Sexonknackeredlegs · 18/06/2007 21:11

eca, luckily I have a HUGE bottle of the stuff! Thinking about intravenous drips!!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 18/06/2007 21:12

WCL, also meant to add that B who is now 4, is calling people lots of names - none of them very pleasant. I too am trying to ignore it.

Eddas · 18/06/2007 21:13

Not ignoring everyone elses post but WCL PMSL at your dd. Sounds just like mine She stayed at her Nanny's on saturday night. On sunday Nanny tells us of their bath conversation.....

Nanny drops soap in bath
DD : say damn nanny
Nanny : pardon
DD : Like mummy does, I dropped the damned soap
Nanny : PHSL

HV'S are pooheadsI know they ain't really!well some are
Hi All........loely to read what yu are all up to.Spent most of the day gtting rained on.I thought theses travel systems were sposed to be easy, then again it was lashing down and Milo wa s screaming his head off.DS1 has been fantastic.Because we are MAD we surprised him with a 7 week old springer spaniel who he has called Roge.He is looking after him very well and is so chuffed. Some arse parked so close to me today i didn't think i would be able to get out and then thought the car had packed in..but i was trying to rev the brake
Think Milo can't tolerate cows milk so will have to go to a dietician..he is having soya at the mo and his poos are abit better but he is still really mucousy he is putting on weight well, but teh cows milk made him scream for 2 days trying to poo then all orange, runny and mucousy.I know there is a question mark over soya re oestrogen levels and intolerance so feel abit anxious.
Glad to see we are all trucking along. The photos i have seen so far are fab.xxxxxxx

Eddas would be a much worse word than damn in my house

Had Dylan weighed - he is now 9lb 14.5 at exactly 8 weeks, gained 6oz since last week which is a record for him so yay!! Maybe my boobs are working after all

Dylan is still fine in his basket, for now anyway, and I will be keeping him in my room till 6 months as i did with previous 2. Goes back to what i said before about me following advice cos of the 'what if...' factor. Read something on here the other day about it not being so you hear their breathing but that they can hear yours and it helps them to regulate their own breathing. But again ithink its a personal thing. And dylan will prob still be in with me lots and waking for feeds lots if he's anything like nath so would be too much hassle to have to actually get out of bed to get him and feed him

PTA meeting went well - managed not to volunteer for too much stuff! Book a bouncy castle for the summer BBQ, help set up the school disco and find some sails suppliers to make shade things for the summer.

WCL - I'm sure dd called me poohead and she has a lovely sticky out tongue LOL

Had Ernie weighed today - 13lbs at 9 weeks - must find his book and plot it like a good mummy. Went to a baby massage group at the local health centre - was really nice - lots of babies the same age.

Have another meeting tomorrow night to organise the village env festival and a playgroup committee meeting to thurs to organise the summer fayre [yawn] - I am away for the latter luckily so not going to get involved - but the meeting is here - bad move I think - can;t escape early!

octo · 18/06/2007 22:15

Ernie has been in his room since two weeks - sleeps so much better.

eca · 18/06/2007 22:18

octo - we went to a baby massage class too and LOVED it!! It's so lovely to see T relax and enjoy it! He's started sucking his thumb when I start v v cute And I've found it's helped him with wind and tummy ache.

CaptainDippysHouseGuest · 18/06/2007 22:38

this is gonna get confusing
you weren't the only one to think i was Dippy eddas, i just did

and i thought she was me

bugger!

Matthew has apparently been going up to everybody using his new phrase uncle Skott taught him

"I like you - NOT!"

octo · 18/06/2007 22:51

You did confuse me aswell - I thought dippy had mice!

CaptainDippysHouseGuest · 18/06/2007 22:54

on the 3 yr olds and how you stop them saying words they shouldn't, you can't.

just keep them away from uncle's and daddy so it's poohead not fuck off they say
or oh shit when they forget their coat

CaptainDippysHouseGuest · 18/06/2007 22:56

octo · 18/06/2007 22:59

HouseGuestofCaptainDippy · 18/06/2007 23:00

HouseGuestofCaptainDippy · 18/06/2007 23:00

futhermucker
i like that!

octo · 18/06/2007 23:03

Much better name!

Futhermucker would be a great mn name

HouseGuestofCaptainDippy · 18/06/2007 23:12

skott says why did you choose such unusual names for ds's?

octo · 18/06/2007 23:17

well - I was a teacher when I had ds1 and everytime we came up with a name it reminded me of a pupil - so we went with Stan to start with - then with ds2 we just liked Ted and thought it went with Stan and then with Ernie - again it had to go with the others and wanted it to be a bit different. It was going to be Jack but ended up as a middle name.

Stanley Argyle (dh plymouth fan)
Ted Harris (MIL maiden name)
Ernie Jack Flash (FIL nickname!)

They all fit their names really well too.

HouseGuestofCaptainDippy · 18/06/2007 23:20

pmsl at Jack Flash, you never mentioned that before

Pesha · 18/06/2007 23:21

Octo - is he really Ernie Jack Flash ?! That is so cool I love it

HouseGuestofCaptainDippy · 18/06/2007 23:21

octo · 18/06/2007 23:23

I think its cool

HouseGuestofCaptainDippy · 18/06/2007 23:23

that would be a bad thing, right?

octo · 18/06/2007 23:24
