one-handed typing - sorry!

andiem · 07/10/2007 19:39

elsbells much better than me I have got stuck but keep stuffing chocolate down so no surprises there then

arse about the nappies jbm

might become posssetwiper as that is all I seem to do all day cloak made of muslins covered in white cheesey bits and emits a noxious three day old cheesey vapour to stun enemies

LentilweaverDaisyboo · 07/10/2007 19:39

my house is quiet too....apart from the sound of the dishwasher being loaded by DH and the tumble drier.

Fark me that was a reeeeeally hard day. How DH and I got through it without losing the plot I don't know. DS has been really whiney all day, but I think we notice it moer when we're tired. I only had to shout at hime the once though, for mucking about (as usual) at teatime.

If she has another 2am waking session I'll die! It wouldn't be so bad if she fed then went back to sleep, but she has to try and stay up!!!

Bless her though she discovered she can blow raspberries at teatime so has spent the three hours till bedtime trying to do it over and over again....sooooo cute, it makes you forgive her for being a tiring wee sod

andiem...I'm all for the theory behind waiting till 6mo, but I don't know that it's physically possible for me to feed any more than I already do....unless I can find a convenient hole in the space/time continuum and repeat several hours of the day. Maybe the super hero guise would let me do that!!

Derlor is probalby tending to her poor bruised DH after his cycling accident. I hope all is OK. Tallulahbelle has been quiet as well.

Right, off to catch up with the gazillion threads I'm on......then a quiet night in front of the TV....nno MNetting for me from the comfy sofa tonight as my wireless connection is caput.

foxybrown · 07/10/2007 19:45

I shall be Udderwoman, my secret weapon will be the ability for my norks to shoot and squirt from 100 paces on demand. I shan't have a cape, but a bra that contains dangerous weapons

LentilweaverDaisyboo · 07/10/2007 19:47

My superhero guise would have to be The NappyNipper. I would suffocate my enemies in a huge pile of fluff and use giant nappy nippas as a kind of bolass to hobble them.. My cloak would be pink gingham PUL....with a detachable fleece lining, of course

foxybrown · 07/10/2007 19:49

PMSL Daisy!

Oh look. Rugby.

oh oh oh, no DP quick, put Wife Swap on

LentilweaverDaisyboo · 07/10/2007 19:49

Charlie999 · 07/10/2007 19:54

More farking rugby on tonight.....may have to do some on-line shopping

TheNappyNipper · 07/10/2007 19:56

D'you like my cloak?....do ya? do ya?

Charlie999 · 07/10/2007 19:56

ROFL.....love it

Jamantha · 07/10/2007 20:12

Trying to think what my superpower would be? Mmmm, I think I need to be Silence Woman, with the ability to stop a cry at 100 paces. Unfortunately I don't think I'm up to such advanced acts, but judging by the pleasure LO seems to get from sucking my fingers, I could be the Barley Sugar Hand Lady.

justbeme · 07/10/2007 20:17

Fantastic alter egos!!! PMSL

I cant think of anything - the wee/poo/sick/milk has all been covered!!

Oh I know - How about "Windypops Woman" - I'll deafen the baddies with my loud belches and then finish them off with my evil smelling farts............ Er no.. - perhaps not!!!

foxybrown · 07/10/2007 20:19

did ya geddit off ebay Daisy???

turns out my DP is in Leeds right now, having lost a rugby match. wonder what else I've missed, really should pay attention!

faylisa · 07/10/2007 20:36

Hi everyone

Welcome Elsbells and Pingu, please stay - I only joined a couple of months ago and they are (mostly!) very friendly, honest!

We went to a 30th birthday party last night and I hated every minute of it - I had to drive as it was DH's 'turn' to drink and by nine o'clock I just wanted to come home to bed - everyone else was staying at the hotel and were, therefore, wasted and I was sipping my lime and soda! - think I have turned into a right miserable antisocial cow. Oh well.

I don't think you're meant to eat them MHC

BadZelda · 07/10/2007 20:43

I'll be the jaded juggler...can keep three or more children in the air at one time, and only occasionally drop them.

BadZelda · 07/10/2007 20:45

Does your DP actually PLAY rugby then Foxy?

riabutterflew · 07/10/2007 20:46

LOL

I want an alterego

probably something to do with shouting?

TheNappyNipper · 07/10/2007 20:46

Faylisa, there's nothing owrse than being the sober one in a room full of drunks...you should insist that it is your DHs turn for the next 9 months though...or a year, if you allow for 3mo BFing as well!!

Wow MHC, I'm impressed with St Andrews to York for the day....mind you if you get the early Virgin cross country, there's no changing etc to be done.

Right off to hava glass of vino and have an early night, just in case DD is up at a godawful time of the morning again.

riabutterflew · 07/10/2007 20:50

got it!

The MiseryMaker.

I shout at small boys for next to nothing and refuse to buy lego sets.

Will try to come up with something better. I would prefer to be the babysnuggler who just falls asleep cuddling a lovely baby and misses all the action.

riabutterflew · 07/10/2007 20:53

bugger, that makes me the bad guy. I resign from MM.

possetwiper · 07/10/2007 20:54

faylisa I agree nothing worse than being the sober one in a room of drunks my lot for the next few months mind you I didn't drink much anyway

Nappy nipper re the 6 month thing I was talking to one of the profs at work before I went on mat leave about the exclusive bf for 6 months and she said don't beat yourself up if you introduce solids earlier the evidence base is not that good she said do it if you can but don't sweat it. She is a prof of hv vv important in the country

justbeme · 07/10/2007 20:55

Do you think TA and Holly are off together on a secret mission??

faylisa · 07/10/2007 20:55

I admit it, I have started weaning, this week
