cazboldy · 15/01/2008 18:36

geordiemacminx · 15/01/2008 18:45

Ooooo Caz we had leek and potato soup for tea too, I had only made veggie soup but it was dead easy, chicken stock leeks and potato. Lots of black pepper, jobs a good un. C had some for his lunch thought it was great, put chunks of bread in to make it a bit easier to feed and to be a bit more filling.

oooggs · 15/01/2008 19:05

busy day here in oooggs land all, 3 dcs and two clubs and stew & dumplings for tea.

Pesha · 15/01/2008 19:17

Ooo stew and dumplings [droooooool]

Octothechildherder · 15/01/2008 19:23

I put onion in leek & potato soup aswell Garlic bread seems to go down well with it aswell!

I am into sweet potato, chick pea and green bean tagine at the moment - basically those ingredients - cookas you would a soup but less stock & add tin of toms, some cumin & ocriander seeds ground down & sprinkle fresh coriander on top. Serve with cous cous or on a jacket potato The bigger boys won't eat it though - ernie and we love it Cheap & very easy! Not good on the windy side though

How are you oooggs??
