Only thing that occurred to me was is there online support (norcolepsy-net )? Sure you've already thought of that, just wondering what other people with narcolepsy did in your situation?

Good evening all. Well house is tidy and all quiet.
POTC - just wanted to say that whilst I have no tips I think just the fact that you are concerned about M's welfare shows that you are a good mother who puts her kids first!

Whilst we are talking about sleep does anyone here have experience of night terrors? DS1 has them and its awful - screaming his head off, eye open, thrashing and kicking etc. They last about 10mins then he calms down and goes straight back to sleep. Its been happening on and off since DS2 born and is slightly more regular over the last 3-4 months whilst he's been dropping his nap. He had 1 last night and I knew he would as he'd been stressed by a visit by my cousin and her 3 boys and was he was KNACKERED. Didn't seem to be able to prevent it though . Everyone tells me he wil grow out of it eventually but just feel so sad for him and its stressful for me!

CaptainDippy · 21/01/2008 21:58
