If you do it once andie you don't have to do it as thoroughly again.

God, my hair is falling out all over the place , I keep having to de-hair the baby! It's so gross.

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 11:54

andiem you put me to shame.

I've just got back from the climbing wall. Not me climbing, ds, but he wanted me to see how well he's doing.

just fed dd, got roofing chap here, then off to supermarket before clearing the office of laundry. i'm threatened with divorce if dh can't get at the desk tomorrow!

gotta go on the roof now...later

just about to go out to a "family day" at the local brewary!!!! LOL
Tallulah, the week/ month question - it should be in weeks so ideally no solids until 26 weeks (6 months) but the reality is that after the first few weeks people can't keep count any more so just try to hold out as long as possible (or as near to 6 months as you can) and don't get hung up on the week/month thing
My DD was born on the 8th so i will just try go until early December, or, whenever SHE is interested IYSWIM x
right i'm off see you all later x

derlor · 09/09/2007 12:18

Ria, just started a game of scrab with you x
right i'm REALLY off now x

I feel ill Sometimes I get a virus and come out in a rash all over - bright red and very itchy. It startetd last night and is now in full effect, over most of my legs, spots all over my arms and back, patches on front and head. Also feeling hot and a bit woozy. Typically lasts 2 or 3 days so not happy.

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 15:52

ouch jamantha you poor thing

what causes that then?

OP posts:
Jamantha · 09/09/2007 16:25

no idea but i hate it. The doc just says it's caused by a virus. A couple of times it's happened after a cold, a couple of times with a 24 hour period of just feeeling unwell (hot/cold, woozy, like now). The rash is always worse than the original symptoms though, and lasts much longer

andiem · 09/09/2007 16:32

ooh jmantha sounds nasty hope you feel better soon

Jamantha · 09/09/2007 16:39

Last time this happened we were on holiday in Japan. I had so looked forward to using their public baths, but couldn't with this very obvious rash all over, and no means of explaining that it wasn't contagious.

Charlie999 · 09/09/2007 18:18

Hello All - OMG, two days off and 300 messages to catch up on .....off to catch up....

Charlie999 · 09/09/2007 18:40

Ohh Jamantha - hope you feel better soon....I have a rash on my face....think I've reacted to oven cleaner from last week - that's it....never cleaning the oven again

Oh and great re the cot....hope she gets used to it quickly and your sleep improves

Trace - so glad DD is home...and that you have a date for MRI..

Where is everyone then....minute I get back, everyone buggers off and has RL....is it something I said???

foxybrown · 09/09/2007 20:14

ohh, i hope she is!

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 20:29

It's been OK. DD been suffering with dicky tummy, and lots of wind and gripey pains.....I think a full blown chinese banquet and a bottle of white wine didn't agree

I got a lift home on the back of a mates motorbike last night. I was like all the way home!

I've been tackling the paperwork hotspot this evening and have found my passport...yay! DD can get hers now, but we need our marriage certificate to apply for DSs. It's here somewhere....I hope.

sputnik · 09/09/2007 20:42

Say hi from us Holly, and get her to come and post, she's not obliged to reead all the old threads to catch up!

sputnik · 09/09/2007 20:45

RL, pah!

foxybrown · 09/09/2007 20:50

It was nice - felt almost normal!

There was a couple with a baby about 8 months sat near us (4 adults 5 lo's). When our food came so did the wasps, so we moved inside.

The dear woman with the baby apologised to us. She thought we'd moved because her whingy baby was bothering us! Bless her! Its still making me chuckle now.

foxybrown · 09/09/2007 20:51

where can I get a decent fabric sofa from?
