I bet she's got a pole in her sitting room too.

Ooooo a Pole and a Brazilian, she's a busy lady

juliewoolie · 12/10/2007 21:02

helloooo drunken people

PJ poor you it really brings it home how much things change when you try go away with the LO's. Even harder for yoou when you have had such a rough time of late. I agree what NOB said about the washing powder also maybe bath stuff aswell might be causing problems.

I too am having a few issues with BF I have been giving A a bottle of formula as his dream feed for the past few weeks and he has taken to it big style. I am still BF for the rest of his feeds but recently he has become really fidgety and quite often its a real pain trying to get him latched on and concentrating on what he is doing. I am still concerned that he fidgets as much as he does because my supply is not good for him so have been taking fenugreek to try and boost it. My worry about it was kind of brought to the forefront yesterday when I went and got him weighed he is only 13lb 14oz at 4 mths. And I know I am the first person to say the growth charts are for FF babes and as long as they are reaching developmental milestones etc etc then all is good. But am now really worried it is not enough for him. The other thing is I try to express a bottles worth for him every day for my DP to give him but it is getting increasingly difficult to get much out. Last night I expressed for an hour over both boobs and only got 4oz. really wanted to get to 6 months ex BF but think I should swap to formula.

juliewoolie · 12/10/2007 21:05

97PercentGingerbread · 12/10/2007 21:06

juliewoolie · 12/10/2007 21:09

NairobiOrBloodSuckingBats · 12/10/2007 21:21

Not sure I like being called a NOB

Julie, don't feel bad love if you decide to change, look how far you have managed and what a wonderful start A has had....

juliewoolie · 12/10/2007 23:36

Maybe we should call you NOBS

Reckon we should put loads of names in a hat and get some new MN nicknames. Or I could admit that my name is not Julie and is actually Petunia.

MarsLady · 12/10/2007 23:53

97PercentGingerbread · 13/10/2007 08:28

Oh and Nigella Lawson makes my teeth itch. I don't want her either.

Pinkjenny · 13/10/2007 09:45

Morning all - thanks for all your emails, and suggestions re: washing powder etc. I don't actually put anything in her bath and haven't changed washing powder but have stopped using fabric conditioner and am rinsing her clothes twice.

A friend has suggested a specialist washing powder that is available in Boots, which she uses as her daughter has eczema, so I'll pick some of that up today.

The rash is still present, but fingers crossed its fading now. The hospital have told me not to give her any more Piriton as it should still be in her system, and that if it comes back 'in a florid manner' to take her back in.

She is such a loud little vandal though. She is currently lying underneath her baby gym which she has totally demolished so that the activity bar (which is soft!) is now on top of her. She tries to eat everything on there, all the while shouting and moaning like a loony. I hope there are no asbos in our future. Dh says its my fault because I'm a scouser. Harsh.

SOH - I know M sleeps with you, do you put her in her own cot in the evening or does she go into your bed when you're not there?

97PercentGingerbread · 13/10/2007 13:30

PJ, we don't even own a cot! She goes into our bed on her lonesome, bed rail up, sleep positioner to stop her rolling. We must buy a cot at some point.

...........COME ON FRANCE...............

aprilmeadow · 13/10/2007 20:31

just a flying visit to say the holiday started off particularly crap!
Plane was 2 hours late leaving Gatwick and then when we finally arrived we found that some bugger had taken our case mistaking it for their own wouldnt have been so bad apart from the fact that it was Ellas case and had all her clothes, food, nappies etc in it! Not to mention have of dh's clothes.... Took over 24hrs to get it back by which point we had lost our sense of humour and were starting to panic as we werent sure if we would get it back. Spent 90 euro on new clothes (just the essentials) for Ella and then 2 hours later got the call to say it was back at the airport and being delivered to the hotel - woo hoo

Am being forced to watch the rugger of which i dont understand the rules or point scoring..

MrsJB i will over look the "come on france' and replace with COME ON ENGLAND

TTFN hope you are all well. Big hugs xx

NairobiOrBloodSuckingBats · 13/10/2007 20:42

oh April poor you, glad it had a happy ending. Enjoy the rest of your holiday, lounging around, sipping cocktails and reading lovely novels.

COME ON SCOTLAND..............oops I think that was last week.

Remember MrsJB, don't ever forget your 'racines'.

AbbyLou · 13/10/2007 20:55

Sorry you had a bad start to your holiday AM. What a nightmare! Glad it is all sorted.
Mrs JB, your 'mission' sounds very exciting indeed! I am
Well I survived 2 days back at work but go back for real on Monday. I'm feeling excited to be going back to my job but very at leaving Ruby. It sounds awful but I've kind of become accustomed to leaving CHarlie. It was really hard at first but I don't even think about it now. Don't get me wrong I love him soooo much but I need to work and he loves his childminder and that's the end of it really. Now it feels like I've got to do it all over again with Ruby.
Sorry for the waffling I'm a bit pissed. Trying desperately to understand the rugby but not really getting it. I'm afraid to say football's more my bag.....

BefSnork · 13/10/2007 21:13

Just started looking at all the photos. where did all these little people come from?

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 13/10/2007 21:18

L has really been an angel baby, so haven't really had to check up/ask too much so have just been getting on with it. Came on tonight to check out the whole head side to side when going to sleep thing and found out very quickly it was teething. then found this thread and am hooked again! How are you?

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 13/10/2007 21:43
