fly lady
Saw lots of people mentioning it when I was lurking on your lifestyle thread.
Ssome of the ideas make sense actually.

I was even inspired to clean the sink, but then the neighbour phoned and baby woke. Apparently crappy teacher is not coming, but there are still too many kids and some mums are stomping off to the local authority tomorrow to complain. This is the land of doing things at the last minute......

daisy, various fly threads

Bumper have you dropped a feed recently? When I was bfing dd all my hair fell out when I dropped a feed. Well not all of it, but I did have severe thinning and I broke a hoover!

OP posts:
bumperlicious · 03/09/2007 16:58

i'm sorry, i don't have an "i" to spell out biyatch!

bumperlicious · 03/09/2007 17:00

yeah, dd has dropped her 3/4/5am feed so goes from 11pm to 7ish. why would that make my hair fall out?

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 17:01

!

Hormones! When I was pg with dd I lost loads of hair, it started growing back and then I lost a load when I dropped a feed! I was a pretty site! Aren't hormones wonderful?

i am rubbish at scrabble!!!!!!

faylisa · 03/09/2007 18:14

I think I'll give FLYing a miss.
My hair is falling out in handfuls tt. It started at same time with DD (about 11 weeks). Apparently (according to my hairdresser) it's because you lose less when you are pg so it all falls out at once when you are no longer pg. As it grew back I had an undercrop of short 'baby hair' which stuck up.... delightful! God is definitely a man!

TA - our game was getting a bit silly - there are only so many two letter words that 2 people can come up with!

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 18:16

I am just really lucky, I keep getting the Q, K, J all the high scoring letters! I have also had A LOT of practise, I used to play with dp all the time, but he always beats me, so I don't anymore!

DG, I am in a pickle really. I hate getting tonsilitis all the time, but I don't want to give up bfing early. I bfed dd for over a year and want to carry on feeding ds for longer. It's all a bit shit really!

Jamantha · 03/09/2007 18:23

I'm also steering clear of the FLYs.

Holly - i enjoyed that game, thanks, though you did run away from me rather. I'm particularlypuzzled by mucinous - i don't care that I don't know what it means, but how the F did it score 70 points?

Thanks DG, I've just added you as a friend, so you should be able to message me.

That was a hard one jamantha, it took a lot of thinking. My brain hurts now!

Farking hell.

DS's meltdown happened about two seconds after my last post. Finally I've got him into bed, and DS fed and changed and put down, loaded up my nappies so I can get them hung out first thing in the morning.

Got to finish hemming bloody trousers now, but having a quiet half hour with the pooter befroe I get started.

The cavalry (DH) has arrived, so he's doing all my washing up from the day

And breathe

she's doing alright...her bottom teeth are nearly through

I'm not convinced we are clear of thrush though, as I now have a raging sore throat. I will get back to the docs tomorrow.

I got some acidopholus capsules today too. DH asked in boots yesterday, and the pharmacist said I should make sure they were ok when BF. It only said talk to doc of pregnant on the label, so i presume they are OK.

Is no-one scrabbing at the moment?
