........

4 years ago at 9.20pm I was given my first dose of pethidine. And then proceded to be sick. I then was shoved into a side room in a labour ward and laboured through the night for until 7am. I was then in so much pain that given the choice I would gladly have given it all up. At 8am I finally had an epidural and that was effectively the end to my labour. At 3pm on the afternoon of the 16th January DS1 Louis, was born.

My birth story, 4 years ago tonight. 9.20, this very minute just about to get my first dose of pethidine.......followed by 19 hours of labour.

Ds1 is 4 tomorrow !!

Feeling emotional it is ALL down to you lot that DS2 was so much quicker and easier to be delivered.

Sitting with Ellie and Lesley until 3am, then 3 hours "sleep", then into the hospital at 7am, all the while with only really a couple of twinges and then an hour of real labour and hey presto, T born at 8am!!! What a breeze.

One hour labour. Put down to a combination of RLT's and Ellie and Lesley.
