how many teeth he got nw (take it we're tlking 2 not 1?) ds ust got his 3r and 4th...oh he was horrible with them!

saralou · 11/09/2007 15:49

he;s got 7.... 4 up top, 3 at the bottom, were just waiting on the one on the other side at the bottom, then i would like a break from teethingas it's been non stop since he started!! all the signs are their!!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 11/09/2007 15:51

7 thought ds was doing well with his 4!! feel sorry for you and agree you should hav a break!

saralou · 11/09/2007 15:53

i'm sure sir here would like a break too!!!! 4 is also mighty impressive though!!! toothy smiles are very cute!!!!

saralou · 11/09/2007 15:54

ad saturday he fel over and bashed his new teeth and made them bleed, so he's been a bit more precious about that too!!!

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 15:56

Hi
Saralou/stacey you 2 are chatty today! Can i just as kwhat time do you feed your lo and when do they go to bed?

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 15:57

Oh yeah i am mighty about the amount of teeth, alfie has been in pain for weeks and the one tooth i can feel is still not through

saralou · 11/09/2007 15:58

meal times are 8am 1pm and 5pm

ry goes to bed about 6.30-7ish after a bottle (depeding on teething) ds1 goes up about 7.30 ish!!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 11/09/2007 16:02

meal times are about 8am 12am and 6pm, we wait for daddy for dinner and then they are both in bed by 7.30pm ds sometimes stays up till 8pm to finish his bottle!

dont mind us, we're both having very lazy days and ignoring our children whilst MNing!

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 16:05

im only asking cos alfie goes to bed at 8 and i have been giving him dinnr at 5-5.30 but now im trying to get him to eat on his own i would like him to eat the same time as us about 6-6.30 sbut i thought it might be a bit close to bed time?
Also do you more expirenced ladies have any tips for getting them to feed themselves. If i leave alfie to his own devices he picks it up, squishes it in his fingers and then throws it on the floor and i worry he will go hungry so I tend to end up giving him food myself!

saralou · 11/09/2007 16:07

(yes, i made a concious decision to ignore my 2 today)

my lunchtime should have read 12pm!!! although it can all depend on them, when their awake/sleeping... if i'm at home or out etc

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 11/09/2007 16:09

littlemiss, i wouldnt say thats too close to bedtime at all. mine sometimes get straight down from the table into their jamas and off to bed

i would say give him the food, let him play with it. what he eats he eats. they dont starve themselves.

saralou · 11/09/2007 16:09

little miss, see our earlier conversaion on our 1st childre and their eating habits... i don't know the answer... it's down to luck i think!!!! but don't stress about it, it will only make him worse!!!

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 17:04

Thanks girls, I knew i could rely on you! I made a concious decision that he is old enough to eat himself! I am going to tell dp tonight we are eating at 6 everynight now and alfie will have his too! Ive brought him a bowl that sticks to his highchair and some bigger spoons (although i know he will use his hands) and today is the day!!!
Wish me luck - I will let you know how it goes!!!

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 17:06

OHHH i nearly forgot to tell you! On a brighter note... he is walking!!!! With a walker and cruising round the furniture and he can stand on his own a little bit so im so proud of him!!!

saralou · 11/09/2007 17:32

clever littl man... let us know how long it takes him to unstick the bowl too (ds1had his off within a couple of minutes) ds2's just gets thrown on the tray!!
but i ca put the tray in the dishwasher thankfully!!

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 18:08

Yeah i got him one from Tescos and the sucker wasnt attached to the bowl so he just pulled the bowl off and left the sucker there!
Ive brought him the Tommee Tippee one now cos it was on special offer, has anyone used those?

saralou · 11/09/2007 18:37

it was the tommee tipee one ds1 pulled straight off

littlemissmischief · 11/09/2007 19:00

Right... Well the bowl is still stuck on! and 9/10ths of the food is on the floor but he ate some of it and looks mighty chuffed with himself..bless!
He did better with the harder stuff, meat etc.. than the potato and veg i dont think he likes the texture much.Anyway I think that was quite good for a 1st attemp, going to reward him with some custard now

Charlee · 11/09/2007 19:01

Hey ya'll!

Good luck for tommorrow Stacey - i am well gutted about them upping the questions! my DI has been on at me to book it for ages, if i had just got on and done it i would of got away with only doing 35! doh!

Doesn't look hopefully on the flat we put out names down for as 98 other people did to and were in a low band, but the bidding starts again Friday so its back to the drawing board for us!

Jack is getting so excited about his birthday on Saturday he can't wait!

Harry has had his hair cut, he looks so grown up now! I had to do it he was getting sore eyes where his fringe was attacking them!

Well best go cook some dinner.

Hugs to all x

Charlee

P.S - i just got the new Sims2 expansion pack and im hooked again!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 11/09/2007 20:19

thanks for the good luck, i will let you know how i get on tomo.

on a bad note dh hasnt come home tonight, having some real problems. had my mum round to help me stay normal and deal with the kids. chloe kept saying sorry because i was crying!

on a better note im now ordering chinese for dinner because i can be arsed to cook!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 12/09/2007 16:41

I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

am so pleased!

got 50/50 on the multiple choice and 57/75 for the hazard perception! (pass was 43/50 and 44/75)

am so happy!!!!

on a less positive note, got dh to explain whats going on....and he owes over £11,000 to various loans because he hasnt been earning enough money!

god knows what we're gunna do. we've now gotta try and pay 1400 worth of bills, 500 debt repayments and 200 on food (optional ) with 1059.... that doesnt add up!

shit shit shit shit shit! i hate money!

littlemissmischief · 12/09/2007 17:33

Yey Stacey!!! well done honey!

I know what you mean about money, our money in and money out doesnt go either!

ITS RUBBISH!!!

We are going for the 2nd dinner tonight so wish me luck!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 12/09/2007 17:40

good luck with the dinner little miss.

i cant even muster up the energy to cook.

god knows how i passed this morning, i didnt go to bed till gone 1 this morning and didnt sleep well. then had the test at 9.30

was in complete shock, did the 50 multiple choice in 10 mins (with checking through once) and thought i must have got something wrong as you have 57 mins to do it!

Charlee · 12/09/2007 18:45

Congrats Stacey! I have mine at 4pm tommorrow so i have an evening of boning up on my p.c version of it!

Keep your fngers crossed for me ladies!
