Sputnik - I think I've found you!

sputnik · 12/08/2007 22:34

Ok. gotcha both

trendaverter · 12/08/2007 22:34

I don't know real names to invite to my Facebook!
oh well, only has a few naf photos of me on the piss anyway!

My DH is lovely, he drove from Reading to Essex to surprise me with a bottle of wine today, luv him!

DS on the other hand is freaking me out, just polished off 12 oz of milk

daisyandbabybootoo · 12/08/2007 22:41

LOL TA...your DSs feeding saga reaches all new proportions. Obviously now you are on your way to getting the reflux sorted, his appetite for milk is much bigger!

Seriously though, how much is too much? Can you over feed a baby or will he just puke it all up again?

sputnik · 12/08/2007 22:44

Wow, now I have 3 whole friends I might put my pic up tomorrow (none on my laptop). Will invite everyone else on Daisy's profile, I am Kate

daisyandbabybootoo · 12/08/2007 22:46

Maybe someone should send an e-mail around with RL names vs MN names?

Farking hell! I just fused the lights downstairs by turning on the kitchen light! Then dp and I were fumbling around in the cupboard under the stairs to find the fuse box, dp pulled out the wrong fuse and all the electrics went! Then I couldn't find the spare fuses in the dark! It's been a fun few minutes!

I am now obsessed with sodding facebook!

Bless your dh ta! What a special boy!

trendaverter · 12/08/2007 22:47

I love looking at everyones photos! DKMA you certainly look very glam, I was thinking no wonder you were picked for the modelling hey!

Have also been looking at Holly's DD, aww cute photos.

I think DS is a horse, today in total he has had 8 bottles @ 6oz a bottle. He's very thirsty. And no, it didn't come back up. He is gaining weight like you wouldn't believe and is now in size 3-6 months. But he seems happy and healthy, so I am not too worries, but my back is struggling a bit! Oh also he has outgrown his carrycot pram thing so now HAS to go in the buggy even though he's not supposed to (and he can't support his neck properly yet). But what choice do I have?! He is nearly 14lbs!

daisyandbabybootoo · 12/08/2007 22:48

DD not settling...off to feed her some more.

she's very dribbly...too early for teething surely!

Sputnik...you're up late!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 12/08/2007 22:52

No Daisy! My HV says can start teething really early, some babies are born with teeth!

DS is also dribbly, reckon will be an early teether too.

loonylovegood · 12/08/2007 22:52

Oh yeah, sputnik are you 1 or 2 hours ahead of us? You are up late!

Thanks TA, your ds is a little stunner! Your ds is beating mine! William is 13lbs now.

loonylovegood · 12/08/2007 22:53

A friend of mine's ds had teeth at 3months, so it can happen quite early.

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 12/08/2007 22:54

Daisy - The RL name v's MN name email is a very good idea - I'm already confused

TA - sounds like the gaviscon is working a treat and he's very happy feeding! Suppose you could get one of those around the neck head support thingies for when he's in his push chair? I dunno?

trendaverter · 12/08/2007 22:55

I have a bottle shoved in his gob. DH thinks I am fattening him for Foie Gras

Where did you go in Oz, Holly?

sputnik · 12/08/2007 22:56

It's the lure of facebook, Daisy.
TA, I'm having the same problem, baby Sputnik is over 6kg already (13lbs ish) looking cramped in the carrycot pram thing, outgrowing everything. His nickname is potato

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 12/08/2007 22:57

Oh and ta for the compliment re photo but look nothing like this now! I have ginger hair at the mo! I'm trying to get back to my natural blonde so I match my very blonde baby! LOL!

loonylovegood · 12/08/2007 22:58

Chubby babies are the best TA! DOn't listen if HVs start telling you he is too fat! They all used to tell me my dd was too fat, I ignored them and now she is practically perfect in every way!

Most of those pics in Oz are from in and around Brisbane. Dp's dad lives there.

trendaverter · 12/08/2007 22:59

wow they can grow so quick. My buggy reclines quite flat, that will have to do. He's pretty sturdy, not a pampered LO by any means, he'll cope

He can push up almost all the way on his front and hold his head up alone for aaagggeess but only if there are no sudden movements, so I reckon he'll be ok.

trendaverter · 12/08/2007 23:02

DH is from near Brisbane. Did you go to Australia Zoo?
My HV is pretty cool (also a MNer but I don't know her online name!). She has been nothing but brill really, never saying anything is wrong even when the dog gives DS a big slobbery kiss.

sputnik · 12/08/2007 23:03

Only 1 hour ahead here. Normally I'd be up to about now anyway, seem to have adapted to life on 6 hours of interupted sleep.

loonylovegood · 12/08/2007 23:08

Right, I'm off. Dp is hanging around like a bad smell, he wants to get on facebook! Night xx

trendaverter · 12/08/2007 23:10

ditto
Am sleepy, LO is asleep and fingers crossed won't get up til 5am, so I'm off to enjoy some kip. Night all!

sputnik · 12/08/2007 23:12

Oooo Daisy, your birthday is 1 day before mine!
