DG, I'm sure starting the game with the word down the board rather than along says something about your personality ...what I'm not sure, but most people (me included) naturally go from left to right!

how old are u ? (u can whisper it)

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 22:00

Wow DG, I used to do that with my dad when I was little. We used to go down to the river in the dark and watch the bats and find frogs and stuff!

I don't know anyone in RL my age with kids either. Most of my "mum" friends are about 10 years older than me. Bumper is only a year older than us and natty is only 21!

Right, Dirt's over and I'm off to bed.

Hopefully I'll have a brain transplant overnight and suddenly become better at scrabble , Holly is wiping the floor with me...

It was a toss up between teaching and midwifery for me DG. I chose teaching and was all ready to start last september. Then I found out, about a week before term started, that my LEA wouldn't fund me because I had started a degree when I was 18 and had quit. I got pg instead!

DG, i have calendula granules. I used them with DS and they were fab. He used to get all giddy when he saw the little sachet! I'm wondering if they will help my sore throat?

DD was very amused by the whole swimming thing this afternoon. She looked like she wanted to get in there, but they won't let them in until they've had all their jabs.

layering words like that is the way to go DG...maximises your score. If you click on the little swirly symbol above the player names, it has a dictionalry and a list of all the allowable two letter words!

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/09/2007 22:43

was off finishing the getting set for school routine. I think we're all sorted except for the packed lunch tomorrow morning!

keep trying to get back into the scrabble games, but the tiles are just floating in front of my eyed and nothing is making sense. I have some good letters so I'm going to save them till tomorrow when my brain is fresh!

nighty night.

NattyThomasandEllen · 03/09/2007 22:43

i just did my first double word

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/09/2007 22:48

is anyone watching outnumbered on Beeb One?

It's absolutely inspired!

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 22:55

No daisy, dp is watching some shitey football crap!

Ds is just waking up, so it's bed for me, night all xx
