thanks Holly for asking btw...DD just woken up (no, correction...I woke her up) and seems happy atm.....waiting for the runny nappies....but at least she doesn't seem to be reacting to the ABs.

andiem · 19/10/2007 09:34

I am off on sun and it is 24c in portugal yeahhhhhhhhhh

Holly pizza for breakfast sounds good to me I like it cold

andiem whispers I have just seen bumper on another thread

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 09:36

Some fucking arsehole who bought e-bay things off me just sent me a really rude e-mail

"Any reason why I haven't got them yet!!!" Not (as I would have done), "sorry, but I haven't received them yet, I know there has been a strike and I'll be patient and wait until next week....."

Through gritted teeth I just replied

"Perhaps you haven't had a postage strike in your area? Unfortunately we have, and it has severely affected our deliveries and they are still not back to normal in our area. Apologies, I thought the strike was nation-wide."

Fucking twat

sorry! Needed to get that off my chest as I wanted to be very rude to him!

LittleMissNorty · 19/10/2007 09:37

OOhh sounds lovely Andiem.....

So Bumper is lurking then.....

dogtanian · 19/10/2007 09:40

I was warned of runny nappies when I took abs whilst bfing dd. It never happened, you may be lucky!

The pizza was yum!

HellHathNoFury · 19/10/2007 09:59

holly how did you get on with your blueberry diaper? I am wondering if I should order some for when I am in the US... just need to convince DH it's a good idea

dogtanian · 19/10/2007 10:10

I haven't received it yet. It has been a couple of weeks, but it was coming from US. I'll let you know how I get on with it when it arrives. They do look gorgeous don't they?

HellHathNoFury · 19/10/2007 10:14

yes but they have left a bad taste in my mouth - it was blueberry diapers I was trying to buy from THE EVIL WOMAN

HellHathNoFury · 19/10/2007 10:15

But I still want them

HellHathNoFury · 19/10/2007 10:17

hello there- i'm a newbie here..hellhathno fury told be about you.just a wee note on the ebay thing-i won two sofas (fair and square i may add) on ebay. i had wrote to the woman who had said she wanted £50 more for them than the auction price but she had put a low reserve down.(eejit) anyhoo- i tried to contact her to arrange pick up and she just bloody ignored me. 7 emails later i ended up leaving her bad feedback..and i'm stuck with my tapestry style sofa in a scabby green colour that taunts me every time i walk by it in my living room. i sit and think of ways i could accidentally destroy it.i think cos i'm at home all the time as well it seems even more infuriating. arargh!! such a rant over a sofa but that ebay woman has wrecked my cheap sofa dream. some ebayers are so inconsiderate. ppft!!!

Clarabumps · 19/10/2007 11:34

on another note..pizza is best served cold. i agree

HellHathNoFury · 19/10/2007 11:53

Hello Clarabumps, welcome!

Sorry we're not being rude, usually this thread is heaving with activity but for some reason not today!

Cheap sofa - DFS Sale?

Argos?

I am going home now. Work is killing me. Later all.

riabutterflew · 19/10/2007 12:18

hi clarabump. can you get a nice big snuggly cheery throw for your sofa?

justbeme · 19/10/2007 12:37

Hi all and welcome Clarabump - when was your LO born?

Well on the subject of Ebay - my Onelife lady has replied to say that she is sorry Im disappointed and if I return them then she will refund me. - She also pointed out that she bought them on Ebay in Aug and they were sold to her as new without the boosters. But looking at the original ad, her seller said she wasnt including the boosters.
Well I can see that they are not new (they dont call me Hawk eyes for nothing!!)
But somehow it just all seems too easy IYKWIM.

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 12:38

That's the pits Clarabump.
The sofa is central to my life atm. Agree with Ria, pref. get one that doesn't show baby puke (and welcome btw )

justbeme · 19/10/2007 12:44

Oh when you next check in Fury - I meant to ask you why Paypal can only get half your money back?

What do you do when youre standing talking to a stranger with a small child and the child puts their hand in your pram and rubs your babies head/holds hands etc? I felt too embarassed to say anything, but really was thinking "get your're smelly 4 yr old hands off - I bet you've been picking your nose and touching your willy!!")

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 12:44

Are we all going through the 4 month e-bay spurt or something? I hve a pile of stuff to go, between stuff that both kids have outgrown, mat stuff etc. Been trying to get round to it, then I noticed an ebay shop about to open in town, I'm tempted to tke it there and let them deal with it.

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 12:48

I get tht all the time JBM. When I was with DD for bit at her 1st few days of preschool it was a nightmare, they were swarming!

Clarabumps · 19/10/2007 12:55

my ds was born on 070707...dah dum dah!!lucky boy!he's a great baby but seems to be going thro some kind of growth spurt at the mo- no clothes fit him and he's not sleeping. i'm like a walking zombie...between that and the planning of sofa destruction and making up bottles..my life seems complete. i'm thinking of just buying bean bags and living like a hippie.

Clarabumps · 19/10/2007 12:58

justbeme- i know what you mean about toddlers and their hands. i had a lovely child that meant well but threw a pound coin into the pram(for good luck) and nearly skelped my baby on the head. nearly died of fright!and almost high kicked the child in a fit of rage- tell me- do the hormones ever calm down??

justbeme · 19/10/2007 13:02

wow cool birth date Clara! My LO born 100707!
At the moment she sleeps well, but maybe im in for a shock!
She normally goes 8-9 hrs at night, then 3hrs, then 3hrs and shes just woken up after a 1hr nap.

normally in the day she just catnaps. but daytime she feeds every 2.5hrs or so and leading up to early evening even more.

Sputnik · 19/10/2007 13:03

Oh cool date of birth!
Oops, baby just pooed nd puked all over me
