Humph. Feeling very fed up tonight. It's our wedding anniversary and DH has just called to say he is working late. We didn't have any particular plans biut am still fed up. Am I being unreasonable???

ah we got the flat. thank god.. moving next week. so im going to disapear for a few weeks (again) while we wait for bt to come and reinstall the line (again)
wonder if we will be settled now

itching to have a go at scrabulous again, but was on it till 3am last night, im so tired. but its all my fault.. i cant complain really.

........oh and dont tell anyone but ellen watches tv most of the morning while i get everyone dressed and breakfasted.. im a bad mother

daisy im not too sure on this scrabulous thing !! - can u put words diagonally ? or just vertical/horizontal and do the coloured bits on the board count 4 extra points?

jbm, its the same as scrabble

pink = double word score
red = triple word score
pale blue = double leter score
blue = triple letter score.

can't go diagonally!

I havent played scrabble in yrs and when I went to "help" its not working!! - I'll try and play though!!

and if you can use all of your letters on the rack at once, you get a 50 point bonus!

right click on the board to select numbered board if like me you can't remember which colour means waht bonus

Foxy, if you're lurking...how did the first day back at school go?
how was DS2?, or more importantly, how were you?

DS is now in yesar 1 and they are exprected to be more grown up. I think he actually enjoyed it more as there is less emphasis on play and he copes better with less distractions. He also had his first ever packed lunch today. I'd given him a carton of apple juice. He didn't fancy it all at lunchtime so put it in the lunch box for later.....cue puddle of juice that went all over the floor. Bless him!

if the tiles on your rack are rubbish (all vowels or all consonants etc, you can place them on the board anywhere then click swap and it'll give you an exchange of tiles. You forego a turn for doing this. Challenge is for a different game type (not sure how that works)
