Pinions, it's truely awful when they're both at it

No advice on the transfer to ff since i've always been ff. Hope he takes to it soon.

SOKL, ds had his jabs last monday and tbh he didn't seem to have any side effects. He maybe just slept a bit more. Didn't need the calpol but it's always there, just in case He always takes his 6oz bottles, well pretty much always, tis a rare event if he stops drinking, lol. BUT he can sick up alot sometimes so think that's his way of not drinking so much IYSWIM. Dd was the same. Still is. Will drink however much you give her straight away.

DS is definately teething he's always had one white spot on his bottom gum but now his fist is permenantly in his mouth and he's got bumpy gums. Checked dd's red book and her first tooth came through at 9 1/2 months so hope he gets his a bit quicker. Plus you can't give them anything to chomp on at this age as they can't hold it. I've bought one of those dummy teethers but so far no success as he just wants to suck it Have bought teething gel so may give that a go if he seems in pain.

nuttygirl · 20/06/2007 11:10

GMM - that's a big commute LOL ...did you used to live in Leeds then?

Pinions, of course just whenever suits you...I daren't drive round leeds - it's too confusing!

Eddas - my nephew was born with one tooth coming through

Right laudry is sorted (well, as much as it can be)...should I try to hoover while Erin is happy in moses basket

Pinions · 20/06/2007 11:16

I love driving round leeds (reminds me of being young and free again!), its just the giratory sp? that i hate cos its so massive. DS1 is on my knee now have to go back to cars website in the words of dippy latas potatas.

nuttygirl · 20/06/2007 11:19

I don't understand the giratory...

mind you I daren't go round the roundabout at the bottom of the road cos it can sometimes be busy...and I won't go on the motorway unless the slip road turns into it's own lane... I'm a bit of a crap driver tbh

oooggs · 20/06/2007 11:19

Pinions - yes we are going to go down the behaviour chart route - hopefully will incorporate the daytime wetting as well. I hope it works.

Katy - yes oooggs is my name, well ds1 thinks so because that is what dh calls me and has done for years. It started as oooggie something to do with the way dh used to say my maiden name and oooggs has stuck. Some very close friends call me it as well.

Physio was a waste of time, everything going back to normal by its self

Health visitor just rung and wants to visit and check all is well when babies are around 4 months. Is this normal???

nuttygirl · 20/06/2007 11:21

My HV comes at about 6 months to give weaning advice ooogs, so maybe that's what your 4 months appointment is (you know so you know what to do in advance)

geordiemacminx · 20/06/2007 11:22

nutty, no, it was when i used to live in newcastle, my boss was based there so used to have to go there at least once a fortnight

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 20/06/2007 11:27

mammyjo · 20/06/2007 11:34

maveta · 20/06/2007 11:37

nutty - well i´m very envious of you buying REAL bras! lol.. need to buy a new bikini thought, my old ones don´t fit me so making do with a cast off from my sister. problem is it´s an old sagy string one so i feel a bit - um - wobbly - in it. off this pm to see if i can fibnd one that at least lifts my boobs up, even if it can´t hide the rest!

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 20/06/2007 11:38

Me too - I think E is more of a hardened drinker ....

mammyjo · 20/06/2007 11:38

I often wondered that about her!!

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 20/06/2007 11:50

She is sat here swigging Vodka out of a bottle as I type!

mammyjo · 20/06/2007 11:59
Grin
nuttygirl · 20/06/2007 12:15

Right have got the downstairs hoovered.

I got a swimming cossie (didn't think my wobbly tum would look good hanging over the bikini!!! ). Also since I'm still losing weight didn't want to spend too much so got one from Primark £6.

DH just bought me a book

Hi CD & Ellie, glad you're having a good time!

think Erin wants fed...better go!

Pesha · 20/06/2007 12:49

Hi all

Katy sorry i missed you last night. Fed him til about half 11, 12, he woke at 3.30 so i fed him in bed, fell asleep and woke up to find him sucking away on me at half 5! Cant believe i slept so well i didnt even move away from him! But then that was it, on off feeding, snuffling and grumbling til half 7 when we got up.

Gotta go, back later

LesleyR · 20/06/2007 13:03

Just about caught up, took a while what with the thread confusion etc. Didn't make it on yesterday as I had docs and opticians appointments.

Sorry to hear so many of you are feeling pants at the mo.

Pinions hope ds1 gets the road thing soon. I find traffic terrifying since I had George.

Glad Ellie and Dippy are having fun.

I'm stuck in today as George's cot is being delivered. I'm hoping we'll sleep more once he's in his own room. We're planning to move him at 12 weeks - 2 weeks from now when he'll be too big for the bassinet in his travel cot. Dh is good at sleeping through grumbling and dinosaur noises but I just can't so I get less sleep than everyone.

Pinions · 20/06/2007 13:07

Hi lesley jsut dropped the nightmare one off at nursery.

Am thinking i am about to go into major meltdown any time around now nice eh?

Pinions · 20/06/2007 13:27

Back in a few days girls cos i hate moaning. Looking forward to hearing news on the SE meet up!
