loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 22:56

Off to bed now, night xx

trendaverter · 12/09/2007 07:21

I am sooo tired

Got a meeting with one nursery at 9am, another at 10am, meeting DH and his work cronies for lunch at 12, then meeting a childminder at 2pm.
As well as that I need to find time to walk the dog, post stuff sold on ebay, and cook a chicken curry at DH's request.

Lucky me!

loonylovegood · 12/09/2007 08:10

Hope it all goes ok TA xx

bumperlicious · 12/09/2007 08:39

Hope your meetings go ok TA.

DD is busy watching Will and Grace

Got her second lot of jabs today Not sure whether or no to do a pre-emptive calpol strike after she screamed so much last time. Also annoyingly she is going to want to feed at the time of her jabs, so not sure whether to feed her before or make her wait till after. Can I make any decisions myself today?

BadZelda · 12/09/2007 08:45

Hi Bumper

I found feeding through the jabs made it lots less traumatic for DD? I'm sure the nurse will be understanding.

bumperlicious · 12/09/2007 08:46

Will she hurt me?

BadZelda · 12/09/2007 08:54

Is that a joke?
TBH I'm so depressed at the moment I can't tell when people are being funny

bumperlicious · 12/09/2007 08:56

No not a joke. Just wondering if she will bite my nipple off if they hurt her while she is feeding

What's up BZ?

bumperlicious · 12/09/2007 09:02

Zelda, u ok?

Charlie999 · 12/09/2007 09:10

Morning...

BZ - are you ok?

Bumper - my LO was much better after 2nd lot of jabs compared to the first. She did scream but settled down quite quickly and didn't have any problems later on in the day like I did before. She slept a lot - I had to wake her for a feed in the end - but no calpol was needed. If you're worried she'll bite you, use a dummy...must admit that would make me jump...the anticipation of her biting me!!

Jamantha · 12/09/2007 09:17

Morning. Sorry to hear you're feeling depressed BZ. And wish my LO had been less bothered by 2nd jabs. She was a right grump, and obviously a lot of pain in one leg particularly. Took much longer than normal to settle last night. Mind, when she did, she slept until nearly 5 this morning!

Jamantha · 12/09/2007 09:18

I should have said she screamed and then settled quickly at time of jab, but was a right grump later

loonylovegood · 12/09/2007 09:23

Zelda, are you there?

sputnik · 12/09/2007 09:28

BadZ, hope you're ok, did you out out the nursery for Ella? Hopefully you'll feel better with some breathing space.

I am so pissed off. Took DD for her first day at the state nursery here in the village. Guess what? There are no teachers. The one supposed to be coming pulled out and they have got 2 coming from the other side of the country, who will probably be the 2 crappest teachers in Italy that couldn't get a job elsewhere. Anyway they borrowed 2 teachers from the elementary school. I hung around for an hour, then DD cried when I said I was leaving. Luckily I'm not pg anymore or I would've cried too. Am going back to pick her up in an hour.

There is zero organisation, it was so noisy you couldn't hear yourself think, we were supposed to bring a morning snack for them but, not being Italian, I don't know these things and no one tells you. If it wasn't for my lovely neighbour I wouldn't have a clue what was going on.

riabutterflew · 12/09/2007 09:29

we have 2nd jabs today too, and clinic this morning if i can be bothered.

are you still having twunt-induced stress bz?

according to the song that was just on the radio putting new shoes on makes everything alright. hmm - what if they give you blisters, really cheery that.

i have broken my little toe (again, did it when ds2 was a baby too.) it hurts

riabutterflew · 12/09/2007 09:38

that is crap sputnik - do they have the same problems with schools too or is it just your pre-school?

daisyandbabybootoo · 12/09/2007 09:39

Hey BZ, I hope you're OK?

LOL Ria at the shoes.

I still have pains in my foot from when DD was born. It was sore after all the swelling went down and has never recovered. I also seize up if I stay in one position too long. Feel like an old woman most days.

Having a shitty day here too. Major strop at DS for being a little brat and not listening to a word I say. It took him 15mins to eat a bowl of cereal and i kept having to tell him to eat. then he wouldn't get dressed and we fought over that bloody toy that he wants to limp around on all day.

Going to WW in a bit and thought I'd feed DD afteer the shool run, she'd sleep and job's a good'un. bathed and clothed her, tried to feed her and she's just mucking about and not feeding, but if i sit her up she screams.

shitey shitey shite. why do they do this on the days you have somewhere to go. shit she's just puked all over herself.

Ouch ria! Hope you are ok.

Sputnik, sorry that the nursery is so chaotic. I'm sure DD will be fine though, I bet she is having a great time.

Hmm, seems like another bad day all round And I don't know if you have check out the 'news' thread but mnet seems to have gone crazy!

bumperlicious · 12/09/2007 09:50

Right off to have a second breakfast then get ready for jabs. Hope your days get better xxxx
