I'll bring a couple of winter coat (for Flame to look at) and a pillow then.

Tis lovely and sunny, and dd1 is reading in her bedroom
DD2 did at least play in the paddling pool a bit while ds slept.

Frizbe · 31/07/2007 14:05

I shall certainly bring wine too
Jas sounds like yours are behaving themselves nicely then
ss is on dh's computer here, whilst dd2 is napping

I have a girls night out too tonight only 3 of us total, but better than now't!
Mind you I caught my side profile in a shop window today, so back on a proper healthy eating diet next week I reckon, can't start this week, as too much junk in the house to eat, plus drinking with you lot at the weekend and BIL/SIL sunday so next monday it is!!

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 14:17

Hurray! My bbc order has been dispatched!

flame, we havent made it to the shops today Sorry! I still reckon it'd be easier to give Maccapacca to ds1 and oopst to ds2 and let you have my iggle piggle, but I guarantee ds1 would say 'where's iggle piggle'. If you hsvent ordered by Thursday night, I'll get to the shops on Friday I reckon. Got a fun day tomorrow and something to do with goblins on Thursday!

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/07/2007 17:37

Yuk. Just got back from Wimpole, left dd asleep in the car. Heard her a few mins later calling for me - went out to find poo squelching out of her nappy, and she'd obv put her hand in it and smeared a bit around. Got her out and stripped and cleaned her on the drive, brought her into the house naked and left her whilst I cleaned the car seat. Came back in to find she'd pooed on the floor and got some on the sofa. She now seems very perky though, and is bouncing up and down on the sofa, and climbing over the back of it (a trick I have Emrys to thank for ). Pleeeaaaase let it just be a one off - we have lots on this week, and I don't want to spend my b'day housebound!

Jas · 31/07/2007 18:00

I'm glad I didn't come on Sunday, csws...at least I know it isn't my fault if it happens again.(Hoping it is a one-off for you)

DP has the bug now.

I just checked out passports and dp and both the girls will expire before we go away in 3 weeks. I can't believe I didn't check them earlier. At least there is (I hope) enough time to sort new ones out.

Chloe55 · 31/07/2007 18:17

You will have to be prompt Jas, Oscar's took 3wk to come through, they can take up to 6wk but normally are back within a couple - don't risk leaving it longer though.

Sounds like you have had a fun afternoon CSWS ds likes to stick his hand down his nappy if he can get to it at the moment!

FlameParakeet · 31/07/2007 19:18

We've had similar CSWS - my mum got to deal with it

Sorry for the sofa climbing

DS rubbed his korma over the carpet, we chucked them both outside to play whilst we cleared it... so he then falls into the woodchip and bashes his top gum - blood everywhere!

On top of that, the woman who had the nappies that the tie dye washed out of... her order (a voucher to make up for the nappies...) hasn't turned up!!! I got it dispatched direct from Babykind to speed things up, so I now need to phone them and find out what happens now Methinks that is one lost customer, and god knows how many that she can run me down to

Jas · 31/07/2007 20:07

We're going to get photos tomorrow, and I'll have to do the PO check and send thing as it is apparently quicker, Chloe. The web site says if you are travelling in more than 2 weeks not to go to the offices which was my initial thought this evening.
I've also applied for the travel insurance card thing, but that should be here in plenty of time.

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 21:53

Lovely. poo. blood. And a bit of last minute panic drama.

Where are you all??? I'm here all alone again, so you'll be picking on me this time!

Jas · 31/07/2007 22:02

I'm here for 1/2 hour before bed.

I'm using your emergency tea bags, mrm, and ds has had the car ball pool up today (I put it away and forgot about it for ages). He loves it

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 22:04

Oh dear, why are you into emergency supplies?
Glad the ball pit is appreciated and was still usable after a year in storage... I had visions of it all being stuck together!

Jas · 31/07/2007 22:07

It smells new

I got complacent re the tea and didn't buy any. I have spare now again for next time.

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 22:12

Hmm, like that new smell of dolls when you were little?

lol at the thought of complacency over teabags

Might not get time for my window shopping plan on Sat now, as i have to babysit frist thing while dh and neighbour take loads of stuff to the tip in a hire van (alot cheaper than the skip we intended to go halves on!!) I'm going to insist of being released at 12, but these things have a habit of taking forever
Er, those of you who've seen my limited wardrobe, what shall I wear??? I have nothing comfy that looks accaeptable, so will come as a huge ragbag again

Jas · 31/07/2007 22:17

I will be aiming for comfort mrm. Jeans and a clean top in my case (really pushing the boat out there)
And long stripy socks because my feet are always cold

Jas · 31/07/2007 22:18

I didn't have dolls. I had one which our cat chewed, but I never played with it and didn't get more. I was a lego and sandpit playing child.

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 22:19

Have you got those socks with toes, like gloves?! They're fab

Clean top might be a bit beyond me. anyway, you always look great in anything

Guess the next question is, does Flame want to see me sleeping in Kermit jamas, or a black sundress that I was going to use to have ds2 in, but couldnt be bothered taking it to hospital?!

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 22:20

I used to pull the heads off them; the necks smelt lovely. But wasnt goih to mention that incase you accused me of being weird. I also stuck Melanie's head in the electric fire nce and melted here, but I was trying to dry her hair

Jas · 31/07/2007 22:25

Not at all wierd

Toe socks are rubbish. I have the wronfg shaped toes and break them every time I buy them Mine are over the knee multicoloured (I have lots)

Just wear what you are comfortable in. I reckon you have the cleavage to take the attention away from any slightly grubby top you may wear

I'd go with the pjs, but I don't see the point in nighties (or sundresses?) in bed. They end up round your armpits somewhere.

mustrunmore · 31/07/2007 22:27

Depends who you're in bed with really

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/07/2007 22:29

I reckon flame would like you to sleep naked , but failing that, I reckon kermit pjs.

Def don't worry about dressing up. Anything comfortable will be fine. Tis only pizza and wine at a mate's house you know!

Seat cover now in washing machine thanks to MN .

Where is flame tonight? She's not logged on at the moment, which is most unusual. Is she off gallavanting again?

for passports Jas - that's an expense anyone could do without.

Chloe - I can indeed buy food and wine. Then I can think of it as inviting you all to my birthday party .

Jas · 31/07/2007 22:31

Yes I have realised how much 3 new passports are going to cost. Not something I had planned for
