Elkie - sorry about dp's mum not being well but glad you and dp managed to talk.

Eddas - that ds is poorly. But I know what you mean aboutt dd being quiet when poorly!

Maveta - glad you got the day off! Sorry ytou and spb are still having bad nights, you might want to ignore the next paragraph!

Well D fell asleep on me at 8, put him in cot and he cried so I gave him the bottle I'd expressed (couldnt be botherted to sit on floor feeding him for ages, bottle much quicker!) and he then played in his cot and went to sleep at about half 9 ish. My alarm went off at 7.41 and all 3 dc were still asleep Had to wake D up for a feed which killed me as I have a very strict never wake a sleeping baby rule but we'd never have made it to school on time otherwise. And M and N woke up when they heard me moving about and we made it to school with 2 minutes to spare!

D is full of cold though and when he's coughed a fe times its sounding pretty nasty And he was sick on the bed this morning after I'd fed him. Seems happy enough in himself just a little bit dozey.

Going to get him weighed this afternoon, I keep missing it but have my car back now so no excuse and I havent had him weighed for ages. He's grown alot, mostly length but has chubbed up abit too!

elkiedee · 21/01/2008 09:55

Hi SPB, Maveta, Pesha and Eddas, and anyone else around of course. Another crap night here, am just about to try and get D to have a nap.

Glad that you've got your day off Maveta.

Sorry that Eddas's ds is ill, hope he's on the mend soon.

Pesha · 21/01/2008 09:56

Hello maveta!!

Just looked in D's book, he's not been weighed since 3/12 when he was 16lb6. So 7 weks later and hes now 39wks, I'm guessing about 18lb. Jamie reckons 23 odd .

Ok Nathan at 40weeks was 23lb. Dylan is not that chunky! Maia at 40 weeks was 18lb 9 but she was also chubbier at this age than Dylan is, between 7 and 12 months she got really chubby!! But she was still a very small build so now I'm thinking D is perhaps 19 or 20lb.

Can you tell I'm bored?!

Pesha · 21/01/2008 09:57

Hi Elkie, sorry about crap night

elkiedee · 21/01/2008 09:59

Eddas, dp's mum is 76 and has been physically quite frail and not good at taking care of herself for a long time. She's only very recently begun to show signs of dementia but has deteriorated terrifyingly quickly since early December. She also had three hospital admissions last year following falls etc, in April, September and December. I was hoping she might be able to get better accommodation with independence and shelter but it now looks as if she may be headed for a more residential option , not what she wants.

CaptainDippy · 21/01/2008 10:03

Hello! Friend coming round soon so just time to pop in!

SPB - Ah yes, but I didn't know she was a lesbian!! She's had boyfriend's in the past!!

Glad you got the day off mav!

CaptainDippy · 21/01/2008 12:00

Of course you are, E!

GMM - we've hired out the sports hall of our local Uni, which has it's own Bouncy Castle and soft play bits n bobs. We've asked all attendees to bring a plate of healthy food to share and we'll probably have pass-the-parcel and some singing. Easy! Oooh, and fancy dress too!

StealthPolarBear · 21/01/2008 12:04

WE HAVE SNOW!!!!! Heavy flakes and lying, was fun to drive in but we're back in the warm now so can watch it fall
Pesha, hope D is OK
CD, ah I see now why you were ed. That reminds me, I still haven't sent a reply to a wedding invitation, now where did I put the card?

StealthPolarBear · 21/01/2008 12:15

Pesha · 21/01/2008 12:18

LOl POTC - I think you're right.

Dippy - sounds like fun, how many little monsters angels are coming?

NorthernLurker · 21/01/2008 12:20

Snow, snow - huh - chance would be a fine thing! We have rain - lots and lots of it! Got soaked doing school run and some shopping for dd2's birthday tomorrow. (I have seven small girls coming for tea plus my own three!)
Elkie - hope you enjoy Jolly Babies - about dp's mother.
Pesha - good work getting out the house - it's so annoying when you have to wake the baby isn't it - not that happens much here
Maveta - good for sticking to your guns
Dippy - I can see why your friend's engagement was a bit of a surprise then!
Eddas - poor litle poorly baby

Well dh went off for his first day in his new job today - which is exciting - shame he's practically had to swim there! I got so wet in town - bits of clothing etc all strewn all over the house drying - just in time to get wet again at 3pm. Ugh!
Right - B's lunch time - she is having unidentified orange veg from the freezer - am rubbish at labels - I think it's squash

Pesha · 21/01/2008 12:41

Just had the letter confirming M's place at Junior school in september. Cant believe she's going to be going to junior school!! My babies are all growing up so quickly!!

CaptainDippy · 21/01/2008 12:51

CaptainDippy · 21/01/2008 12:52
