Ah, Just read the lnk. r, maybe you dont want to come here , as I have two loony kids climbimg all over my treadmill nd bashing hell out of each other

And i've mamanged to offend my friend today , long story. And I'm still feeling odd about the talk I had the other night. And I did a very very crap run AM.

FlameParakeet · 01/08/2007 19:07

Do you want to talk about the talk?

Other people's children would be fiiiiiiiiiiiiine, just as long as I am not caring for them!!!

How did you upset your friend?

Sure to t-shirt dying Jas, no thanks to the freebies.

@ ironing - you own an iron?!?

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/08/2007 19:10

I think that you need to email flame and me about your talk mrm.

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 19:54

Yep, I own an iron courtesy of dh. It was my welcome home present when I came back from Brazil. Honestly.

Er, friend likes honesty and being honest and exploring feelings/concepts/analysing everything. So I was honest and analyzed some stuff, and defended my actions all as part of it. And she didnt like it. But I really wasnrt nasty or anything, and not even brutally honest ; it was actually all to do with explaining how I acted on a few occassions so she could see it from my point of view. Oh well.

Er, the talk doesnt need talking about, but I'm happy to give you an idea of whats its all about to allay your curiosity and concerns!!

BEDTIME WITH NO TANTRUMS!!!!!!!!!!!

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 19:56

Nyeh, she'll get over it.

lol @ your Brazil present!!!

An idea would be good.

Yay for no tantrums.

I'm about to curl up in a ball in the corner and hope DH cooks.

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 19:58

Not amused - A couple of the other sellers are miffed that I got Berry Plush when apparently they asked to sell em ages ago (the same happened with Fuzzi Bunz) - with the fuzzi bunz I joked that I just flashed em my norks. With these ones though I put in the ground work, buying the other stock etc to wait to be added to the list, and one in particular is implying its all just luck . I have worked f*ckin hard and waited a long time to get those.

(On the plus side, have sold oodles already )

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 20:03

You're doing that nappy talk again, that goes right over my head! Selling is good though, I'll just content myself wih having seen that bit and understtod it Will email you an idea while my oven chips cook

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 20:05

Believe me, if he had the leave then I really would (although my train tickets could be an issue )

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 20:14

Get him to take a sickie. And flash your cleavage at the train man

I've just emailed you.

Jas · 01/08/2007 20:21

They are jealous because you put the work in and got results.
I will be buying one, so the nappy talk wasn't pointless

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 20:25

lol - am starting to calm a bit. Seeing my cousin tomorrow and not seen her in about a year.

Will go cook dinner.

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 20:29

You two almost sometimes make me think I should've give proper nappies a try this time! But I'm prob glad I didnt, as i'm very susceptible to addiction.

Jas · 01/08/2007 20:37

It's not too late to give them a try
Think of the money you could save.

Frizbe · 01/08/2007 20:37

Flame at boy with snail, he's not part french is he
Was thinking if he came here he'd have to go some to wee in the peg box, mines usually hanging off the line!

MRM, well if friend asked you to have that conversation she can hardly balk at it can she?

CSWS have you had a lovely day then? whatcya done?

Dd1 to bed here at 5.30 passed out halfway through an 'I want my daddy scream' just as ss, dd2 and I were eating tea (she'd refused hers, so off to bed) and placing bets on how much longer she'd scream for so any guesses on her awakening time tomorrow? I'm going for 5.30 with dh......

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 20:37

You would have loooooooooooved them

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 20:43

Friz, its not that she specifically asked me this time, just that it seems to have developed as the usual set-up between us, IYSWIM. And she always does it to me, and you know how you sometime naturally mimic the behaviour of people you spend alot of time with?Oh. Now you're going to point out that i was in thw wrong, arent you?

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 21:29

I still think that if its the usual thing it shouldn't matter who initiated this time.

What is wrong with me tonight?? Sat here welling up over bloody how to look good naked - I want the man to do meeeeeeeeeeeeeee. (Not "do" me you understand...)

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 21:32

Hmm, freudian slip there Who's on it then? I remember seeing one, and thought she looked much better before all the changes Anyway, you dont need anything doing, you're great. How many more times do I have to tell you, you're a pretty version of me?

whompingwillowinthedewmeadow · 01/08/2007 21:34

flame Im not sure you're his type!!

(hi everyone!!)

/but I also love him. I want him to say "hiya gorgeous" to me

MrsDoolittle · 01/08/2007 21:43

Hi Ladies

Don't do much mumsnetting these days but I pop in a see how you're all doing when I do.

2boysmacca · 01/08/2007 21:43

Feeling better Flame?

I have my sister down and her 2 kids (6 and 3). We went to Wimpole and had a lovely day. CSWS did you see Mr Rainbow or was dd too young? Gosh it was hot, despite lashings of Factor 30, ds2 has still managed to catch sun accross his cheeks and nose. Put boys down together at same time in same room and they settled really well, apart from half an hour later when you could hear ds2 launching missiles at his older brother, fast asleep. He gave up after about 15 mins!

Boiler packed in this morning so we ahve no hot water. Not ideal with 4 kids! British Gas here tomorrow to try and revive it. Really need to sort out the bathroom but we need to wait 'til we renew mortgage this time next year to take more out. Looks like we're gonna have to find csh from elsewhere (is it mean to cash in kids Premium bonds )

Right better neck some cough mixture, eneded up sleeping on the sofa last night as I was disturbing everyone, don't want to do that again tonight

KelBelle · 01/08/2007 21:44

Hi Ladies!!

Flame - well done on the nappies, take no notice of the others I agree they are jealous!!

Well today I entertained DS for over and hour in the garden by putting a washing up bowl full of water out there and his little cups etc and watched him get soaked but really enjoy himself - it was great

I want to come on Sat but cant get a sitter for DS and Ex DH wont have him overnight

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CSWS!!

I have been very busy in my garden this week, it is coming along nicely now and I have weed matted it and covered it in forest bark and weeded so much that I ache. I want a nice easy garden to enjoy.

I want to get DS Iggle Piggle too, will have to have a look and check finances. Have pre-ordered a DVD that comes out in September

MrsDoolittle · 01/08/2007 21:50

I need to see pictures of all your children

Here's Ruairi, absolutely gorgeous he's definitely mummy's boy

mustrunmore · 01/08/2007 21:54

He's gorgeous. Obviously largely because he's a blondy boy like ds2!

Phoenix · 01/08/2007 21:57

Chloe - Meeting somewhere would be a good idea but i don't know where to suggest. We'll be going on the M1 so maybe YSP or Cedar Court?????

Just so you all know you will ALL look about size 10 at the side of me on Saturday.
