Hi KHIN! Ange posted with an update from Smole, can't remember exactly what it said, but all is ok, just lots of hospital visits to contend with.

1 handed typing here ....

CaptainDippy · 21/08/2007 17:19

There you go! Hi Ange!

CaptainDippy · 21/08/2007 17:21

Pleeeease tell me I am not the only one who has a baby who gets themselves so bloody worked up cos they are tired & won't nap!!!?

leakyR · 21/08/2007 17:26

Nope George has a good scream before almost every daytime nap. He really fights it. Thankfully although he's wakeful at night he's much easier to settle.

AngeG · 21/08/2007 17:26

Hi Captain Dippy

As requested no broodiness yet please Thanks for saying how adorable Izzy is.

Just wanted to say thanks again for all of your support over the last few weeks especially. I love you all.

AngeG · 21/08/2007 17:28

hey loves, just popping in before dinner

pinions I decided that the east coast was probably too far for thursday, we're going on holiday on friday and so will need to have a bit of packing time at home. Maybe next time you're down? (am I right in thinking you're at someone's home? parents?, might be completely confused there!)

cd - I'm broody too.

Pinions · 21/08/2007 19:13

Eca no worries next time perhaps.

So over to you Ellie, your choice any of those places totally fine for us, will hold you personally responsible though if it rains . Let us know which one would be the most convenient for you. And just as long as they sell candyfloss and honeycomb toffee i'm happy .

Katy44 · 21/08/2007 19:23

Hi katy!

Bramshott · 21/08/2007 20:24

Helllooooo!

Just popping in - no chance of catching up, but just letting you know I'm still here, in spirit if not in actuality!

All going okay. Working around Orla's sleeps is a bit of a challenge but only 2 more weeks of it to go. Doesn't make for a relaxed working atmosphere as I sit with my shoulders up round my ears thinking "please don't wake up, please don't wake up"! Met the childminder again last week and still feel very happy with her, so O will start there on 4 September for 2.5 days a week. N also off to school the same week (5 Sept) - think that could be a bit of an emotional week for me!

In preparation for the childminder, I started Orla on a bottle today which I'd been putting off and off. I suppose it wasn't too bad - she yelled a lot, drank about 2oz, and then yelled herself to sleep for the next 2 hours. So I then breastfed her at her normal time later on. There's no going back though as I only have 2 weeks to get her onto 2 bottlefeeds a day, so we'll try again tomorrow and hope she likes it better.

Work has also started on our extension so when I'm not working or running round after N & O, I am trying to talk to DH about wall tiles, brick colours etc. Ho hum - it's all fun. Also trying to organise Orla's christening for next month and feeling like it never rains but it pours!

Hope you're all doing okay and that the little ones are all sleeping, feeding, weaning as desired (with not too much teething yet!). Will try and have a little catch up now, in between looking at wall tiles on wallsandfloors.com and drafting a letter to the plumbers!
