the danger zone where you are.

D has just woken up from a nap in the buggy (I've got him all ready to go out and then wheeled him round to get him to sleep). I'm going to take him out to an NCT coffee morning soon and probably straight to Baby and Me from there. dp has gone to Kings Lynn to see his mum in the care home where she's currently staying (thanks for any thoughts and prayers previously mentioned on the thread).

POTC, I looked at your thread last night. I hope you and your beloved sons are ok, and that you find support to continue doing a great job as mum, which I believe you are. Pesha and Dippy who you and the kids have stayed with - so they should be able to judge for themselves and and everyone who's met you and talked to you on here believes that you're a great mummy. Hugs to you if you'll forgive them on this occasion, it's terrible that you should be worrying in this way.

Dh has decided he wants to move again!

His boss is an arse, and I know I would have told himn to shove it ages ago, but honestly, I don't think I can face the upheaval all over again

I have been really horrible to him this morning and said that he should think himself lucky to have a job....and honestly how many people go to work every day and enjoy every minute of it???

Anyway the upshot of it is we are cross with each other, and this happens so rarely.....I feel horrible when it does!
