Nice here eh? Seven is a lovely magic number.

DD has horrible cough off DH. They are both hacking away like nanny goats so our house is rather noisy and I s'pose I'll have to get it too, sooner or later. A real workout for the immune system at 6 months anyway.

Think maybe my purees were a little bit lumpy for DD. She really went for the bought stuff I gave her today, and I was quite reassured. Anyone actually tried the Hipp apple and blueberry? So tasty I could have it on toast , no probs.

Georgina hope your hands, feet and mouths are OK.

Twiglett you are a rascal... sleeping through eh? what on earth is she thinking of?

Think I would rather miss my little overnight fixes of DD if she didn't remind me of her presence every 3 hours or so.

Well for a start I think if I offered DD water in the night she'd go beserk but each to their own (and we've made a breakthrough on that front today - she's decided she'll share my sports bottle of water with me). I got up and cuddled her for maybe five minutes and all was quiet and then put her back in her cot and she cried crossly immediately and continued crying for 10 minutes while I laid in bed and listened. Then I booted DH out of bed and he did the same and the same thing happened. Then I went again (so we're probably at 45 minutes by now) and then I think DH went again and she'd be quiet every time we picked her up and cry every time we put her down. The second night I think we picked her up twice and then the third night only once. I wouldn't say we're home and dry yet but definitely think the night feeding has to be eliminated now. Also DH is on at me not to pick her up but just go and stroke her in future but not sure yet.

TBH Egypt don't think you can achieve much before your Prague trip so probably best concentrating on avoiding breast feeding since thats the main issue for the weekend. IMO of course.
