Ah, who needs it?

Jamantha · 01/09/2007 12:58

I thought you were all very quiet this morning, then I found there was a new thread! Talk about slow on the uptake

I love the outside - will be taking LO out for a walk (well a push for her really) in a bit once she's had her next feed and rump change.

foxybrown · 01/09/2007 13:01

Morning (oops, Afternoon!) Jamantha! Have a lovely walk

trendaverter · 01/09/2007 13:55

Holly I'm going to kill you

loonylovegood · 01/09/2007 13:57

daisyandbabybootoo · 01/09/2007 14:03

loonylovegood · 01/09/2007 14:14

loonylovegood · 01/09/2007 14:17

OP posts:
foxybrown · 01/09/2007 14:17

Bugger off with your Scrabulous

foxybrown · 01/09/2007 14:27

You're all off playing amongst yourselves aren't you?

Oh well, better go and find the living room floor under the carpet of crap.

daisyandbabybootoo · 01/09/2007 14:31

holly, have you gone off in the huff?

i'm being draggged out now (and having a mild panic attack at the thought..i haven't left the house since tuesday except to hang out washing) so we will need to finish this later.

don't know how you think i'm gonna win?

trendaverter · 01/09/2007 15:49

I am crap at this
I used to be good
I think when I gave birth my brains came out too

sputnik · 01/09/2007 15:51

Daisy, sorry to hear the bf still isn't going good and you've had a shitty time. Sounds like maybee you should continue with the thrush meds a bit longer? Whatever happens you have done all you can.

sputnik · 01/09/2007 15:54

Foxy. you have disillusioned me. There I was picturing you and your obviously very bohemian friends sitting around dropping acid tabs and smoking thai sticks

sputnik · 01/09/2007 15:59

Actually it's been proven scientifically that womens's brains expand after having kids due to all the new tasks to learn. Men's don't.

It just doesn't feel like that cos you're so focused on LO other things matter less

trendaverter · 01/09/2007 16:14

Sputnik...REALLY??
I am so forgetful and rubbish these days... allt he things I used to be good at, cooking, word games, driving, etc have gone to shit but LO doesn't seem to be benefitting much either!!

I am hoping my brains come back

Jamantha · 01/09/2007 16:24

In the first few weeks I felt like my brains were leaking out of a hole in the back of my head due to all the tv I was watching.

Jamantha · 01/09/2007 16:28

Had a good work out this pm [smug emoticon]. Not only a 4,5 mile walk, half of it across country, but had to lift the Phil & Ted upsome steps and over a kissing gate at one point. Thankfullly DD was in the cocoon so could take her out and lie her on the ground while I did so.

foxybrown · 01/09/2007 16:36

LOL Sputnik!

bumperlicious · 01/09/2007 17:04

Daisy, I've posted on your thread. I know it doesn't help right now but remember DS had 4 (is he 4?) years of your undivided attention. He won't remember this later on. My little bro was born when I was 5 and I was incredibly jealous but I don't remember it at all.

bumperlicious · 01/09/2007 17:22

Btw, my mum is still being really weird over this bfing. She rang me up the other day and said "I nearly bought you a carton of formula" I said why would you do that and she said "well, it said closest to breast milk...". Then later she said "well she'll need something else soon won't she?" er no, she's 2.5 months old. I pointed out that people managed to feed their children adequately for the hundreds of thousands of years before formula was invented!

trendaverter · 01/09/2007 17:40

Bumper my mum is the same
I know I FF (partly because of the hassle from mum who used to leave the room when I BF'ed at first) but mum used to say " well he's still hungry, he probably needs something richer"

bumperlicious · 01/09/2007 17:42

God my house is a shit tip. I wish I was a clean freak! I also wish I hadn't just eaten half a cinema sized bag of malteasers! And a dairy milk ice cream ast my MILs!
